How do you know when it is time to begin a new chapter in your life or business?
After more than 25 years as an entrepreneur and two cancer diagnoses, Nancy Juetten knows that meaningful change does not always begin with a carefully mapped-out plan.
Sometimes it starts with a wake-up call.
Other times, it arrives as a quiet but persistent knowing that the life, work, relationships, offers, rooms, or commitments that once fit no longer feel aligned.
In this first episode of Your Next Magnificent Chapter, Nancy shares the personal and professional journey behind the show, including the many evolutions of her business and the life experiences that changed how she thinks about time, success, energy, ambition, visibility, joy, and what truly matters now.
She also explains why “choose what matters now” has become more than a slogan. It is the standard guiding how she lives, leads, works, and creates.
This episode is an invitation to honor what previous chapters have given you while becoming honest about what may be calling next.
You are not too late to release what no longer fits, reclaim your voice, find the right room, lead the conversation that is yours to lead, and create a life and business that feel truer, wiser, and more aligned.

Welcome to Your Next Magnificent Chapter with Nancy Juetten, the show for accomplished professionals, entrepreneurs, and purpose-driven leaders ready to choose what matters now. I'm your host, Nancy Juetten, a 25-year entrepreneur, mastermind leader, two-time cancer survivor, and champion for permission-free success. Together, we'll explore the wake-up calls, pivots, and inner knowings that help us release what no longer fits and create life and work that feel truer, wiser, and more aligned. Your next chapter starts with what you allow. It's time to turn the page.
Nancy Juetten:Welcome to Your Next Magnificent Chapter. I am Nancy Jutten, and I created this show for accomplished professionals, entrepreneurs, and purpose-driven leaders who are standing at a threshold and ready to choose what matters now. Maybe you've received a wake-up call, or you're navigating a pivot. Maybe life has handed you a challenge you did not ask for, or maybe everything looks pretty good on the outside, but something inside you knows that there's another chapter asking to be lived. If that sounds like you, you are in the right place. This show is about the moments that change us, the choices
Nancy Juetten:we make next, and the life and work we create when we stop postponing what matters. And for this very first episode, I want to share the story behind the show, not my entire life story, just the good stuff-the stuff that's relevant to what we're here to talk about today. The journey behind the message, why this show exists, and why it matters to me now, and why I believe your next magnificent chapter may be closer than you think. For more than 25 years, I've been an entrepreneur. Over those years, I've worn many hats. I've been a copywriter, a publicist, a visibility strategist, an author,
Nancy Juetten:speaker, a message mentor, a podcast guesting guide and a mastermind leader. At the heart of all that work, there's always been one thread-a common golden thread: helping people find the words for who they are, what they do, why it matters, and how they want to be known, heard, referred, invited, and paid. Long before the world was talking about personal branding and visibility strategy. I was helping business owners, experts, authors, speakers, coaches, consultants, and purpose-driven entrepreneurs say, "That's it. That's exactly what I do. That's what I've been trying to say. I love that
Nancy Juetten:moment. I love when someone finally hears their own brilliance reflected back to them clearly, because when your message clicks, something changes. Your shoulders drop, your confidence rises. The right people understand you faster, and suddenly the opportunities you want have an easier time finding their way to you. But my own journey has not been a straight line, not by a long shot. Like many entrepreneurs, I've had to grow, pivot, rebuild, and reinvent more than once. I started my business after years in marketing and publicity. I built a boutique publicity agency and helped clients get
Nancy Juetten:featured in the media, tell stronger stories, and earn visibility for their work. Then the marketplace changed, life changed, the economy changed, my priorities changed, and I had to change with them. I learned sometimes the hard way that what works beautifully in one season may not be what you're meant to carry into the next. That lesson has followed me through many chapters in my business. There was the chapter of publicity, the chapter of bio writing and message clarity, the chapter of podcast guesting, the chapter of helping experts prepare to be seen and heard on the right shows, and then
Nancy Juetten:more recently, the chapter of leading intimate mastermind communities where accomplished people can tell the truth, be deeply supported, and create success on their own best terms. Each chapter has taught me something. Each chapter has asked me to release something, and each chapter invited me to trust what was next, even before I did not have the whole map. And then life handed me wake-up calls I could not ignore. I came through not just one but two cancer episodes, and while I would never have chosen that path. I can honestly say that those experiences changed me. They sharpened everything.
Nancy Juetten:They changed how I think about time. They changed how I think about business. They changed how I think about ambition, success, service, relationships, energy, and joy. When you have faced your own mortality in a very real way. You stop pretending that someday is a reliable strategy.
Nancy Juetten:You stop postponing the conversations that matter. You stop saying yes to rooms that drain you. You stop building a business that looks good on paper but does not feel good in your actual life. At least that was what happened for me. Coming through those experiences made one thing crystal clear: life is precious, health is precious, time is precious. I do not want to waste any of it on work, relationships, commitments, or expectations that are not aligned with the life I actually want to live now. That's why the phrase "choose what matters now" means so much to me. It's not a slogan. It's
Nancy Juetten:a standard. It's how I'm choosing to live. It's how I'm choosing to lead, and it is the invitation at the heart of this show, because I believe many accomplished people eventually reach a point where more is not necessarily the answer. More is not necessarily better. More noise, more pressure, more hustle, more proving, more programs, more obligations, more chasing. At some point, many of us start asking different questions. What is actually worth my energy now? Who do I want beside me? What work feels true? What conversations am I here to lead? That's one of my favorites. What conversation am
Nancy Juetten:I here to lead? What am I no longer willing to postpone? What would it look like to love my business and my life? Because one without the other is simply not good enough. That has become one of my deepest beliefs. Loving your business and loving your life both matter. A business that succeeds while your life quality suffers is not my definition of success, and a beautiful life that is unsupported by meaningful aligned work may not feel complete either. I want both, and I believe many of you do too. That's why your next magnificent chapter exists. This show is a place for honest
Nancy Juetten:conversations with accomplished professionals, entrepreneurs, leaders, authors, experts, and change makers who have transformed threshold moments into meaningful new chapters. We'll talk about what happened, how it changed them, what they had to release, what they had to reclaim, what they chose to reinvent, and the life and work they're creating now with greater purpose, clarity, courage, and intention. Some guests will have dramatic wake-up calls. Some will have courageous business pivots. Some will have health stories, loss stories, reinvention stories, or leadership stories. And some
Nancy Juetten:will simply have that quiet but undeniable inner knowing that says, "This chapter is complete. Something truer is calling me now. What you can expect from this show is not hype, not hustle, not guru worship, not glassy reinvention for applause. This is not about performing success. It is about telling the truth. It's about the real turning points behind meaningful change. It's about the conversations we often do not hear until someone is brave enough to say them out loud. My hope is that each episode helps you feel less alone at the threshold. I hope you hear something that makes you
Nancy Juetten:say, "That's me. I felt that. I've wondered about that too. I've been standing at that edge also, and I hope the conversations here help you listen more closely to your own life, because your next magnificent chapter may not arrive as a lightning bolt. It may begin as a whisper, a nudge, a sense of restlessness, a longing for something more true, a moment when you realize the old room no longer fits, a desire to be seen, heard, referred, invited, and paid for the brilliance you bring now, and not for who you were 10 years ago, and knowing that you are not too late-that part matters. You are
Nancy Juetten:not too late. You are not too late to choose what matters. You are not too late to tell the truth. You are not too late to lead the conversation that is yours to lead. You are not too late to find the right room and believe that the right room changes everything. That is part of the reason my work now centers so deeply around intimate curated masterminds, because in the right room with the right people beside you, you can hear yourself think again. You can be confident about asking for what you need and getting what you need at the moment that you need it. You can be honest without having to
Nancy Juetten:perform. You can be challenged without being shamed.
Nancy Juetten:You can be celebrated without having to explain why it matters. You can bring the whole truth of where you are and where you want to go, and sometimes that is exactly what makes the next chapter possible. This show is also a natural extension of the work I do, helping experts and messengers name and claim the conversations they most want to leave, because visibility for the sake. Visibility does not interest me very much anymore. Being everywhere is not the goal. Being in the right places with the right message to the right people at the right time-that is much more powerful. Whether you
Nancy Juetten:are listening as a potential guest, a future mastermind member, a podcast host, a partner, or simply someone who knows something new is calling. I want this show to feel like a trusted conversation you can enter again and again, a place to pause, reflect, recognize yourself, and consider what your own next magnificent chapter may be asking of you. So here is my invitation as we begin: subscribe or follow the show so you do not miss an episode. Share it with someone in your world who may be standing at a threshold. It could be exactly what he or she needs to hear right now. And if this
Nancy Juetten:message is stirring something in you, I invite you to download the next magnificent chapter journal at the link you'll find in the show notes.
