Welcome back to Your Brain On Positive. All the love and support you need is residing inside of you. And we're going to make it easier to turn it on.

We're going to go on a wild and wooly ride on the topic of AI because when AI first started writing, copy, my stomach kind of turned. And then I actually tested it. And I put in an inquiry in a AI chat, and got back something really insightful. And I thought, huh, then I heard the controversy in schools where college professors and teachers are being challenged by essays being written by AI. And I realized that we ever clash of cultures. And this clash was predicted in science fiction books that I was reading back in high school. So here's how I believe this is going to get resolved in the best way in the service of the highest good for all concerned. Here we go. What if? What if we treat AI the same way we treated Google and all of these online information platforms? The same way that back in the day they treated the Encyclopedia Britannica, cite your work? What if we help our students embrace this new skill that they're going to need going forward? Why are they going to need it because just like the telephone, and the cell phone, and the home computer, and the Internet, AI, is here to stay? Once you accept that AI is here to stay, let's look at how accepting it can be used to our advantage. What if a student turns in a essay, and there's their essay, and then they cite, this is the AI platform that I used to get information and why they chose that platform. And this is the inquiry I put in and trust with the AI platform, save your inquiry. So you don't have to remember what you typed into the search bar. This was the inquiry. And if they tweaked it, this is the Tweak I made. And why. And this is the results of that. So you have the original AI of their original inquiry. And if they tweaked it, their second inquiry, and then you have their essay that they wrote based on it, which is exactly the same as what we did. When we cited our sources back in the day, we got our information somewhere else, and we pulled it into something that we created. This is no different. It's just faster. And that's the part that I think is freaking people out. But imagine if you are looking to build the emotional resilience of Integrity, Authenticity, being transparent, then embracing this technology helps build those in our students. Why because they don't have anything to hide. You try to squash this. And you will be forcing our students to either walk away from the skill they're going to need in their lives going forward. You're also going to be having them push it into the shadows, which means basically, they're going to be inauthentic. They're going to be out of integrity, you're not going to get full transparency, and you'll be teaching them to hide. And our teens are hiding enough from us already. By the way, that same trajectory is true for managers in companies. You want your employees to be able to handle this new skill set to be able to create a clear inquiry. Why? Because let's face it a clear ask is a good thing, no matter what it is you're asking for. If you do any research into the law of attraction of the law of resonance, you will find at its core, a clear ask a clear desire. So AI can teach us how to ask better questions. If we let it become our new tutor, and it's a skill you're going to need. I guarantee it. So that's my reasoning for why we need to embrace this and the consequences of not embracing it can be very dire because you're pushing it into the shadows and nothing good grows there.
