About our Guest:

Victoria Garcia Fennell is a San Antonio poet and activist. She is the author of three collections of poetry one of which won the Premio Poesia Tejana.  Victoria has been featured in the Dallas morning news the San Antonio express news in San Antonio current Backbeat magazine and NPR.

Victoria is a Mother, wife, daughter, and sister, Tia. She is an artist, educator, and healer.  She is a Guadalupana at St. Ann’s since 2018. For over 5 years. Victoria has hosted an open mic, monthly at Barrio, in the neighborhood in which she grew up. She is currently working on her first screenplay with the love of her life Taj James Fennell.
