Growth, Restoration & Reclamation: A New Healing Model | Ep 294

✨ What happens when you've achieved the success you were told to pursue, yet something inside still feels unfulfilled? In Episode 294, I sit down with Graham Skidmore, whose 21-year career at Rocket Mortgage eventually led to burnout and a healing journey that brought together Western science with Eastern, Indigenous, and spiritual approaches. 🌿 Rather than viewing his unique physiology solely through diagnostic labels, Graham began exploring a different question: What if these differences could also hold gifts?

🧠💫 We explore the integrated healing model behind the Harmony Health Institute, addressing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the person. Graham shares his framework of Growth, Restoration, and Reclamation — shifting from seeing life as happening to us toward exploring what our experiences may teach us, transforming our relationship with past trauma, and reclaiming parts of ourselves we may have lost along the way. ❤️‍🩹 This conversation is an invitation to look beyond one-size-fits-all healthcare and explore what whole-person healing can mean for you.

Free gift: For the first 10 people who respond by connecting with me on my website, (https://harmonyhealthinstitute.com) I will offer a free session to help people understand themselves as beings of consciousness going through an experiential learning process that expands their consciousness, gifts, abilities, and wisdom and offer guidance to assist them with healing and enjoying their journey.

Episode Summary:

Key Takeaways

  • Catalyst for Change: Burnout as a Rocket Mortgage executive led to a healing journey integrating Western and Eastern approaches. Western medicine's labels (ADHD, etc.) felt limiting; Eastern views reframed his unique physiology as a spiritual gift, not a defect.
  • Integrated Healing Model: The Harmony Health Institute provides "scalable individualized care" by addressing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. This model offers choice (tech-guided vs. practitioner-led) to meet diverse needs, contrasting with Western medicine's "one box" approach.
  • Core Philosophy: Graham Skidmore's framework—Growth, Restoration, Reclamation—shifts perspective from "things happening to us" to "things happening for us." This reframing transmutes trauma into gratitude and empowers individuals to reclaim their authentic selves.

Topics

Catalyst: From Corporate Burnout to Healing Journey

  • Graham Skidmore's 21-year career at Rocket Mortgage culminated in burnout and unfulfillment despite achieving traditional success.
  • Western Medicine's Approach:
  • Diagnoses (ADHD, dyslexia, etc.) provided labels but felt limiting, causing a loss of confidence.
  • Prescriptions offered temporary relief but didn't address the root cause.
  • Integrated Healing Approach:
  • Combined Western science with Eastern, indigenous, and spiritual practices.
  • Shifted perspective: unique physiology is a spiritual gift, not a defect.
  • This integrated view enabled true healing and clarified his life's purpose.

The Harmony Health Institute: An Integrated Healing Model

  • Mission: Provide "scalable individualized care" where traditional medicine leaves off, focusing on life enjoyment, not just biomarkers.
  • Approach: Address the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies.
  • Framework: Growth, Restoration, Reclamation.
  • Growth: Reframe life events as catalysts for learning.
  • Restoration: Transmute trauma (guilt, shame) into gratitude.
  • Reclamation: Reclaim lost parts of the authentic self.
  • Structure: Offers choice in delivery (tech-guided vs. practitioner-led) and integrates diverse modalities:
  • Traditional: Psychology, psychotherapy, chiropractic, PT, addiction counseling.
  • Non-Traditional: Yoga, breathwork, human development (e.g., Human Design).

About the Guest:

Graham Skidmore is a former Rocket Mortgage executive turned entrepreneur, activist, and mystic. After reaching the traditional markers of success — six-figure income, the house, the car, the country club membership — he found himself burned out, miserable, and unfulfilled. That collapse became the catalyst for a deeper healing journey, one he now teaches as a cycle of personal growth: restoration of the genuine, authentic self and reclamation of the connection with the higher self — transforming life events from happening to us into happening for us.

Graham now works at the intersection of consciousness, healing, and human potential, building life-centric ecosystems — education, tools, community, and systems — that give people the infrastructure to understand themselves as beings of consciousness going through an experiential learning process that expands their consciousness, gifts, abilities, and wisdom. His work centers on providing power to the people, starting in the health and wellness space, and reflects his belief that technology, including AI, should be used to enrich human agency rather than replace it.

His broader mission is to build bridges that deepen our understanding of the human spectrum and experience — he sees this work as creating space for new ways of being to emerge during Earth's justice-through-restoration period, focused on living in alignment with the divine intelligent design. He believes that when individuals are truly supported, we can build a world of happy, healthy, productive, and empowered people.

Melissa’s passion project is her non-profit, Girls Matter (www.girlsmatter.ca), breaking the poverty cycle 1 girl, 1 family, 1 village at a time. The mission is to keep girls in school and stop teenage marriages, because school isn’t free in over 50 countries around the world and when parents have to make the difficult choices of feeding their kids or paying for school, food wins. And when the girls hit their teen years, they will often be married off so that someone else becomes responsible to feed them. Keeping girls in school instead creates a generational ripple effect, because an educated girl is more than twice as likely to ensure her own children are educated. Educating girls also grows the GDP of countries, when they get into the workforce. This is how together, we can change the world.Guests on this podcast are invited to donate to this important cause. [00:00:04] I am pleased to share with you a new training called Karma Code Timeline Therapy Practitioner Certification. This training is a powerful 3-day live on Zoom session teaching you how to help others in clearing all of their stuffed down emotion of anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt,

[00:00:31] rage and shame, without them having to talk about any of the situations that ever caused the root of that anger and release it from the cells in their body and have them feeling light and also to release all of the BS stories running around in our head of being unlovable, unworthy, not good enough, powerless, etc, etc. and get rid of all of that chatter and allow

[00:00:55] them to have peace and quiet in their head. This training is transformational for your clients and for you because during the training you get to experience it both as a practitioner and a client and release all of that garbage for yourself and clear out your emotional body, your mental body and keep them clear so that all of that stuffed down emotion isn't causing

[00:01:21] dis-ease later in your life. Check out the show notes for the link. Our first training is happening in 2026. Imagine getting up every day full of energy as if you were in your 20s again. What would that be like? What would that be worth to you? What is your health worth to you?

[00:01:51] Think about it. Your health isn't everything but without it everything else is nothing and yet too many of us are taking it for granted until something goes wrong. No one wakes up hoping to be diagnosed with a disease or chronic illness and yet we've never been taught how to be proactive in our health through our school system or public health. As a registered health coach and integrative health practitioner,

[00:02:16] I believe it is time this information is made available to everyone. Combining new knowledge around your health health and the ability to do my functional medicine lab tests in the comfort of your own home will allow you to optimize your health for today and all your tomorrows. Don't wait for your wake-up call.

[00:02:40] Welcome back to another episode of the Don't Wait For Your Wake Up Call!. I am Melissa Deally and here with me today I have Graham Skidmore. Welcome to the show, Graham. Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate it. I'm excited for this conversation because it's so much in alignment with my work and what our listeners love to learn about and I'm just going to introduce you a little bit to the audience. Graham Skidmore is a former rocket mortgage executive turned entrepreneur, activist, and mystic.

[00:03:09] After reaching the traditional markers of success, six-figure income, the house, the car, the country club membership, he found himself burned out, miserable, and unfulfilled. That collapse became the catalyst for a deeper healing journey, one he now teaches as a cycle of personal growth. Restoration of the genuine, authentic self and reclamation of the connection with the higher self, transforming life events from happening to us into happening for us.

[00:03:37] And my listeners know that phrase very, very well because we always talk about people getting off victim island and getting over here to solution city. And the way that we do that is to stop saying, why is this happening to me? And instead start asking, how is this happening for me? And in that learning, we can move forward in our life. So I love this alignment, Graham. Yeah, no pressure, huh?

[00:04:06] I've not heard that victim island and solution city before. I like that. That's catchy. Yeah. My business partner coined that a few years ago and it is catchy and we love to share it. And so I've kind of given a very high level surface overview of your journey. And if you don't mind, I would just love for you to share in a little bit more depth, how you were able to get yourself from that place of

[00:04:33] victim island of burnout, et cetera, and over to solution city. Yeah. Well, the short answer is lack of choices makes for very clear direction. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Right. And I was like, all right, there's gotta be more to life than this. And I got a lot of years left on this planet and I'm not into being miserable. So the motivation was there. You know, now what kind of, you know, my journey to get to that, to, you know, to that spot wasn't quite as, you know, as brief or concise. So yeah, like you said, you know,

[00:05:01] I grew up in understanding myself through a very traditional masculine lens. Right. I was taught you're the man, you're the provider, your value of the world is what you can bring, what you can offer. You don't cry. You don't, you know, you don't necessarily show your emotions. You'd be the cornerstone, you know, all those kinds of things. And so I was like, all right, so I can do that. Right. I can, you know, I can, I can be rough around the edges and just focus on money and, and making it. And, you know, fortunately I fell into a career that made a lot of sense for me.

[00:05:31] And I was there for about 21 years and, you know, I always, I know I never understood myself as having any sort of spiritual gifts or things like that along the way, right? I just considered myself a, you know, a quote unquote, you know, I'm using air quotes for those listening, you know, normal kid, I guess. Right. You know, later on in life, I became, you know, normal, albeit quirky or misunderstood or not, you know, a little different, but, you know, still in that like normal category. Right. Right. And then after, you know, I've, so I only say that to say, even though I didn't

[00:06:00] identify with that, you know, a few years before my, before I switched out of my career, I remember just hearing, Hey, like, and feeling like my time here is about done. And of course, you know, that didn't sit right with me. I didn't, you know, that was very much against what my identity was, what my understanding of life and the plan. And, and so of course I fought back against it, tried to do it my way, get things in going. I thought I had about three years. The universe was like, yeah, we're going to make that about two, you're moving a little too slow. And so, you know, they

[00:06:26] gave, and so I received, you know, some catalysts sat down with the CEO who was also, you know, like I considered like a brother, you know, we'd been together for 21 years, growing a company from 400 people to 20,000, you know, we, we, we, we encountered a lot. And so he was like, you know, and so, you know, it was, like he said, I was miserable and stuff. So it was like, Hey, some things aren't working. I'm like, yeah, no, they're definitely not working.

[00:06:52] Because I'd been there for so long. I kind of been a poster child in many ways, because I didn't come from a traditional background, but was able to achieve success in the organization. Right. And so, you know, none of us ever thought I would leave, right. Everybody kind of self-included thought I would just retire there. So I left no idea what I was going to, where I was going from there. I just knew that I didn't even know who I was anymore. I felt like a conglomeration of learned behaviors and habits to just to try to fit in. And so I said, all right, I got to take a step back and figure this out, even before I go into

[00:07:22] my next career, because I'm literally, I just literally was so miserable. I'm like, I got to figure out a way to be happy, healthy. So I went down to, you know, Western lens. Right. And I was like, Hey, all right, I don't feel good. Make me feel better. Right. What, what, what pills you got for me, so to speak? Not, not literally, but, and so they're like, all right, well, let's, you know, let's go through some things. And so, you know, like, and so I received a lot of, you know, traditional diagnoses such as autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, dyscalculia, elixithymia,

[00:07:49] Erlen syndrome, which is what these glasses are. And I was like, all right, that's, that's enough for me. I don't know. You know, a lot of labels. Right. Yeah, exactly. Right. They love the labels. Right. So I was like, I'm sure I would have gotten more of them had I continued to go on. And every one of those labels had at least one pill to go with it, if not more. Oh, I was, yeah, it was, it was, and I was definitely did not enjoy being on the pills, but I also didn't enjoy, you know, but they certainly, but you know, they did help. It wasn't, it wasn't ideal, but it was better than nothing at that time. And so I was like, okay, something's got to give. I don't want to be on pills the rest of my life. I don't want to be

[00:08:19] dependent on things. I sure as heck don't want to feel like I'm broken. Right. And so it was very interesting. The same way that words lift us up, they can bring us down. And so the more that I found myself leaning into those identities or those labels, I also found myself accepting some of those limitations, which was for the first time in my life, the first time ever I'd ever done that. I'd never experienced limitations. I was full of confidence, whether it was founded or not, I always had it warranted or not. I always had it. And so this, and so things didn't feel good. So all of a sudden

[00:08:45] I found myself, you know, my, my, my, my, my speech was, was, was struggle. I found myself living out of fear and anxiety that it affected me physically. And I started experiencing the world in ways that were very scary and that I hadn't before. So I was like, okay, well, this isn't good. You know, after I had the honeymoon period and I was like, okay, again, I still got decades on this, on this earth, this can't be as good as it gets. What else is there left? So then I started to understand myself through the, you know, through the Eastern indigenous and spiritual lenses as well. And it was only once I started to take that integrative approach

[00:09:14] and understand, instead of where Western medicine said, Hey, you know, you don't understand your wiring. So you're broken. The other lenses taught me to understand, you don't understand your wiring because you're very spiritually gifted and nobody taught you how to understand your body. Right. Right. And so therefore, once I took that integrative approach, now all of a sudden I was able to accomplish the healing. I was able to understand my gifts. I was able to just separate the, the noise, the overstimulation, et cetera, and recognize it as being able to just tapping into

[00:09:40] the information around me. Right. And so that is when I, you know, anything along the way too, there was, you know, a spiritual awakening, you know, that, you know, that occurred, but that was then what led me to down my, you know, my healing journey of finally being able to achieve that happiness and healthiness that I wanted, you know, taking that integrative and whole body approach. And then that ended up, you know, helping me understand my next chapter of life, what my purpose

[00:10:06] was, what I was supposed to be focused on. And I then spent the last seven or eight years working on myself. That was my job. I didn't really do anything else aside from learn different modalities and understand myself through those different lenses. I love that. And just the way you're talking about it, I can tell that when you look back at what happened, you know, you were miserable and burnt out and you were going through all of that.

[00:10:32] And in the moment it sucked. However, you now realize that all of that had to happen in order for you to get to where you are now to push you into that healing journey that needed to happen such that you can understand yourself to the level that you do now, understand all of your gifts and show up in the world able to help others. And so are you at that place of healing where you look back at having gone through all of that with gratitude? Oh, there's not just gratitude, but then the next stage of restoration as well.

[00:11:01] Right. I mean, the Western lens teaches us that if something doesn't go right, it's because you did something wrong. There's fault, there's blame. You start going through the influence, right? Where the other lens is, it's more of understanding as catalysts to, you know, help you along. You're this is what I've called, you know, the journey of the growth, restoration and reclamation. Love that. And also, you know, recognizing that, you know, in the corporate world and I used to be in the corporate world too, and I, you know, similar situation to you

[00:11:31] and I was let go. And then I'm like, well, I don't want to do what I was doing anymore. What now? And opened it up to the universe to guide me. And, you know, I was guided into health and wellness too, but reclaiming intuition. And you had that intuition back then that something was wrong. I don't know what it is. I'm not happy. I'm unfulfilled. And it was enough of a spark that when that conversation happened, you just said, I'm out. And you were listening to it, even if you didn't know that you

[00:11:59] were listening to it at that point. However, I would love for you to talk to how you now help people reclaim their intuition and learn to recognize what their body and inner wisdom is telling them. Yeah. So one of the things that, you know, some of the knowledge that came to me through my journey and healing and everything was, you know, understanding myself as a being of consciousness,

[00:12:25] having a, you know, living and learning journey. And so some of the information that was given to me was, it was around earth's divine intelligent design and its purpose. And so, you know, so then I started to understand myself through that lens and walk myself through it. And so that's what I share with others. So specifically, you know, what I teach is that, you know, the purpose for us here on earth

[00:12:47] is the understanding of divine love. So let me back up the bus here for a second. It's the understanding of divine love while having the courage to do what is right, while gaining the wisdom to operate in the highest good of all through stewardship. And so, so everything that I do is helping people to understand themselves through that journey and saying, look, you created a journey for yourself. So first of all, when we talk about things happening to us versus for us, let's understand

[00:13:15] that not every little detail did you design for yourself, right? But you designed that to learn certain things, to experience certain things. So let's, so let's start by instead of things happening to us or happening for us, and they're the catalyst to move us along. And that's a lot of part of the trauma healing is, is being able to transmute those from, you know, the guilt, the shame, the trauma, the fear, because Western said you're, you did something wrong. Right. And so therefore you need to own this. And then that manifests itself on us. Right. And so instead it's like,

[00:13:43] no, no, no. Yeah. Western tells you that, but all these other things tell you that, no, these were catalysts to help you along your growth. So let's talk about why we have gratitude for what happened to us, which includes some very sensitive topics, which can be very difficult, you know? And when people understand like this horrible, horrible thing you're telling me, that's like the thing that I'm the most ashamed of, most embarrassed of that I've got the most guilt over, is something that I'm going to have gratitude for. You're out of your freaking mind, Graham. You know what I mean? It's like, yeah, I get it. I'm not saying to have it now. Just stick with me.

[00:14:13] Right. And then to your point earlier, then we do end up getting there because we recognize, had we not had these catalysts, right? We wouldn't have made those things. We were given the choices before, right? We could have, we could have easily used our own initiative to take those steps forward, but we didn't. Right. So, right. So we needed that. So anyway, so yeah. So helping to understand people through their own living and learning journey that they designed for themselves. And as catalysts is the way that we can unwind that trauma and then having gratitude and then

[00:14:38] recognizing, Hey, if there's stuff that we still lost as parts of us, right. Being able to go through then that restoration process, you know, as well. Yeah. I love that. And I'm so grateful that you're also out there teaching us in the world because until I got into health coaching, I had no idea, you know, I spent all my years in the corporate world, literally with my intuition

[00:15:03] being squashed, forgotten all about just in my, you know, cognitive thinking mind and left all of that behind. And then it wasn't until I got out that it started coming back to me. And I was like, Oh, right. And followed those paths and came to a place, you know, in my own business, loving what I do, who I am, how I show up and helping others learn this at a younger age.

[00:15:28] So something else that was very fascinating to me that I didn't even learn really as an integrative health coach, I learned it as I got into the work of neurolinguistic programming and timeline therapy and hypnotherapy and the power of our unconscious mind. And that is the fact that we have more than just the physical body. And we, in our healing journey, we have to yes, heal our physical body. We also have to heal our emotional body, our mental body, our spiritual body. And I

[00:15:56] know this is what you focus on as well. So let's talk about why it's so important that all of that is addressed together in the healing journey. That's so fascinating that you just brought it this way because I almost, I almost added something, but I was like, no, no, no, let her keep talking. And then you brought it right back to this. And so this, which is to say, one of the things that I realized as I went through this, I was, and I hope this comes out the right way to your audience, was that after I went, after I started to go through this, I went, holy cow, if this is what's

[00:16:21] happening to me, most people are screwed. And what I mean by that is, what I mean by that is that, look, I was a straight white male executive. The system was built for me. The privilege was in my corner. Right. Right. I had access. I had concierge medicine. I had executive coaching. I had, you know, the Cleveland clinic that I could go to when things weren't. So, I mean, I had the tools.

[00:16:48] I had all the tools. I had the access. I had the resources. And had I continued to go down that path, you know, I never in a million years could have healed and become whole again, going down that strictly Western lens that I had. And so that's what I mean by, you know, if I had access to all these things and, and, and, and I'm silly, right? Like the average person that doesn't have those means is really in a tough spot. And they're, and, you know, and the system is certainly not set up

[00:17:17] to be kind, supportive and, and, and treat you with grace typically it's, you know, fit into the box or you're the problem. Right. And when you just said that you gave me whole body truth bumps because it's so true, right? We're programmed to believe that those are the solutions. Those are the tools and that's it. Yeah. And even, you know, I had a conversation with another doctor on this podcast years ago and we were chatting and I,

[00:17:46] and I had said to him, wouldn't it be nice when you go to the doctor and, you know, they diagnose you with something and they make a recommendation, they give you a prescription that if they could also say, or you could do this, this, this, or this, or you could look into this, this, this, or this, and that isn't their training. And we're just, you know, no fault of the doctor. The doctors have gone to school. They've done the education. They're there. They want to help people. However, they have

[00:18:15] one, let's put, put another box around it. One box of training. And there's so much more. Absolutely. And that's my thing too. That's it. You know, that was part of, and that's kind of, you went into the health and wellness journey from that way. And so did I, I was like, Hey, if that box works for you and that's where you're at in your journey and you're getting what you need. Cool, man. That's awesome. But there's a whole bunch of us that this system isn't working for. We need some, we need some new systems and infrastructure to better support, especially

[00:18:41] those of us that identify as having more than the traditional five senses and understanding that our physiology is different and unique. Right. And that's one of the challenges, even in the Western medicine, let's talk about individualization or personalization. But in my experience, what I found that to mean is we still believe there's one box of what it means to be a normal human. And we're going to, we'll, we'll personalize your journey into that box. Yes. But make right where I'm like, no, no, no, no, no. We'll keep you in the box though. That's right. But no, no, I am the box. My, my physiology is my own box. And that's what,

[00:19:08] and that's, and that was really the big thing that I had to, you know, learn for myself and become comfortable with and pushing back on was, no, I do have my own individual physiology as is this care as individuals, not just, not just an individualized past in the same place. Exactly. Because, you know, as different as our fingerprints are, our guts are just as different

[00:19:34] and our life experiences are just as different. So I talk about our filters, the content in our filters are just as different. And so that's why it's so important that we do address the physical body and what is going on in the emotional body that has triggered some of what's going on in the physical body because that stuff down negative emotion causes disease over the course of our lifetime. What's going on in the mental body, the beliefs, you know, you were talking about the

[00:20:02] limiting beliefs before you had confidence. And then all of a sudden you develop limiting beliefs because you were given a label and that label says you can only do this, this, or this, or you can't do that, that, and that. And I say, cancel, cancel, cancel. And then the spiritual health as well, tapping into that, our soul's wisdom, our intuition, our mission in this lifetime. And I 100% agree that

[00:20:23] all four need to be addressed in any healing journey. So let's just broaden the scope here for a moment because burnout and chronic stress are rampant. You know, the world was stressed out before COVID is what I always said. And then COVID just made it worse and the level of anxiety and teens and

[00:20:42] young people escalated, et cetera. So let's talk about how you help people proactively prevent burnout, calm their nervous system, et cetera. And how that is different to what the modern system is typically doing or how you can, you know, the two can work together. However, just the modern

[00:21:08] system is failing us because we have so much chronic disease, chronic stress and burnout right now. Yeah. Well, what's crazy is that, you know, burnout, you know, I, I grew up in that office, the company that I was at or the community I was in, or just, you know, but, you know, I was one of those people that wore that burnout or those long hours, never taking a vacation as that bag, as that like badge of honor. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Right. And so that, that was,

[00:21:37] and so for me, even if somebody brought that, that brought that stuff to me, I wouldn't have been listening to it because at that point in time in my life, you know, I just wasn't ready to understand things from a different lens or I was, I couldn't have comprehended. So to answer your question about the proactivity, I don't necessarily spend so much time on the proactivity, what I, I guess I do in a way by sharing my, my story, because there's a lot of pieces of it that, you know, like a lot of people can relate to. And also from saying, you know, a lot of times where,

[00:22:08] you know, people that go on spiritual journeys can be, what's the word, criticized or called woo-woo or the crazy tree hugging hippies. They just need to work within the system. They couldn't make it. So that's why they went this way. There's all kinds of ways of, of, of what's the word that, removing credibility from people. Right. Right. But when you have people that have got, that were successful playing the game of life that we were taught and achieved, you know what I mean?

[00:22:35] Being more than the, than the average bear out there. It's a lot, it's a lot more challenging to discredit those people because it's like, no, I had a choice. I could have kept doing what I was doing. I could have easily been out there, you know, can make it a lot of money. And I could have also made, continue to be an absolutely miserable human being that didn't recognize who they saw in the mirror and certainly didn't enjoy who they saw when they woke up and looking, you know, in the morning and looked in the mirror. And so, you know, and I know there's a lot of people that can relate to that. So anyway, so my proactivity is more about just being, is showing a different way of

[00:23:05] being, right. Especially as a man in, you know, in today's society. And in combination with, well, I guess, you know, it's just really, really, I think that's what it is at this point in time. My main focus on the productivity is just my way of being and just being authentic to myself and showing that that's my badge of honor and that's my shield. And then, and then it's, what's what I found that's been very interesting is how many people have got very different beliefs beliefs that are aligned with a lot more people than what they would admit to, but they're in the

[00:23:35] back of their head, right? So once we're open, then others will approach us or recognize, oh, I thought that was maybe just me or, hey, you walked in my shoes. So can you help me? And that was kind of one of the things I understood about my path was that, you know, again, Western medicine would have said, I made these mistakes and I didn't, and I didn't hack it. No, it was the exact opposite is I needed firsthand experience in my life of this walking in these shoes, then walking in the next set of shoes so I could build those bridges for others. And yeah, that's kind of how I think about it.

[00:24:03] Absolutely. I love that. And then now you can help shorten the journey for the next person. Yeah, it's up to them, but yeah. And some of them are going to choose the long way because that is their journey and that is the learning that they need to go through. Right. And, and I really love that you said earlier that, you know, if it, if the tools, these alternative or woo tools, as we refer to them sometimes came to you earlier, you wouldn't have been ready for them. And, you know, I feel

[00:24:32] exactly the same way. And so for each of us on this planet, we have our path, we have our journey, we have the lessons that we need to learn. And it's a question of learning to be more curious, learning to be more open to what's there so that we can see what is actually available to us. Because when we are closed off, when we are in a place of judgment of self, of others, we're missing those opportunities. And I'm a hundred percent guilty of that. A hundred percent guilty of

[00:25:02] that. A curious mind. Boy, would the, I mean, that is one of the things that's missing so much and makes such a huge difference, you know, in so many different ways. Um, and so I just, you talked about your truth, you know, you got your truth bumps or whatever. And that's just one of those things for me when people say, well, what would be a couple of tips you give somebody? Number one, have a curious mind. Exactly. And for, you know, it's, it's not necessarily easy to do. It takes practice

[00:25:33] because we do have a lot of programming that's coming through our childhood and that forms all of our belief systems. And so we accept a lot of things as being status quo or being the right solution, et cetera. And it takes practice to remain curious and say, okay, that's what I've been told. And is there

[00:25:55] another way? And I think especially as, you know, well, I'm not, it's not even a gender thing. For those of us that grew up and, you know, whether we were conditionists, we're in it, that ended up just really living in our masculine energy where we became so outcome focused. Right. And we were, you know, and this was absolutely me. Um, it was that, you know, we lost, I lost the, I lost the, I lost the, the

[00:26:22] understanding of the value from learning from the journey. And I didn't have, you know, the value of that, which requires a curious mind. Yes. Right. And so that curious mind is absolutely a critical component to tapping into our feminine energy, which is critical to our psychic abilities, which is critical to being, you know, not the, the, the masculine and the feminine energies both are critical to being, you know, a whole and healthy, complete human being. And that's one of those.

[00:26:47] And so that's why there's such a gateway with that curious mind. Exactly. Exactly. I love that. And another powerful aspect of this work that I want you to share is just being grounded and having that, you know, curiosity to tap into what does being grounded mean for me and how does that

[00:27:14] impact how I show up in the world? Because this is a topic that, you know, it's becoming, you know, there's documentaries around it. There's talk around it. And do people really know what being grounded means? Oh, universe creator. However, I'm so many lines, this is now the second or third kind of question I was asking myself on the side in my own world and is now popping up here. So it's just funny how these synchronicities work and, you know, and it's like, Hey, well, if you weren't going to get

[00:27:44] there on your own, we're going to put you on the spot to figure out how you want to answer this. So I'm just, I, I'm thoroughly enjoying the synchronicities here. Yeah. You know, I don't know that I necessarily have the, you know, the greatest answer in the world, you know, but for myself, what I found is being grounded is I, it's, I'm feeling very comfortable in my head. Right. I feel very comfortable imagining things, right. My, you know, in a world where consciousness is the basis of reality, your mind is one of your greatest weapons, right?

[00:28:13] Yes. Or strengths issues. I don't want to say tools. There we go. Thank you. Tools. And so, you know, I always feel very comfortable in my head. I'm, you know, the manifestation for me starts in the head and thinking about things and imagining things and visioning things. But there's that other part of, you can think about it all you want. And, but if, but if I don't acknowledge the practicalities of the situation that I'm in, you know, the restrictions that exist here in this physical environment,

[00:28:41] and then if I don't take those actions that are also needed to support the thoughts, it's not going to happen. That's the other part of it. And so for me, being grounded has meant that I'm, I'm acknowledging that I can't just think it. I need to act on it and do it and be it and embody it to bring it to life. And so, so it means acknowledging that, Hey, my, my power, my tools might exist in the ether, but I still have to figure out how to bring them from the ether

[00:29:10] into the practicality here of the physical and then how to get them to work together. And if I, and when I'm operating in that place, then I, then I'm grounded. Otherwise I'm just dreaming. Right. You know, and that was, that was a, that was a tough one for me because I, I, you know, I, I didn't do it early on. I didn't realize the action and embodiment. So I just got to think it, believe it, and then the stuff will start to show up for me. And then I get frustrated that it didn't.

[00:29:35] Right. And he wasn't taking the actions. I think there's a lot of people there and they're, you know, the buzzword manifestation and, you know, I'll just manifest it. Right. Yeah. And to your point, and you know, we teach this in our academy is, you know, all the resources are in our higher self. How's there our blueprint for perfect health. It's all there from the moment that we're born. And it's a matter of us developing the consciousness such that we can

[00:30:02] get up there and bring those resources down. And the only way we can do that is tapping through the unconscious mind because it connects to the higher self and it requires the, the thinking and the action, as you've said, because literally the definition of a dream is a wish with no action.

[00:30:29] And it requires, you know, the conscious mind thinks it puts that message to the unconscious mind of this is what I want, which is that manifestation piece that people stop there without the action to show the universe. I'm serious. This is what I want. I'm moving forward with this such that resources can come so that we can achieve what it is that we want to achieve. And we have to be really grounded in

[00:30:59] what we want so that we don't also have conflicting thoughts going through going, oh, maybe I don't want that after all. Cancel, cancel, cancel. Or we have the resistance that we may not even realize because it's not coming to us. That was another one that I, this goes back to the masculine, the feminine energy. I would get so focused. I would even do the two things. I, I get it. I'd imagine it. I believe it. I'd put forth the actions, but I was so hung up on what the outcome looked like that I would get

[00:31:27] my own way from it being able to come to me. Yes. Yes. And so true because your conscious mind and its ability to think of what the outcome can be is so limited compared to what the outcome could be. And if we're stuck in it only being this, we're have our blinders on and we're not going to see, oh my goodness, look at how much more this could be over here. We're just going to miss it.

[00:31:56] It's like the universe is like, Hey, you said you were hungry. I'm offering you a ham sandwich, but now you, but you're so hung up on the fact that you want a turkey sandwich, but then you're playing that you're hungry. Why don't, why don't, why are you so adamant against that? Just enjoying the ham, you know, the ham that I'm offering or whatever. Well, yeah, that was a certainly, uh, you know, another one where I, and by the way, I'll also clarify that part of, you know, I have to learn from all different ways. So I certainly take the long route, the challenging route, the two by four across the head to learn.

[00:32:26] But that's, but that's how I learn and that's how it sticks with me and, you know, and how I get it to make sense. And at the end of the day, look how far you've come and look how clearly how happy you are and who you are and what you do now, because you couldn't show up on a podcast like this and have this conversation and laugh and joke about it and have fun if you weren't. So congratulations to you for doing the work and now for helping others. And I want to get into that in a moment and have you

[00:32:56] share with the audience, how they can get hold of you and talk about your, um, wellness Institute, etc. However, first I always love to ask my audience, what does don't wait for your wake up call mean to you? Yeah. Yeah. I apparently I've been, I've been, um, uh, leaving, foreshadowing my answer as we were going here. So don't wait for me. Don't wait for your wake up call really has meant

[00:33:22] embracing and stepping into the feminine, feminine energy and just, and, and worrying about putting the next foot in front of the other, right? I've got today. How do I make the most of today? Don't get so hung up on that outcome and just start taking the steps forward so that the universe can meet you where you're at when it's time. And, uh, yeah, and that was a, and that was again, a tough one for me because I couldn't see the outcome and I couldn't see that path to the outcome.

[00:33:49] I would just stay stuck until I could. Right. And, you know, which was then counterproductive and, and, and, and everything. And there's no action happening when you're stuck. No, just frustration. Yeah. Over here on victim Island and just putting one foot in front of the other, as small a step as it might be is still action moving you forward. So I love that. So Graham,

[00:34:13] please share about how you help others. Now your Institute and your very generous offer that you are offering to my audience here, please. Yeah. So, you know, like you, like you, you know, I've realized that, you know, um, health and wellness, it was, was the first area that I was supposed to go into, um, you know, is providing some, you know, some infrastructure here and, you know, our focus is picking up where traditional medicine, you know, leaves off,

[00:34:40] right. You should absolutely take care of your, you know, blood pressure and, you know, uh, and, and basic, uh, was, you know, biomarkers and things like that vital signs, right. That that are there, but, but that doesn't necessarily match how we live. Right. So we folks, so we have a six, I think it was six, seven pillars, uh, and they focus on things like nervous system regulation, removing of pain, understanding your gifts and abilities, learning how to love yourself,

[00:35:04] things that are actually like, okay, if you're, and our focus then is, um, you know, being healthy with biomarkers is one thing, but if you're not able to actually do what you want to do in life and enjoy what you want to enjoy out of life, it's not totally taking you where you need to go. So let's build the system around you based on your individual life goals, your journey, your physiology to support you, to achieve those things. And so that's what, and so that's what our approach is to scalable individualized care, you know, at the, at the Harmony Health Institute.

[00:35:32] And so what, and it also includes whether somebody wants to have a kind of individual, they're all individualized journeys, but I mean, um, uh, on a more solo journey where they lean into the technology and, you know, more than necessarily the human and they kind of self-guide. Cool. We offer that option. If somebody prefers to lean more into the practitioner network and do it, cool. We offer that or somewhere in between, right? The point is about creating choices for people based on how they learn where they're at on their journey. Um, and so we've, and so in

[00:36:01] fairness, we are, you know, we just started to kick this off just a couple of months ago. We're going through a pilot program right now, working out the bugs, getting feedback, you know, making sure that what we're trying to do is what being, you know, is what's coming through, figuring out the next phase, you know, and, you know, and the next set of practitioners and things like that as well, and modalities to, uh, on board. And, um, yeah, and it's, and it's a line, we've got traditional and non-traditional, right? So we've got psychologist, uh, psychotherapist,

[00:36:29] chiropractor, um, uh, what's it? Physical therapy, addiction counseling. Um, you know, I focus on helping people understand themselves, you know, they're, they're living and learning journey. We've got yoga, breath work, uh, so I can't remember if I said it before, but if I'll say it again, because it's so important, you know, addiction, which is also, cause that's definitely, um, a challenge inside of a spiritual community. Um, and that's, you know, there's, anyway, there's, there's a, uh, I won't say human design, but it's called human development,

[00:36:59] you know, where, you know, human design is one tool in that toolbox. Right. Um, yeah. And so, and so I think between initially we've got about six practitioners and about 20 modalities that we're getting started with. That's awesome. I love it because of course there are so many ways that we can heal and it's about what is the right tool for the person in front of you and where they're at on their journey. And as you said earlier, meeting them where they're at. Yeah. And so to

[00:37:25] your, then your next question of what would be my offer is, so, you know, if understanding yourself as a being of consciousness, rocking a human suit, having your living and learning experience, you wanting to kind of explore that a bit more and understand, Hey, am I kind of stuck in a learning loop or how can you help me to get, you know, get out of it? Then, you know, I'd love to, uh, you know, offer a free session to, you know, to the first 10 people that reach out and, and, um, you know, and, uh, yeah, see what we can do to, to, you know, my, my focus is just

[00:37:53] simple. We just want people to be happy, healthy, and empowered. I love that. Very similar to what we say, happy, healthy, wealthy through our empowerment school. So yes, all this great work being done together in the world. And I have all of that in the show notes. And if people want to reach out to claim one of those first 10 free offers, thank you for your generosity. Uh, they can just go to your website and mention this podcast, click on the contact form and mention this podcast to claim that. Is that correct?

[00:38:23] Perfect. That's all they've got to do. That's right. Perfect. Awesome. So thank you so much for your time, for your vulnerability, sharing your story, all of your learning to where you're at today and for inspiring others. Cause I know there's people listening to this podcast who are where you used to be and you've now given them inspiration and hope that it doesn't always have to be that way. And that they can take steps and action to make change in their life. And they can start by reaching out to you. So really appreciate your time

[00:38:52] here. Are there any last words of wisdom that you would like to share with the audience today? Um, just that we all have, do I guess it'd be kind of two things. Number, whether or not we have psychic gifts isn't necessarily, uh, uh, an indication of our conscious development. It's a, it's an indication of, of the learning lesson that we chose for ourselves. Right. So I don't want, so that, that should never be a thing. And it's also important because most of us were never taught

[00:39:18] how to tap into those things. And so we wouldn't even think about that. So the other thing I want to, I couldn't reiterate more, regardless of whether or not how you think about yourself, your abilities, or even what you created for yourself, we all have more gifts, wisdom, and abilities than what we've led on to. So if that's something that, you know, you want to explore more of your potential, please find somebody you trust that you can speak to openly and, you know, and let the universe know you're ready. And then just from there, pay attention and watch out for the, look out for the synchronicities.

[00:39:48] Um, and then from there, life gets, life gets a lot more fun and enjoyable when you recognize how things are happening for you. Um, and the universe, and you start to see, recognize how the world talks to you. It's really cool. I love that. It's a beautiful way to end. Thank you so much, Graham. And such a great reminder for the audience to be in that place of how is this happening for me? It's the world. Thank you again so much for having me. Oh, I apologize. I didn't mean to talk about it.

[00:40:15] That's okay. I was just going to say the world is a much happier place to live in when we can live in it from that perspective. Absolutely. I really appreciate you having me. I appreciate your work as well, because it takes creating, ushering in this next evolution of humanity is going to take a village. It's not about one person having the right answer. It's about all of us coming together as community to create the, the volume and the infrastructure that's needed to, uh, provide meaningful and

[00:40:41] sustainable change. So exactly. Exactly. Thank you for all that you do. You are most welcome. And thank you to my audience for tuning in each and every week with that curiosity we talked about earlier, that desire to learn, to know more, to understand your own mind, your own body and your own healing journey.
