About the Host:
When we are inspired by our own thoughts, we feel a true sense of joy, creativity, and the energy of infinite potential or possibilities that are available to us. Then someone needs a snack and the thoughts have gone. I am here to say YOU matter. My name is Carrie Lecuyer, I am an empowerment coach for moms with a feeling that there is more on their hearts and I want to help you reconnect and re-align with your soul's purpose and passion and remain a great MOM.
As a mom of two little boys who love mud, I have visions, goals, ideas, and thoughts. Sometimes they only lasted for seconds, and the rest of the day I spend cleaning up after my kids.
Over the past 20 years, I spent 15 years in a fast-paced career development and personal development environment. I have completed 26 half marathons, crossed the finish line at Ironman Canada, and became a mom. It has been the most amazing journey with so many lessons. I know for a fact that the moment I made a decision, clarity in all directions appeared.
I am here to help you connect with what lights you up, through 1:1 coaching.

Carrie Lecuyer:Welcome back everyone to soul inspired decisions, my name is Carrie Lecuyer, and I am your host. And I just want to share our winter solstice message for you. And because it's the it's the first day of winter, which is the shortest day and the longest night of the year. So it feels really dark, which is a great night to reflect and find yourself very still. And you may be looking for guidance or peace or you may feel blessed in a whole different way. It's a strange day, because there's just not very much light. So we have to understand that all is well. And everything is happening exactly as it's supposed to, with many hidden blessings inside that we will understand. But what we need to remember is that in this present moment on this, this day, it's for you to keep your inner light shining bright and crazy to look outside at the beautiful sun. Because there's typically a sun dog in the sky. And maybe this is something that I have just recognized throughout the years. But it's something that I've picked up on and look for on this day with the sunlight because it's typically there. So I want to welcome you to the podcast. And if you are here, it's your you're here for a reason, I truly believe that we are meant to find the people that we need and in the time, and you may be here for a while you may be here for a short time, but thank you for hanging out with me today. So the 12 last 12 months have been an epic ride as we reflect on our year. And we start to slow down in a sense, but speed up for the holiday season. So it's kind of a, it seems to be a very stressful time of year, but relaxing and quiet at the same time as well. So what I want to remind you of is that I can use mine and does nothing. So we have to stay connected and understand that we're here in this moment for reason. And if you're here to do some reflecting, then that's what I'm about to do with you because of what I want you to recognize is the thing that you have discovered about yourself this year, maybe you have forgot about it already our month was quickly, especially if we have kids and jobs and all the things but if we reflect past the last 12 months, what is the one thing that you have discovered about yourself this past year? And quickly it pops into your mind, reflect through the months? And then scale? How satisfied are you with doing whatever you did, it might have been hard, it might have been easy, it might have been developing new skills, growth in certain areas might be releasing some things and healing, whatever it was for you. What on a scale of one to 10 Was your level of satisfaction of completing that. Because we often forget to celebrate our achievements. And we move on to the next thing looking for that stimulation in that rise in our body, again, that makes us feel important and excited and happy. And then it's just something that we leave in the past when we really need to take the time to celebrate and appreciate the things that we have made an effort to do and create through our our year. And then I'm also wondering, what do you look forward to committing to in the new year, maybe, maybe you're not committing yet, but maybe you've got some ideas in your mind and your brain on your heart that you'd like to do and move towards in the new year. Now remember, there's no pressure on this. This is just getting the thought into our mind. And that's a great place and a great start for us to have because that vision creates a sense of a map. So on today we do It's gonna get dark real quick. And if you have the time to lay a candle today and be patient and just reflect on your accomplishments and land on the things that have went well for you this past year, and have a little bit of gratitude to words, each one of them or yourself or what you've achieved, and be grateful for what you have done and grow. And even myself, when I look back at my year use, I even think what what the heck have I accomplished this year, but I had to go through the months. And I have, I will share with you that I have completed I did complete a half marathon, a triathlon two triathlons, yes, for this personal development that I like to push myself forward on, those are the things that I have completed myself. I've done some internal healing, that's been a journey of itself, but I've taken some big action steps to heal some things. Some things that, you know, my family can't help with, my husband can't help but they're just like, long time, past experiences that, you know, build up in your body. And I needed to deal with some things. So I've done some personal healing. And then I've also taken some big steps in my business planning and creating and working. And I've been a little quiet with what I'm working on and moving towards, but I've had to take a completely different direction, because that's where I was just being pushed and called. And as I talked to many women, this past caution, even the last two weeks, there's the signs there. And they've been battered and flashed in front of us, and we choose not to realize or look or see, until this one small moment when we're like, Oh, I think that's meant for me. And then you got to grab it, and you got to go. And you might not even understand where you're going or why or it seems crazy. And the secret is to keep it to yourself. Because that's where the power is, it's it's you moving towards something that is truly meant for you, which no one else is going to understand. And if it's meant for you, it will align and it will align really quickly. So those little stories have been coming up in the last few weeks of women taking this new direction. And that's kind of what's happened in my world as well, just taking a little bit of a new direction still completely to do with speaking and talking and presenting and workshops, but just in a different path. So that's where I'll be headed in the new year, I'm really excited for it. I've learned a lot of new skills and appreciate the way I've learned them and how I've learned them. The little lessons that we don't know at the time, but we're there for a reason. So whatever you have going on in your life, maybe reflect on the little key moments that are popping into your brain, because your Higher Self God are the universal sources talking to you, and you're on the right track. And however you want to celebrate those little wins, celebrate those little moments know that they're meant for you. And what you have to look forward in the new year, don't put yourself don't put a bunch of pressure on yourself for the the new year's resolution, you know, there's you'll have a whole year. And as long as you have some visions that you want to move towards, that's great, don't put the pressure on yourself with first five days of the new year of thinking you got to do something, you got to make a commitment, it will come and if it's meant for you, it will just be there for you. And you got to grab it. And the key is to be looking and listening and sensing and understanding your vision and what you want. And the person that you want to be in your future and the values why is it important to you? That is the biggest question of all is why is it your family? Is it your kids is it your your personal growth, your health. Because once you know that, it will just happen, things will just start to fall into place. And you'll automatically start taking actions and you'll notice the emails that are meant for you or the books or the songs or the the whatever it may be the classes. So just take time to relax and sink into what it is we're celebrating today and for the next few few weeks is in the holiday season. But also remember to commit to yourself in the in the new year and what it is you're looking towards.
Carrie Lecuyer:2023 Isn't that insane? 2023 You know, 2022 seemed like such a long ways. And it came and it's and we're done. We're done with the year. And a great example I heard a couple of weeks ago to another podcast I listened to is we've been climbing this mountain for a couple of years now. And if you hike if you To climb mountains, If you've anything like that, you know that the hike up is it's a long journey. And you know, the goal is to get to the top and it's hard and you do all the things to get there and you stop and there's obstacles and but you get there, everyone gets there. But then you have to come down. So it's like we're coming down from what's happened in the past couple of years. We're in survival mode, or however you were handling, what was going on. And now you're coming down, and you're navigating your way down. And it's not easy. It's never easy coming down the mountain. But you got to keep going. So just remember, this past year has served you for a very good reason. Take time to reflect what it's all about. And honor your wins. Honor the things that you've achieved, you've discovered, honor the hard times because they taught you great lessons, even if you're in them in this moment, and just reflect on what's important to you and your why moving forward. So I'll keep this really short today. I would like to say, however you celebrate whatever you celebrate, enjoy your holiday season with such happiness and joy. And on this winter solstice day, just keep in mind that take a moment for you and enjoy the shortest day and the longest night with such beauty it's going to be it's going to feel like minus 40 Wherever we're at. So it's we're going to be enjoying it from inside for sure. But find guidance in and peace in this cycle of world we're in right now. And understand that we can embrace the magic of the darkness and just breathe the pen chill out and take a bath do something feminine light a candle, read a book, do some cooking and enjoy. Enjoy your time and enjoy the new cycle as it begins and we enter into it. Thank you for listening. Thank you for taking the time to share and message and follow. I've appreciated all the coaching clients and all the connections that I've made this year and I'm looking forward to a bigger beautiful 2023 and see what happens and and where we go. I will see you in the new year and take care.
