I know the power of this word, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it.
Sometimes when want to get help in an area, you want to make sure you've got everything in order before you do because of concern of people that you ask for help judging or thinking anything about where your situations what it's like and where you're at in the world. And I've been guilty of this myself, I've I've delayed in certain areas when I should have been getting help, because I wanted to solve some things on my own. Now there is value in that absolutely. And you can solve things on your own. And you'll get a lot of, you'll get a lot out of that a lot of satisfaction. But it's also a waste of time, and then also slow you down. And if you want to, if you're in a hurry, and you want to make the most of your life, because let's be honest, we don't truly know how many hours and days and years we have left on this planet. I want to jam as much into my life as possible. And if you had sort of personally you want to make the most of your life, you want to leave a legacy for the important people in your world. Well, then, what's your time worth? So one of the fears around that may be this fear of judgment, what will they think? And the amount of times people have said to me, Oh, this is gonna sound insert your, whatever your favorite description is, this is gonna sound stupid, or this is gonna sound dumb, or this is gonna sound bad. You forgetting the reason that people like myself and other people who have service roles, why we got into it in the first place. Because it's bigger than the business. It's because you want to help people. It's because we've gone through struggles in a certain area. And we don't want anyone else to go through that. So when someone presents that they've got something going on, we don't look at it like, ah, gee, X, Y, Zed is what you shouldn't be doing. It's like, you sound like you're human. And you've had some challenges. And you've had some behavior patterns that haven't been helpful. And Haven't we all, everyone has got different challenges, everyone has had different things that have happened along the way. But those people in the service industry, particularly those people who prioritize their, their sense of purpose, their sense of giving back above everything else, then you know, you're not going to get judgment, you're going to get understanding, you're going to get empathy. And you can get strategy to move through it without judgment. So if you're in that position now, where you're thinking, I need to act in a certain area, but I want to get everything in line, that will never be the case, things never be perfect. And you absolutely won't ever be in a place where you just think everything is exactly where it needs to be. Because life's not like that. There will always always be something. If me, I hope that's always the case, I want to be always improving in different areas. So you want to speed up time, then invest in yourself. If you want to take the easy route and be comfortable within invest in other areas, which will actually slow you down. They will actually might feel comfortable. But are they going to leave you feeling fulfilled? Are they going to be a sense of satisfaction? are they actually going to bring some excitement and some challenge and some joy into your life? Time? We do not have an unlimited supply of time. It's finite. So how much do you value time? How important is time to you?
And that'd be the question I'll leave you with.
