WSC Intro/Outro: This is when spirit calls, and you on your journey are in the right place. This show is about magic, miracles, and meaning shared through stories, interviews, and channeled messages. We have so much to share about who you are and your divine mission here on the earth. Let's get to it when Spirit calls is right now.
Speaker:Rev. Rose Hope: Our guest on the show today is Elizabeth M. De Rivera. Elizabeth is a free spirit, somewhat rebellious and indomitable, born and raised in Paris, France, where her parents emigrated from Spain, it was ruled by a dictator until the 60s. Elizabeth loves language and playing with words, so her original purpose was arts and humanity. However, she ended up studying physical therapy in New York, driven by her need to help others heal. Years later, her new passion in education led her to English and French in Madrid and Spain. A keen reader since childhood, enthralled by the power of magic, supernatural abilities, and medieval heroes, she has always delighted in fantasy books and movies, which inspired her to write her own epic fantasy saga called Drakayo. She thrives helping others and has created an intensive program designed for HSP, highly sensitive people and empaths to guide them towards real and lasting transformation. For those who wish to delve deeper, she offers magical in-person retreats in Spain and France. Please help me welcome Elizabeth to our show. Oh, hello everyone, and welcome to this episode. I just absolutely love this guest that I am about to have a conversation with. Elizabeth is here with us. Hi, Elizabeth.
Speaker:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Hi, Rose. I'm delighted to be here myself.
Speaker:Rev. Rose Hope: I can I can feel it. I can feel it already. And and that's one of the things that you know when we first had our very first interaction, our first meeting, first experience together, you know there was such a warmth that just oozed out of you, and I just felt so safe and so loved and so nurtured in your presence. So I wanted to share that to get us started as we dive into a bit more of your story because you have this creative genius magic to you, and you have been writing stories and and books, and I'm so excited to share with our audience that that story behind all of this and what really got you to the place that you're at now, and how you're helping to shift this beautiful vibration of the planet, so would you would you warm us up and tell us a bit about your story and and where this all came from?
Speaker:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Okay, well, I was born and raised in Paris, in France, because my parents are Spanish from Spain, but there was like Franco, the dictator, was there, and my father was not too keen with dictatorships, so he moved to France, and that's where I was born and raised there. But we always connect. We were always had the connection with Spain. We came every summer, so it's like that's why I'm bilingual. Like like I mean, I studied all my schooling was done in France. University was done in New York, though. So I've been traveling the world a bit, yes. So I've always been kind of like the like the black sheep and the weird one, you know, because like I was that I always felt like I didn't belong really, like I didn't know if I was in the wrong century, the wrong country, the wrong planet. Oh, I can I can relate. I'm sure many
Speaker:Rev. Rose Hope: of our listeners can relate to, yeah,
Speaker:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: because like I could feel things, I could see things, I knew things others didn't, and so like nobody else did. So I said, so maybe maybe I'm the one that's that's weird, maybe I'm the world. But I feel because that's fine. I mean, I said there's nothing wrong with me. It's them. They don't. I don't understand how they cannot see and how they cannot like feel what I'm feeling. So and at and at that that time I mean you don't have like the support you may have now or you know not right yeah plus there was a thing like I didn't know that I was an empath or I'm a highly sensitive person until like I don't know what three years ago that's when I found out that I'm high.
Speaker:Rev. Rose Hope: Wow!
Speaker:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Right. So then I said, "Oh my God, that makes a lot of sense. Now everything makes sense. All right. So then I discovered because I knew I was like very intuitive, but I'm also very pragmatic. So that like I was fighting like all my life. I've been like both sides have been fighting with each other. Yeah. But what I discovered is that my intuition is never wrong. So, like now, I decided my intuition is the one that's guiding me, and that's what I go for. And then I discovered that I was very intuitive, but I also discovered that I had all the clears, and I didn't know I had all the clears. So that, when I started discovering so many things about myself, like I starting to, I started to discover like how many blocks and limiting beliefs we have that we don't even know who we are. We don't even know what we want because we've been like brainwashed since we're children, voluntary or not, you know, like by parents, society, whatever. So then, since I'm kind of a bit of rebellious one and domitable can one, you know, I'm not like uh huh. So and so, I started to do a lot of inner work, and that was started real. I mean, I've started like when I was around 30 something, but then with the pandemic, that was like a turning point, because we were confined, we're locked down, especially in Spain, we were one of the first ones to be locked down. So at that time, I also had broken my arm and my wrist, so I couldn't do much. So you're stuck and you cannot do anything. So what do you do? You go inward. You have nothing. You can't. There is nothing else you can do. Yes, and that's when you go inward, and that you really like start to work with yourself, and you really start to. I started to go online. Also, discover some coaches that helped me out, and and that's when you discover who you really are. That's that's what I did. I discovered who I really am, and I've always been like very adamant with freedom. For me, freedom is number one in my list,
Speaker:and freedom not only for me, for everybody. I think everybody should have the freedom to choose. Yeah, and whatever is choose is fine. It's your choice. Even if you don't choose, it's still a choice, and it's yours. And I always respect that. You know, we may not agree with the the what we think, but that's okay. I always respect people's freedom as long as they don't hurt someone else. That's for sure. Yeah. So that's when I studied physical therapy, although I was going through art and humanity. But at the end, I ended up studying physical therapy because I've always wanted like to help others, and I had people that would used to tell me, "You are healer. You have healing abilities. I said, "Yes, I'm studying physical therapy. They said, "No, no, no, something else. I said, I don't know what they talk to humans. Like at all times to say, okay, I am an intuitive healer, but I didn't know. I just went with the flow, and I just like like my body worked through it, but I didn't like kind of accepted or said, yes, I am an intuitive healer. The thing that like people usually more than that, they used to call me a witch. Yeah, radio. Witch. Because how did you know that? I don't know. I just know. I mean, I don't have like an explanation. I just know there is no rational explanation for what. So I couldn't. There are some people. There are things you can explain, and also you can. And that that's one of the ones you cannot declare as you have them or you don't. I think everybody has them, but most of them are like, yes, even lying dormant or hidden. Exactly. Either because they're afraid, either because they don't know how to use them. I mean, there are many reasons, or because maybe they're not ready. Whatever, because yeah, when once you develop that, of course, you attract a lot of things, and some of them are not that nice. So you have to know how to balance and make sure that the only thing that you want is light.
Speaker:You don't want the other stuff, right? So basically, that's how I started. I've always been very attracted by magic, mystical things, and I've always thought that we have the power within ourselves that we don't have to look for it outside. You know, it's within us. So after my father died, I don't know. That's what the feel that I need to write. I love to read. I mean, I've been like reading was my. I was one of the lucky ones, I have to say, because a lot of people of my generation either when I went with drugs, alcohol, or they wanted to commit suicide. I never wanted to commit suicide. I don't know. I was never called. Never never appealed to me. Drugs, alcohol, all that. I was not like that kind of addiction was not my my cup of tea. When I was like stressed or whatever, when I needed to escape, I went to reading. Reading was my my escape thing. So
Speaker:Rev. Rose Hope: much healthier, much healthier than many others.
Speaker:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: That was like my having, my hearing. Yeah, like I feel felt like to escape all the because of course I didn't know at that time. But as an empath and a highly sensitive person, and I have a lot of energy. I know I'm also a projector, and I project a lot of energy. That sometimes I even now now I know not how to, but I used to overwhelm people because I have too much energy, and people are like a hard time following me. Yeah. So, but I do need my time, like you know, to be away from people to protect them and to protect myself. Yes. Yes. So really, was one of my
Speaker:Rev. Rose Hope: beautiful.
Speaker:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: That's basically what I. So I've read like a lot, and I always love like the medieval stuff. You know, the magical things, the dragons, all that stuff. I always like very happy reading that. Look, adventures, anything that's creative, everything that's like out of like what everybody does. Like somebody else does something something different. That I'm gonna go with the person that's doing something different. That's what appeals to me. And then at one point, I said, "I never thought to write. I mean, I was good at writing in school and university. Like, I mean, English is my third language, right? Yeah. And then, but I always got A's with my essays, even though English was not my my language, my literature teachers always praised me, and I said, and I love to write, and I'm like, like I'm good, like maybe expressing and transmitting when I write, but I never thought I would become a writer. It was not something I planned. It just came up, and I usually agree with with the flow. So after my father passed, I had not that thing. I said, "I want to write, and I want to write to help people, and I want to write to teach, not to teach them, to show them that they can be free, that they have a choice. But I didn't want to be like you know one of those books like to help, and no, no, I wanted to people to have fun because
Speaker:I think having fun is one of the best thing. You know, as Voltaire said, because Voltaire is a French writer that I really liked because saw he was really tolerant. He was really like a decent man, and one of the things he says, I decided to have fun because it's good for my health. Yeah, and that's one thing they have done since I was born. Like we were always like happy. I think it's, I mean, crying is not going to help. I mean, doesn't mean you don't have to cry. Sometimes it's good crying, but my general like thing is that I wake up with a smile. I go to bed with a smile. I say, yeah, and I'm happy. And if things go don't go that way, I say, okay, it's gonna get better. So you know, it's true. I'm an optimist thing, so that makes things easier. So then I decided to write, but I wanted people to have fun. So I said, and since I love epic fantasy and fantasy in general, I said I'm gonna write an epic fantasy book. And I said, okay, I'm gonna. And then I started to write, and I said, oh my God, this is going to be over 3000 pages. I think I'm going to write a saga because once I started writing, it just you know when I get pushed, it just poured out.
Speaker:Rev. Rose Hope: Yeah, that's cool.
Speaker:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: And I have a lot of imagination. I mean, when you read my books, you you'll see that I have a lot of imagination, and I just started to write, and I said, with this book, not only there's one thing I want to do because I like in the literature when you see women, usually they they like take picture like either they're weak, they're stupid, they just decoration, or they get the hero killed, and you know they or they're the villain. So now it's changing a little, but if you look at the rich literature in the past centuries, the woman was always like not really valued in any way. So I said, no, I want women to be empowered in the book, but not by debasing men like now they do it.
Speaker:Rev. Rose Hope: Yes,
Unknown:I don't believe that empowering women means to debase men. I don't. So that's what I'm doing. So the different thing with this epic fantasy. What's difference versus other epic fantasy? Well, first it's a woman writing. Usually it's men who write epic fantasy. The hero is usually a man. Here it's going to be a woman. They're going to be nice men too. Okay, the hero, like the main character of the book, is going to be a woman. A lot of women have a lot of interesting traits and very rebellious, but the men you have like also, and you also have the good ones, the bad ones, the gray ones, because I think it's not white or black. There's great,
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: yeah,
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: and a lot of animals have invented, races have invented, besides the dwarves and the elves, and what's usually in epic fantasy, and the topics. I mean, even though it's epic fantasy, one of the things that I've decided to do because I love to do that is like I'm breaking, breaking down, like tearing down all the cliches you can think of. Yes, so I'm having a lot of something like that, and one of my bad habits, like I told a friend the other day, one of my bad habits is to make people think. I love to make people think. So that's the book is a little bit in bad. Like I want people to be not to just wake up. I want them to become aware. I want them to see like all the potential they can have, and some of the situations that some of the characters are going to be living, that they can relate to, and they can see that there is a solution, and that they can come out of it, and they can heal. So, and a lot of my healing energy is in the book. So, as you read the book, you will come. Will heal some of the things even without being aware of it. Even if you don't believe on it in it, it's fine, you know. And if you want that, I can give you a spoiler. I'm going to give you a spoiler.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Okay, little spoiler,
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: a little spoiler about the book. I mean, most people that've been epic fantasy, they know what the like usually the story goes about. I don't think you've ever seen any epic fantasy book that speaks about the ablation of the clitorists.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Wow,
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: that's one of the topics that are going to appear. So to give you a little taste, like it's going to be, and maybe like the ones that are very pure epic fantasists. Oh, what an awful book! It's not you don't talk about the ablation of the clitoris in an epic fantasy book. I don't care. That's what I want to do. That's what I feel I have to do.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: So, would you say that you're trying to stretch people out of their comfort zone? Because even you saying that, I even felt like oh, a little bit of a contraction in my in my body, and I think that there's these experiences that are not talked about, that are not held in respect or reverence. You know, things that have happened in the past that continue to happen even to this day. And so it sounds like you are writing this beautiful, fun, epic fantasy, but also raising that deeper level of awareness, shifting people as they're learning and understanding from a different perspective, perhaps exactly, and see that there
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: is a way out of like the so-called tradition. We have to follow tradition. I mean, okay, if the tradition is good, yes, but if the tradition is bad, hurtful, and it's killing people, and that's not a good tradition. You have to get rid of it, you know. Like in Spain, also we had a tradition like to throw the goats out of the the the bathroom of churches. Oh yes, that's really nice, right? That's a lot of fun. No, it's not. So that's something for is being rid of. We still like have a hard time with the bullfighting stuff, but the thing, like to you know, to have fun, like with the pain of others, I don't see what personally. I don't find fun with the pain of others. So I don't. So, but I'm not judge, and I don't want like to be judgmental. I mean, like I say, everybody chooses whatever they want. But what I want to see is like people to be aware of what's going on, and then decide if they want to think about it or not think about it. That's fine. I mean, you know, I'm not forcing anybody to do anything. Basically, I want them to keep them entertained. Basically, I want them to have fun. If they have had the fun reading it, as I'm having writing it, I got it. If I can help one person,
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: yeah,
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: I'm happy. You know, my purpose is like to help because I thrive helping others. That's why I also like I've created like a retreat for highly sensitive and empaths.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yes,
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: they can have the tools that I didn't have and help them because it's not a curse. You can say, "Oh my God, I'm cursed. No, you can. I mean, turn that idea of it being a person. No, it's not. It's a blessing. You can do so many things,
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: so many amazing things. Yes, indeed. Yes, indeed.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: And so the healing starts with oneself. I mean, you cannot pretend to help and heal others when you're not. You know, when you're not, when you're in a bad place, it's very difficult to be able to help others or clear anything, you know. Like one of the sons of Michael Jackson said, "If you want to change the world, look in the mirror. So you have to stop. But the thing sometimes is we don't know how. Nobody told us how because they tell you, "Yes, you have to invest a lot of money, like in education. Yes, but what about Personal education, like you know, they don't they don't let us. They don't want that. I mean, actually, they don't want us to be because I would love to teach that in school.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: That would be amazing, wouldn't that be amazing if that's what we talk?
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Bullying would not exist because it wouldn't make any sense because people will have the tools like to understand. Like I don't have to be bullied, and the other the bully will say, "What does that? What is that for? You know, but they don't let us. They don't want us. They're trying to keep us, like I say, in Zombieland right now. And my idea is to drag people, if I can, as many people as I can, from Zombieland. Yeah, through the media, social media, through like the polarization that's done, like trying like to hate people and hating each other.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yeah, the divisiveness, the divisiveness is palpable, isn't it? You know, yes, and
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: especially now,
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: age, age, age old tale though, divide and conquer, right? I mean, I'm sure in your epic fantasy, that's part of the some of the plot lines, you know, exactly stories, and so I think bringing that to our attention and and you know continuing to talk about it in a healthy way is really important. And you know,
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: sorry, go ahead.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: I was going to say about six years ago, I had the privilege of going to speak at Harvard, and when I was speaking there, I spoke. About consciousness, and one of the things I spoke about was that the zombie apocalypse was already here. You know, there are there are people who are you know what I call sleeper agents that are just just going through the motions, and that was not the intention for humanity. Our the divine intention, the godly intention was for us to have experience, and part of that experience is having fun. Part of that experience is challenging our thinking. Part of that experience is expanding the soul, the spirit, the mind, all of it. And so, it's such a beautiful thing to to continue to have these discussions because I think every time we do something, something shifts somewhere.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Yeah, and that's the thing because in the dark ages they used to keep people like the thing is like to control people through fear and ignorance. Okay, that's the way you're going to control people. Yeah. So and one of the the things that I teach in my in my retreat is like to let go of the fear. The fear that fear is the opposite of freedom. So that's the first thing I teach to yes is to get rid of.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Actually, can we just hang on that note for because that was really profound. Fear is the opposite of freedom.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Yes,
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: because that's so poignant. And I think, oh, wait a second, how interesting. So if I want freedom, but I keep going into worry and fear and stopping myself from doing the things that I really want to do. I'm creating my own jail, really. Yes, yeah. And
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: then not only are you creating your jail, but like they helping you to get locked in and well locked in, and that's why. And before they kept you with the ignorance because they didn't let you learn to write or read, and now people know how to write. Well, not everybody. I mean, I have to say, like sometimes I say, "Oh my goodness! But so how they they have to keep they have to keep your brain like frozen, like with like the TikTok, the social media. I mean, right onto what social media and TikTok, but you have to control what what you're watching, not being addicted and dragged into all that, so you don't think, and they do all that, so you don't think, because if you don't think, you don't cause any problems. If you don't think, I can still manipulate you, like can still make you believe whatever I want, because you're so stupid, stuck in images that really I'm not bringing you anything, and I'm not backfitting your soul or your brain or your heart-they're just like keeping you in the zombie land where they want you. So one of the things I say, I can't like how can I reach as many people as I can with a book writing,
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: yeah.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: And that's why that's like I think the main purpose because this book actually is a tribute to freedom and it's to honor my father because he was like really very keen on freedom as well. So, and when people are free, when you're free, you're happy.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yes, yes.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: You know, you don't care. I mean, I usually didn't care much what people said about me or thought about me, but now, I mean, if I didn't care much before, imagine now I don't give a damn what people. If you like me, great. If you don't like me, great. I mean, you know, I'm not like do things or think things because of what people are going to think of me or what people if they're going to love me or they're not going to love me. Because we are like most of us have been people pleaser because we wanted people to love us.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Oh, I. This has been my life story, right? My life story, and how often I self abandoned in order to please another, in order to do what I thought they wanted me to do, or be what I thought they wanted me to be, and I spent much of my life in that space.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Most of how did that come in? So
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: here's the question: Then, how did you break free from that? And I and I will add. I want to add before you answer that that I know that I'm getting a bit more firm in my boundaries as I I reach a certain age and go through this you know hormonal shift that I'm going through with perimenopause. But you know, I feel like I am getting a bit more firm and a little bit maybe more spicy too. Where I I also don't care as much. However, I still find that it comes in. And so, what technique or tool do you suggest to help
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: us get out of that? Yeah, tools that that I think might help people. The first thing is like when you realize that no matter what you try or hard you try to please people, they are never pleased anyway. And my father said, "You might do maybe of out of 100 things. You're going to do 99 great, perfect things. You're going to do. You're going to make one mistake, and people are going to remember for that mistake. They're not going to remember you for the 99 great things you didn't do that. That's the first thing. So no matter how hard you try, people are not pleased, so I said, "Okay, you know what? Now I'm going to do what I really want to do, and at least there would be one person that would be happy, which is me. That's one thing, and then the other thing, which I think is like the magic key, is starting with self love." And I started with self love, more or less, at the same time when I discovered that I was an empath and a highly sensitive person, which was like two years ago, three years ago, not many years ago. And then once once you really are in the self love flow, which is something I mean, you have some trick. Like I can teach you how to get there because it's like nobody tells you or teaches you how to love, right?
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Everyone says love yourself. What does that look like? What does that? How do I do that? How do I do that? Yeah.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: So once you learn, it's just like something clicks, and you say, you know, they don't love me. I don't care. I have enough love within myself. You know.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yeah. Yeah.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: And so, and not only that is when you start with self-love, then the love you can like give away is much greater as not
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: internet.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: And the other thing I think, which is very important, is no expectations. When you have no expectation, whatever comes to you is a gift.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: That's right.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: And gratitude is one of the things that are so powerful because whining and complaining is like we're always whining and complaining. I say happy and one of the things that I wrote in a post once is the key for happiness is like being grateful and enjoy what you have and not whine for what you don't have. That's the key of happiness and enjoy every moment. There are people that say because there are so many limiting beliefs and so many blocks around, people say you cannot be happy 100% of the time. I say, says who? Who said that? You know, and people believe it that you can. Yes, you can be happy. I mean, you're gonna have maybe people are gonna be happier because something great happened. But you like like when you wake up in the morning, you're grateful and you're happy that you're alive. You're healthy. Okay, everybody. We all have our baggage and our little things that we have to work with. But I mean, look at the sun. Look at like and some people when you have if you have like going to nature, like the little things, your pet, your friends, your you have so many things. Enjoy like even sitting like in a tennis and having like a coffee with a friend and having a nice chat, enjoying that. Don't think of oh my god if I could do this if I could have that and I'm not making enough money and I don't have money and and nobody loves me and my goodness that's I mean you know what I'm so sick of the drama I mean no drama out that's it that's it you don't you don't because you keep feeling drama, drama, drama. No, no. You have to change that. Yeah. No. I know it's not always easy, and some for some people is more difficult. And we all let me tell you. If I told you things I've gone through, you were going to say no way. You cannot be happy having like gone through to all that. Yes, it's an experience you learn from it, and you know what? Our body has the the ability to like put negative things away, so you don't get. And always, even if
Unknown:it was a bad experience, even it was like a really bad, bad, bad that make me so. You have to find one, even if it's only one positive things, yeah, that come came out of that, and as I said, maybe I had to go through all that I went through to be able to be here at this stage now. So now I'm able to offer more, give more, help more, be happier, really enjoy every single moment, and we we don't have to stay stay in the past or like stay in the future. Enjoy the moment, the present moment. Now, now you're happy. And if you're not, if you don't remember that, look in the mirror and smile. It looks stupid, maybe. But look in one of the things I used to do when my son was a child, when he was little, and he was like all grumpy and he had those tensions. I used to take a mirror and said, "Look at your set. And when you saw his face, I say, "Oh, do you think you look pretty like this? And I made him laugh. So make people laugh. That's the best medicine. It
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: is such a good alchemizer, isn't it? Yeah. Yes.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: And and and for good or for bad, I'm good at it. So so that's why there are a lot of funny situations in the book as well. There's like a little drama. There is. I mean, I'm not going to say like it's all a blank, like cozy thing. Yeah, it's harsh in some situations that really harsh, but you got a lot of like mix. It's a journey. It's it's fun. It's good. It's
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: part of the journey, right? Like you said, there's value in everything. You know, every experience, and my audience hears me speak about that quite a bit-the value in everything, and even those experiences that we might perceive as being awful, right? Sometimes those have the most remarkable, remarkable gifts for us.
Unknown:There is another tip that I may give you, especially for us who were were because I'm not anymore people pleaser. Is stay away from toxic people. Stay away, even if it's too many members. I don't care. Stay away from toxic people. If you have a person next to you that drains your energy, that whatever you're sitting with them, you feel so drained that you can barely breathe, that fills you with the sadness, that hurts you constantly. That's not love. That person is not loving you, so get away from him. I mean, him or her. Wish I mean, I wish them the best. I never you wish any any ill to anybody, but I want him away from me. You set your banner and say this person is not welcome in my life anymore. Yeah, and I'm not here to like you're not here like to solve everybody's problems. It's not your place. And no, like you have everybody has to work with their own crap, their
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: own stuff. There it is, or it's their own shit. It's true. Yeah. So
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: you may you may guide them, you may help them, but when you see that they because some people don't want to be helped.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yes, that's right. Or yeah, they're not ready. So
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: they're not ready, or they just sorry, or they just become evil because you have some evil people around, so stay away from those. Don't watch the news; it's not good for your health,
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: right? Yeah, what you feed makes a difference, absolutely. No,
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: I don't watch the news, and some, and sometimes I mean, you find out because, for example, we had the fires here in Spain that my mother had to be evacuated, so obviously I learned about it. Yes, yeah. So yes, sometimes there are things, but like all the negativity, all the hate, all all the everything they're feeding you in the news, which are most of them 90% are fake news. Don't watch them because they take you down. And I said it should be called bad news, not just news. They just bad news. Yes, you don't need that. That's all it seems
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: now is bad news. You know, and and it's so easy to get swept into oh this catastrophe over here, this killing over here. And I notice I notice the energy in myself when I catch those things. Not intend not looking for them, but sometimes they just pop up, you know. And it's like oh that doesn't feel good. And you know I think that awareness for each and every one of us is you know what are you listening to? What are you watching? Who are you spending your time with? And really take stock of the areas in your life that are heavy, dense, constricting that are actually robbing you of your freedom. Because as you said so beautifully, fear is the opposite of freedom, and so this inundating of the fear mongering, and again that divisiveness that we're seeing out there-it's all part of this bigger plan. And our role, our invitation in this is one
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: of the things I've added to the book as well. Is like some of the rituals and some of the things that I teach in the in the retreat, especially while like for example, you have especially for empaths and highly sensitive, but it's good for everybody. First of all, you have to learn how to clean your energy field because you have so many things that don't belong to you. That is not yours. Like thought, not only like energy, thought entities, because I see the entities, you know, and but I'm not going to go around that. Oh my God! You have so many entities.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yeah, yeah. That's again getting caught up in the fixer. Yeah, yeah.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: I'm never working with the fear to attract them to me. Never. You know, whoever wants to do that, I treat it. I'm never going to use fear to do that. That's right. That's one of the things I teach first, and you get rid of the fear. So, like, how to clean your energy field? How to protect yourself so you don't get those things that you get, even if you don't want. Like, even if you can feel them, but at least you can manage them so they don't like affect you because it can affect your health if you're very sensitive. Like me, it affects your health. Like, and it could be thought, could be energy, could be like psychic weapons, could be like energy vampires. Stay away from those too, you know. So, and then you learn to recognize, and you learn to feel, and to protect yourself. So that's one of the things. And a few rituals that I use also. Like some of them are going to be like through the magic school that's in the book. Some of them are going to be there, so people can also use them and try them and and and see. Even if they don't have the direct guidance from me, but they can have some tools. Because one of the things when I decided to like create the the retreat is like, I don't want to do a retreat like a lot. Like there is like so many like fake gurus that I call around. I'm not going to charge people for things they can go on. You know, I don't think that's ethical. So, and it's just not give information and give tools. No, no, it's like to provide real transformation. Yeah, beautiful. And because you can have a lot of tools, a lot of information. If you don't integrate them, they're good for nothing.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yeah, that's right. I always say knowledge is useless if you're not using it. So
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: exactly. Yeah, and sometimes you don't even know how to use it. It's not because you know. So you have to, yeah. Like how to interpret. You have to
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: learn. Yeah. Well, it sounds like you have so much wisdom in there. You've given us so many golden nuggets. I don't even know where to begin to kind of highlight all of them. But you know, you said some really beautiful, profound things that I hope you all listening can take away and and put in your back pocket so that you have an increase of your awareness. So Elizabeth, if people are you know wanting to find out about your book, what's the next step for them if they want to?
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: The best thing is to go to my website.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Okay, and that is in the show notes for everybody, so you can simply add.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: My website, and then actually you can go to the Readers Hub. In the website, there is one one that's the Readers Hub. That usually, in that case, like matches the newsletter. I usually send one newsletter a month because I hate slamming. Me too. I'm with you. So I usually send one newsletter. It's never about me really because I'm not important. What I think what I want people to know about is the book, the story, and the Dracula saga. I mean, if you want to know about me, we can have a drink or copy chatter. I can tell you whatever you want. But the the website which I created, and I'm very proud because it's not my area of expertise. But I think I did a good job. I created everything on it, and the readers had had like some of the things, like you have like some riddles, some games, some things like that. Beautiful. So this month, for example, I called it like I gave a choice of a cover for the book that's coming up, which is going to be the prequel. Which actually, so you know how my brain works. It started to be the prolog of the book, turned into four chapters, then seven, then nine. I said, well, I might as well do the prequel. So yeah, because when I start writing, like I don't know, I'm possessed by the muses or whatever.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yes, it just takes over. Well, you know, there's some some cultures that believe that creativity is of God, and so beautiful oracle of God as you express yourself into your books.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Thank you. So they can join like what's in well by September will be over, but I can create a new one, which is like this one that I did. It was like add smiling face, so I give you a few hints to add smiling face, and whoever wins, who has more smiling face, gets the free book.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Oh, fun! Okay, so you've
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: so that's what I did this month. But every month I come up with
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: something different. Love it.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: Yes, and if anybody is interested in like in the retreat, I gift. I'll give you the link as well. A 15 minute oracle reading because also
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: a mini reading. Okay, beautiful.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: And I do it a little bit differently from other people because the way I do the when I want to do a reading for someone, I want to make sure that there are no healing energies, any leading energies, not even from the the person I'm really for.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yeah.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: So I do my thing. So that's what usually what I tell them. Send me the questions you want to be that you want to answer them. Then I like I do my my ritual and my thing, and then once I have the answer, then I I contact the person, and then we go over it, and then if things come up or things that you want to add, you still we contact. And actually, as I say, I don't really need the cards or the runes or the thing because it's like I just know. Yeah, but it's fun.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yes, and it is fun. Yes, sometimes it is fun. Sometimes I still bring out cards to act add a little bit extra, you know. So, and
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: another thing, another tip that I would give people like healers and people like us, like want to help. There's also like I said, freedom and choice is important. And I have to say, I choose whoever I want to work with. It's not like I just don't take anybody. For example, if somebody wants to do the retrieval, me because they're not going to get a lot of tools that are going to make them very strong, and they like their ego is going to blow up. I'm not giving you, I'm not taking you to my retreat. I'm sorry, I'm not going to give a retreat some for somebody to feed their ego. No, that's not the purpose of it. So there is always an interview prior that whoever wants to do the retreat. I mean, I have planned a retreat for May here in Spain, but for people who cannot move because it's a bit far, can also be done online. It's not exactly the same that in person, but it still needs
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: of course. Yeah, you can. Well, I mean, I love the idea of traveling to Spain. I'm sure many other people would. So, and
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: for like I said, for us witches, it's the country. I mean, you have so many witty places.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: Yeah, there's so much Magdalen energy there too. It's amazing. Oh well, Elizabeth, this has been a treat. Thank you so much for sharing. I can tell that you're so deeply passionate about this, and you have so much wisdom inside of you that wants to just pour out of you. So thank you for sharing a little glimpse of us.
Unknown:Elisabeth M. de Rivera: It's been my pleasure, and I'm really honored that she invited me. And I feel, and if I, as I say, if I, if anybody's got like something that make their brain click, I said, "Oh, wait, let me think. I won. That's my thing. That's your win, and you.
Unknown:Rev. Rose Hope: I'm sure you've won. Well, there was a few things that clicked in my head today, so there you go. So you've already won. Thank you, everyone, for tuning in to another episode.
