Family All Up in My Business - Jackie Simmons

Welcome back to Your Brain On Positive. All the love and support you need is residing inside of you. And we're going to make it easier to turn it off.

I wasn't sure whether or not to talk about this or not. Because I don't know if it's true for you that your daughter's if you have daughters or children or whatever. Is anybody up in your business?

My daughters are off in my business. Oh, my goodness, gracious. I have three daughters. Well, I have four daughters. And that's another story. So I'm going to tell you the whole story and nothing but the story. And you can choose to stay involved or not. The reality is, I bet there are people who are up in your business. And you're not happy about.

So listen to my story. It's happy and true. Though parts of it were very challenging, the outcome is really up. And that's what I know to be true for you is that your outcome is going to be really up. No matter who's up in your story. We often reserve that up in our story for people who are interfering.

In my business. My daughters are my biggest supporters. My youngest daughter, Jamie supports everything that I do by being willing to listen when I need to talk. And by being willing to cut me off when she doesn't have time. When she calls me about her stuff she starts off with

I need to vent do not problem solve. I call that clear communication. So my second daughter, my middle daughter, Jamie, Oh, no. Youngest is JV sorry, my middle daughter, Stephanie. She's all up in my business now. Because she was part of the three day event where I used to teach how to sell in seven minutes or less how to do how do you deliver a seven minute message that matters.

Stephanie lives here with me I was doing in person events. She coached the other people at the event, making sure that the onboarding went well that they showed up at the venue on time. And she participated in the exercises right up to the point of delivering a seven minute message that mattered on the topic of teen suicide. And it launched a movement to make teen suicide a thing of the past to actually build the emotional resilience in children so that they never needed suicide prevention, suicide intervention programs.

My third daughter, my oldest birth daughter, Katie, all up in my business. She was bored. She reached out to me and said, Mom, is there something I can do to support you I had just launched a live radio show. And she listened to every radio show, every rant, every conversation with my co host every interview with a guest.

And she apparently absorbed a lot because when I launched a coaching training program, she joined it all up in my business. She went from being my student to being my director of operations. She runs regular tech support calls for all of my students in the certification program. Oh my God talking about up in my business. People are like, I don't know how to do this. Then everybody is like as kts KVS Katie, oh my God, my business would not run and function without her on the technical side. And she's a brilliant coach. She can help people create stress interruption muscle memory, she calls them personal pause buttons.

She does this without even thinking about it. She anybody who comes in contact with her, does not leave that unchanged. That's my third daughter. And then there's my na At birth daughter, my everything other than daughter, and that's the director of operations of my company, Kelly Kailyn, you might know her out on the space as Reverend Kelly. And she's up in my business, trust me, she is the direct connect to all of the certification students, all of the people wanting to learn what she wanted to learn, which is how to help people erase trauma, from memory without getting re traumatized in the process. She wanted to learn how to do it, she convinced me to create a certification program. And the cost of that was that now she is in between me and the students who want to learn that. Yeah, Karma is a bitch.

So the reality is that I have four daughters, three by birth, and all four of them by the impact that they have in my world. So my daughters are all up in my business. And I wouldn't have a business without them. So when you're thinking about grumbling, about the people in your life, who provoke you require attention. Just realize, give yourself permission to take a deep breath and go what is so good in my life that I would not have without them.

And you might find that you shift from aggravation and frustration, into gratitude. What is it in my life that I love that I would not have without you? And the moment you start sharing that with them, the energetics in your life start to change. And what do we know money is nothing but currency. It's nothing but energetics. Joy is nothing but energetics. And so whether you are feeling like more money would be useful or whether you're feeling like more joy would be useful, or whether you are feeling like any positive emotional or financial state is lacking. Just start accepting that perhaps the people who are all up in your business are your fastest path to get what you want. Let me know what you think. Feel free to comment on this one.
