Imagine a setting like this, you're walking along and you look up to the sky. And there's like a really a clear line separating the sky and on one side, you've got pure sunshine, then the other side, it's pouring rain. But you can step a meter one side and you're in the sun and you could slip a meter the other side and you're in the rain. When you are able to regulate your emotions, when you're able to find emotional balance. That's what life's like. That sort of energy. If you look at emotions from a dream perspective, it's whenever water comes up in dreams.

Unknown Speaker 1:52

And I had a dream and just like this, and it was about it was seeing it through the eyes of a client that we have at the moment. So I've mentioned before we do some joint coaching a colleague of mine, and they messaged this client messaged us recently and said, Ah, it feels really weird. Like, I just feel kind of, like I'm on I know there's emotions there. But it's not impacting me. I'm not I'm not 100%. But but I'm good to under describe this state that she was in. And what she was describing is this emotional balance. She's aware of the emotions, but she's able to choose effortlessly to stay in that positive place. And when you've done a fair bit of the unraveling of those patterns that are keeping you stuck those patterns that cause you to react in a certain way. Now this client that I've been working with for over a year now, and now we're working together as a group. Like me, she'd been challenged by anger with a partner with her children, and by helping you to see where that was unfolding, how often it was, her own anger was being projected onto other people, and then being able to have the tools to regulate on the run, to be able to stay in more of that balanced place to be more measured in the approach. Not just the impact for having that revelation of like, oh, everything's really neutral. But the impact that's had for her family, like her children are wanting to spend more time with her because they sensing the change. The relationship with their partners deepened because he's noticed the change. So it's interesting when we start behaving in a certain way, and it's consistent. People can gravitate away from us. But it only takes a really quick and short shift to be able to change people's reaction to us.

Unknown Speaker 4:11

We don't get changed by trying to force other people to be a different way. It always comes back to self. So if you look at how you're reacting emotionally at different times, and maybe there's times where you think, you know, I'm fine. There might be some other things playing out. So are there moments of anger that just come about maybe once every few months? Is there moments of numbness? When you're not really engaged, we're not able to be present. That's a sure sign that you're actually suppressing emotions. So that's an emotional balance and will be other times where you just don't feel quite right. Tiredness that doesn't seem to go away. It's all a sign of suppressing emotions. When we come back to this balance, and you're able to identify what's the awareness of the issue I should have the skills and tools about a process on the run. And you can navigate any situation. It allows you to step more into your power to feel more secure within yourself. Start taking your performance in all areas of life to a whole other level, because you're no longer concerned about where you might react in a bad way, in a way that might impact your performance in a negative way. I'm talking performance in in all different areas, from how you are as a parent or partner at work, if you play sport, even in the bedroom, right, all of these different areas that ability to stay regulated, to not bring your baggage from whatever's going on during the day or even from the past into any of those environments. The connection of the RV to build with the most important people in your life is going to be totally worth the effort required to start making these changes.
