Welcome to captivate and close. I'm Kinsey Machos, business consultant and marketing strategist. And I'm going to show you how to attract and enroll high paying clients using my break through online marketing strategies, all without having to rely on complicated funnels, disingenuous clickbait, or spammy sales tactics. These are the messaging marketing and selling secrets that virtually no one is talking about. So let's dive in.
Hey, you, welcome back to another episode of captivate and close, it's so good to be here with you today, I hope you're having such a good week, we're a full blown summer here. And this the best summer life art that we've ever had. And I sort of there's a lot of unique experiences that I've had just in the last month or so that I think you would really resonate with. And so been trying to figure out like a way to share it. So that it's meaningful, and that it that it's resonating with you, and so more to come on that. But ultimately, you know, our motto, really, truly is to build a business that does provide to you, right, and that you aren't providing to it. And so I think summer, in just the short amount of years that I have been an entrepreneur, I learned that summer is really good opportunity to take a look at that. Because most likely, if you're like me, right, you have kids home hours, you know, or you're traveling more, or whatever it is most likely you're just working less. And so there's a couple of things that can pop up for you. For one, it's like some opportunities for productivity maximization. Also, you really been able to create more with the increased distractions, right, and we talk about this actually in poolside profit plan, which you can go there now and register for upcoming five day challenge we we show you how to do these things will include the link in the show notes. But another thing that summer does highlight is do you have the flexibility to step away from your business and also have it grow? So it's a really good chance for you to really evaluate, like, what are you spending your time on, I would be willing to bet just based on the work that we do with our clients that the majority of what you're doing actually does not need to be done. And especially if you are you know, growing to 100k, there's very little that you should be doing that's going to get you that result. And even after that point, and if there's anything that I've learned in scaling to a million, it's that the more complex you make things, the worst things become. And it's never about making things more complex. And I've had to learn that the hard way. But all that to say I hope you're having just a very playful season. Because that's what summer is for. Now, let's talk about something that is on my heart as of late and what it means to build an impact driven coaching business. Okay. And there is a lot of misconceptions about what's required to grow a coaching business, one that drives impact. And if you know go back to even, you know, speaking of doing things that don't yield results, this is where we get into sort of what actually matters and what does not matter. And at the end of the day, we have to start with the why in the what. And ultimately, I would be willing to guess that you did not start a coaching business, to be chained to your desk, chair chasing algorithms, the latest tactics,
Kinsey Machos:analyzing your insights on Instagram, worrying about the number of followers you have, you know, like throwing up content just because you were told to throw content I would be willing to bet you did not start your business to do those things. And yet all we hear and see in the industry at large. And also people that come to us because they've been taught this too is get more followers, get a bigger audience, get more email subscribers, create content that's engaging, monitor your likes, monitor your comments, right, create content that's viral, this is all over the place all over the place. And it's really important to take a step back from that because because those things do not drive impact. And there is a difference in growing or you know, Band Aid approaching a business that's based off vanity, versus really creating an impact driven coaching business, an impact driven coaching business is actually a vehicle for change. It is changing the lives of your clients. And what's cool about this, when you think about an impact driven business, it's not just about the life that you change, right of that client, or those clients. It's the ripple effect that occurs when they're changed what happens to the people around them, right, what happens to their families, what happens to the, their, their co workers, what happens to their friends, right, they're changed. And then you have this ripple effect. And that is something to strive for, when you imagine that ripple, like you are the initiator of that ripple effect. And this is how movements are created and started. But you cannot get that when you are chasing things that do not matter, like followers likes number of whatever. And so when you think about the difference, even when growing an audience versus getting clients, you're going to be able to really notice, like where there might be a disconnect. Because if you're sitting down and saying things like I need to grow my audience, or I need more followers, what you're doing is you're just chasing a tactic that may or may not work, that may or may not bring you clients that may or may not really drive change. But when you sit down to work your business, and you operate from the space of I'm here to change, I'm ready to get clients, that is when everything will open up for you. Right, when you focus on getting clients, a you get clients, B, you get the opportunity to work with clients. See, that's when impact happens. And even better, even better. This is where you become prolific, right? Chasing audience and worrying about your followers and you know, getting a viral post out there is not going to help you become a coach that delivers high quality results where your attention goes, energy flows. And so it's not about the vanity of whatever, right? It's about getting clients, and I really want you to put this lens on anytime you sit down and are doing things in your business and thinking, Where is this going to drive change for me? How is this going to help me get clients change their lives and get more clients? By becoming a better coach, right? And so many people I know you know, a lot of you are thinking, well, in order to be a better coach and numerous certifications, I need more time I need more experience. I need more testimonials. No, no. Becoming a better coach is working with people more and more and more, right? And so when you sit down and you're like I'm doing things today to get me clients, and my efforts are getting clients and I'm not going to I'm not fumbling around with random things to hide behind the curtain because of fear of rejection or failure of people saying no to me, I'm focused on getting clients getting the yeses. Yeah, nose will come. But that is where you're going to see the most momentum.
Kinsey Machos:Impact driven businesses you guys are not created from the numbers of anything. And it starts really over here with a small the one human that you humans, the three right and then you start stacking that up against and now you have the multiplier effect. So really take the time to look at your schedule, look at the things that you're doing and thinking is this going to drive impact or not? If you're worried about your following, let go if you're worried about your number or the number of emails, subscribers let go these things will not be helped you become a better coach. They're not going to help you make more offers, they're not going to help you become a better expert than you were yesterday. They just surface. Focus on the things that matter. Focus on the heart, focus on the transformation, focus on the service, getting clients is your primary responsibility. Let go of all the other things that you might be really paying attention to. So I hope that resonated with you, I hope that you can really create that momentum for yourself so that you can reach more people. So the more people see you for what you do, so that you're clear and compelling in your message. So people understand you and they want to hire you so that they're flooding into your DMS asking how the heck do I how the heck do I work with you? Because I know that's what's important to you. I know that's why you started a business, right? It wasn't to be worrying about what time to post and, and when you're going to get the most followers, right? So focus on what matters really drive that impact, and start working towards in impact during coaching business. Alright girls, until next time. Hey, you, thank you so much for listening.
