You may have heard people talk about things like law of attraction manifestation. And, you know, we create our own reality and all these sorts of buzzwords and phrases and selling points often that that that's how you might read them out there in the social media world. We explain to you a little bit about the scientific version of that. So you got a context for how you can make sense of it. So I love how Joe Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about it, he said, basically we take in billions of bits per second into our awareness into our conscious awareness, we're bombarded with data with stimuli constantly. We can only actually process with our mind around 10 to 20,000. Now some of you might be thinking, Well, I have the ability, the capacity to hold a massive amount of data and they wouldn't surprise me either. So maybe some more than that. But we're still only talking in the 10s of 1000s. Right compared to the billions of bits of data you bring into your awareness constantly. Thankfully, there's a part of the brain that actually focuses on whatever context whatever content that we've consciously chosen to to focus on. Now, you may have also heard that for most people, they 90, something percent of the thoughts are the same thoughts that they had the previous day. And then the next day, then the next day. So they're just repeating the same point of focus the same context, and the brain just continues to search for solutions, or search for the same. So so that we can have all those billions of bits of data coming in every second. So that we can make the most of that and actually create the biggest shift. By allowing ourselves to bring more of that into our life, we have to give our brain better clarity on exactly what that looks like. Now, this is really basic, but it has been having a massive influence for my clients of life. And that is creating three lists around any particular part of your life that you care to. And the three lists are really simple. The list on the left is everything you absolutely want from this particular area you're talking about. Maybe it's a job, for example. So in a new job, this is everything that I absolutely have to have in that job. The list on the right is everything you absolutely don't want for that particular thing for job in this case. Man, the list in the middle is all of those things you're not sure about all of those things that you could be flexible on. And, and all of the different areas that could be in either left on the road common column, sorry. And what that does is the part of our brain that looks to bring in or sorry, process, the small amounts relatively speaking of data that we bring in, to be able to process it to make sense of that part of the brain then has a clear context of what to look for.
So it might be that you're at a cafe and you hear someone talking about have a role similar to what you're looking for. Or they could be talking about something that's some training that that maybe is relevant for that role, or whatever it is, it could be somewhere where you're just your eyes are scanning across the horizon, a newspaper, or billboard or anything where there's something relevant for that particular role that you're looking for that you've got clarity on, just, you're able to process it and bring it into your conscious awareness really quickly, because you've given that clear focus. It's why when you have a, say, a car that you want to drive, that you're able to see them everywhere. For me, the big one is, when my wife was pregnant, suddenly, there's pregnant women everywhere. Well, where are they gone now? Because I don't see them anymore. was, that was my conscious awareness at the time. So the clearer you can get, the more your brain will find what it is you're focused on. And sometimes it will feel like magic, because opportunities will seemingly fall into your lap. Like, like magic. So one of my clients recently did this process within weeks had this role that they thought was perfect, went for the role interview, and really well, they really loved them didn't get the role. Disappointed, because he thought that everything was going their way. So when we went back to the list and said, Well, did it have all of those things that you had to have? No, it was missing a couple of things. Okay, cool. refine the list. Again, what else needs to be there? What else did you notice about that job that you were probably going to tolerate that maybe you shouldn't have, and maybe something that it had there that you didn't really want, did it again, another job opportunity within weeks, same process, loved it, missed the job, same process, refined some more refined some more now was their ability to stay balanced through this knowing that they were heading towards something better, even when they missed out. Because that's what their brain was allowing them to do that. Then they landed the third opportunity, which was absolutely perfect for them in a location they were hoping to move to anyway. And it was perfect. And they started that job just this week. Amazing, right? Like magic. Now, a new client recently I sent her. I said the same process to and their first session, and I have worked with them before they've come back to me, Oh, you've done it again. I'm like, Well, what have I done now? I think I've done something bad years. You know, we talked about work and I haven't got opportunities. My boss says to me, I want you to apply for this job. So first time in 10 years, his boss said I want you to apply for this promotion, just like that. Just by having him that gives him that clear focus. And like I said, sometimes it feels like magic, but instant results. So get writing, get clarity, and use the science of attraction to let your brain do all the magic to invite in more opportunities into your life.
