I know the power of this word, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it.
You will have heard me talk a lot about planning. And a couple of weeks back, I talked through a process around how you actually go about your planning some steps around that. So important to also review what has been daily, weekly. And at this time of year yearly, look back at all that you set out? And have an honest conversation with yourself. How did you go? What did you do? Well, what do you not do? So well? What was some of those goals that you ticked off that you'd been wanting to tick off for a long time? What were some of those things that you didn't even know you wanted to do? But you also got done? What were some of those things that surprised you that you managed to accomplish that you did get to that just popped out of nowhere, and they were done and the fulfillment you got from that. So important to pause and review. To celebrate. Because when you do that, you get a momentum. The brain loves that feeling. And loves the dopamine hit, have that sense of fulfillment when we look back at everything we have achieved. And it will help you find more, it wants to find more of it, the unconscious mind will search out and find more opportunities for success. Because success is contagious. But so is the lack of success. So the more you focus on the good, you'll get a spiral of more good from that basic journaling process that I talked to you about war many weeks ago, alright, just finding that one win for the day, or that something special that something wonderful gonna happen. Your unconscious mind will want to find more of it. And consciously you want more of it. Do you review at this time year, look back at what you'd played. have an honest conversation. So that means also looking at those things that you could have done better. Reflect on what went really well. And you'll find that you'll just have this desire to do more to find more to be more and an honest conversation about what didn't go so well. It's important to because if you want to improve, we've got to look at areas where we could have improved. So if you're looking back at your last year, and you're realizing that there might have been some gaps, there might have been some leaks. There might have been some time where you weren't getting the best out of yourself, there might have been some bad habits that showed up. Just as important to reflect on those things that you know that you could do better. And then when you identify those things that you could do better you think about all okay, what will I put in place to make sure that I do do better that next year? What needs to be there? Do I need to have more structure? Do I need to have a better plan? Do I need to have support? Do I need to have guidance? Do I need to be healthier? Need to exercise more? I need to eat better? Do I need to meditate? Do I need to learn to switch off and relax? Do I need to let go of some stuff. You can start to see now how important the review is because it's it's this is big stuff but it's for big results to to take the time now. Take the time to invest in yourself more. Give yourself this time to review before you start planning for your next year. Or even if you have started planning for next year. Take the time to review so that you can take even more positive energy into 2023 and make it your absolute best year.
