Hello, it's Howard brown. It's the shining brightly
show. Got a great one for you today, man. We just love here to
inspire. We motivate, educate. And it's just, it's just a joy.
So I have all the way from the West Coast, evolutionary evil.
Welcome. How are you today?
Thanks, Howard. I'm glad to be here. Thanks for
having me.
Oh, well, just a quick cautionary note. What's
your cat's name?
June,
June might make an appearance, we don't know for
sure. But if, if those that are watching on video, they'll know
it might see a kitty cat, you know, jump across the screen.
Don't get scared. It's all good. And we'll see if, if June has
anything to contribute, but we're not sure. I want to tell
you that Eva, and I just met and I want to introduce you to her.
And, man, she's just got an interesting life. And that's
what we love, interesting people that can really have overcome
stuff and what they learned from it. And you certainly have, and
so Reverend, even our she's the founder of the Elevate
Institute. It's a spiritual Alchemist. And she focuses on
removing the blocks to achieving longevity, and healing of
chronic illness for people that are in the prime of their life,
for professionals and, and people that are trying to really
make a difference in the world. But life is hard. Sometimes. She
loves to witness the character development of a person who
wants to grow and be better, make a better life. It's
awesome. So with that, okay, big intro. Tell us maybe something
that we may not know about? Yeah. What do you want to?
Most people don't know that I like to sail plane
glide.
You Do? Do? Do you need a licence? Or do you need
training? Or how do you do that?
Yes. And yes, while you're learning, you get to go
up with an instructor. And it's really fun and a little exciting
and a little bit scary. When you're up there in in the sky.
And I hear a little voice from my instructor behind me. You
have the plane, or I damn well better have the plane.
Wow. So that must be really freeing. You're you're
gliding over land and sea and the views are beautiful. Wow.
What does it feel like?
Oh, it's like being a bird, I would imagine because
you follow the thermals, which means find a cloud and and you
flow up? Have you ever watched a bird like a hawk or anybody who
needs that glide? And they go up and you wonder how they do that?
They're being carried out by the thermals. So find a bird find it
and follow it up and that it feels like it I had a bird one
time look over our shoulder at me. What do you do in there?
Well, now we know everybody knows about it. So
wow, that's really cool. So thank you for sharing that. Tell
it give us a little background of who you are and what you've
been through. And you've been through quite a lot. So let us
know what's going on. And where your where your background a
little bit more. Yeah,
I mean different depending on how far back we go.
It's, it's been a life of hard lessons. You know, it's been
jumping into the pool at the deep end with a big old cannon
ball, and then, you know, dog paddling my way to the sides to
survive. And that pretty much sums up my life. And to give
that a framework. I just remember being very sick and
very lost, very depressed in my teenage years. More so than my
call colleagues call me. They weren't colleagues, they were
students, fellow students in school. And that developed later
into other chronic illnesses that kept me from living a full
life where I had to measure my social interactions. So whereas
other 20 and 30 year olds were in state that whole decade
because I was sick during that time, 20 to 30 year old people
were out partying with their friends and having drinks and
having cocktails and enjoying whatever food they liked, and,
you know, meeting up for coffee or whatever, that couldn't be me
because one glass of wine would take four days to recover. And I
could not eat whatever was in front of me, I had to measure
what was in front of me. And I don't mean with a scale. I mean,
I had to stay away from and I'm Italian, I had to stay away from
bread, pasta, right? Thing, anything that was had gluten in
it, and I'm not celiac disease, I don't have that. So there was
a long drawn out period of the dying mate way too young, way
too young. And during that time, I also got married, had two kids
divorced, moved several times change jobs several times and
because I was chronically burnt out physically, the Jobs had to
stop and then start all over again once I recovered. So there
was a constant amount of upheaval in my life that I
simply didn't know what was going on and could not find the
answers with traditional means. is going to the, you know,
psychologists are going to the medical doctors everyone said,
there's nothing wrong with you. Wow.
So you know personally that something's not
right, something's not sitting well with you. And it's
affecting you emotionally and physically. And you're trying to
raise two kids, you want to know audio immune disease, and also a
divorce. So what you're still standing, you're here, you know,
you came through it, but boy, it was a tough time.
Tough times. And I can remember thinking and saying
to my friends, boy, I'm surprised I'm not an alcoholic,
like there are ways that we overcome diversity and not
adversity. And for me, the one thing that stopped me from doing
that was if something happens to my girls, and they need to be
driven to the hospital, I don't want to be integrated. Right? So
the sense of responsibility that I felt, I'm like, Okay, I chose
to divorce I chose to raise these two kids on my own, I need
to be responsible for this. And that's what drove him forward.
And every little step Willie was a baby step to make sure I kept
going because otherwise, there wasn't, there wasn't any
encouragement elsewhere. Well,
it's, it's interesting. So I write about it
in my book, is that what we all get knocked down in life and in
business, and in relationships, specifically, and me specific
and health. And I call that walking in darkness. Other
people call it other things. But there's a lot of lessons learned
there. But you don't want to stay there too long, because
then you might drink or you might become abusive, or you
might want to take drugs, or you might want to do some harm to
yourself. So there's real lessons to be learned there. And
that's the important thing is to learn those lessons, and then
come out of that darkness and use the light and walk in the
light and use the light from others. And so there's the theme
of shining brightly, right. But it's, it applies to everyone.
And so, you basically, you know, there's a lot of great things
that you are doing, you probably didn't give yourself credit for
raising two, you know, daughters is not easy for anyone,
Parenting is hard. And but yet you did it, and you sacrificed
for them. And so you did the best you can with what you got.
And now you've got lots of lessons. So you've you started
to build some learning. Tell us about your learning journey.
The learning journey? Yeah, it was this
discovery of understanding what I stood for. And I knew for
sure, I did not want to take drugs. I mean, I mentioned you
know, drinking alcohol was difficult for my body to
overcome. So drugs of any kind, I thought were going to
compromise my body too. And so when the solution provided was,
well, we should think you should take this antidepressant I went,
I'm not so sure that that's the right answer. Because what's
going to happen if I take this drug, and there's a side effect,
I answered me, well, about four, you know, three or four other
symptoms could come up, and you'll end up on for more, you
know, prescription drugs for those and then eventually you'll
become a ward of the state because you won't be able to
work and therefore you'll be taking Social Security
disability, and they painted this whole picture for me,
because why they've seen this. And I like people who come in
with chronic fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, depression,
fibromyalgia, all of these things. They said, We're
incurable. That's the path they end up being on. And I said no,
to all of it. I said, No, that's unacceptable. I want a life
worth living, for me, and for my girls, and for whatever else
that's ahead of me in life, because I know that this is not
all there is. And that understanding of an unmovable
boundary was the place from which now I could discover what
was appropriate for me. And I just kept having this belief, if
you give your body what it needs, it can heal itself can
come from anywhere. It's a very Eastern tradition, idea,
something that we don't learn in the West. But I had it and I
felt resonance with it. So I just kept with it. And it took
me a long time it took me 16 years of seeking out help and
pain relief and you know, going getting massages getting a
Rolfing discovering what could have look at help, you know,
what should I be doing as modalities to help my body be in
less pain, because when you have fibromyalgia and and arthritis,
you're always in pain. So 16 years of all of this pain, I
would not take anything that would just get rid of the pain I
needed to get to the bottom of it. And that was the discovery.
That was I need to find what feels that that goal, give your
body what it needs, then the question is, well, how do you
know what your body needs? So this is when I found the mineral
balancing work that I now offer and it made absolute sense to me
when I saw it, it resonated with me it fit that boundary and I
said okay, I need to learn everything about this
I want it the reason why I found you so
captivating and interesting is because I come from the other
side of it, right without medical technology, a bone
marrow transplant chemotherapy, I mean, the real science,
they're putting that poison into me. I don't believe that I would
be here today. And everyone has to find their balance. Now, I
will tell you that after now I'm in survivorship mode here, I
have what's called chemo induced peripheral neuropathy, that
poison burned out the nerve endings and gives me extreme
cold sensitivity and numbness and burning in my fingers and my
toes and my hands and feet. And I have, I tried the medicines,
none of them worked. They made me sleepy, they they didn't work
anyways. And I've also tried some natural stuff too. So I'm
still in the exploratory phase for that. But my my my one
medicine that I do take for my chemo brain, which is a form of
PTSD or brain fog, coffee. So that's that, that helps me a
lot. I have my cup of coffee. So but I just wanted to kind of
point that out and paint that picture, because I'm still in my
learning stage here now about alternative healing. Because I
did not come up through that, that whole funnel, and why when
you talk about mineral balancing, this is the lesson
that you've learned. And I'm so intrigued by it. And I want to
learn more.
Yeah, well, you're pointing out a really good
distinction that I don't think that Western medicine is bad.
And I just think there needs to be room for both. And for those
who think the only answer is medicine, in other words for
chronic illness and the things that I listed off, medicine is
not the answer. And they'll tell you that they told me that for
16 years straight, we don't know what's wrong with you. So when
you have something going on, that's more like what you're
talking about cancer, I would consider that trauma. So
something's cut off something has a serious disease. And this
is trauma care, go to Western medicine for that they know what
they're doing. But you cut your finger off in the middle of
making dinner, have them put it back on no amount of shaking a
dead chicken over your fingers is going to make the thinker
reap be attached. Right. And it has to be appropriate response
to the problem. So for trauma care, yes, for healing, you will
have to do something different. And you mentioned that
alternative medicine. What's crazy to me is in the Western
countries, and I mean, the UK, Australia, United States,
Canada, we all in New Zealand, we're all separating the two.
But in Europe and Eastern Eastern countries, they
understand medicine includes alternative medicine. And that's
how they treat their patients. You know, so it's a different
mindset is a different way of thinking. Yeah,
so what is mineral balancing? Mineral
balancing is the science behind the relationships
of minerals in our body. So I'll give you a comparison. So when
we get our blood tested, we are seeing the result of what is
high or low existent or non existent in blood. Mineral
balancing is based on a hair mineral test. And this is a
biopsy of your hair comes out of your head. And we're not seeing
what is in the body because I just said it's coming out of
your hair. The hair is the soft tissue, which is the result of
everything you take in. So think about what you eat, what you
drink, what sits against your skin all day long. It doesn't
wash out in the rinse cycle, all of that goes in. It's a big
party, there's no doorman anywhere that says you're a
toxin you have to stay out right it's all gonna go in I know a
scary, your body makes more you based on priority. It says I
want minerals first. But if you don't have minerals in your
diet, or in your air or in your water, guess where it's going to
do, it's going to replace that mineral with what is available
everywhere plentiful Li and that's toxic metals. So just
like a spare tire goes on a car that's popped, it's tired, you
get a temporary replacement. It also just like when a car if you
put a spare tire on your car or automobile, it's not going to
function as well. You can't make that U turn early as well.
You've come to a break in your car shimmies, and all these
things that we know don't work right when you don't have all
four tires. The same thing is true with the human body. So the
more toxins you have, the lower your immune system is, the more
likely you can't overcome viruses that you're exposed to
that kid that sneezed on you in the elevator, guess what your
body's just going to ignore and go Well, I'm gonna pack this
away and cause inflammation and other problems because I don't
have the energy to deal with it right now. So I just bring it
home like this is the difference between just looking at what's
in your blood, we test our blood, why don't we test our
hair. And there's so much here to learn about the body, how it
works and what it needs. And when you know what it needs.
You're now empowered to give it that what it needs.
That's cool. As I said, I'm a student here you're
the teacher and what it needs, I really appreciate that. And so
you call your practice the ascension practice, you've
started your own institute. And when someone when when, when
your clients come to you, where do they start? What do you what
do you start with in your practice?
Yeah, I bring in into a conversation, because
it's very often that a person has been playing the whack a
mole method of healthcare. I have this problem. So I'm gonna
go to this specialist, I have this problem. So I'm gonna go to
that specialist. Take their trauma care to a psychologist,
they take their pain to a doctor, and maybe they take
their sins to, to the, you know, the Reverend. You have, right
all of these different people that are involved, but rarely do
they see the whole body, the whole person? And that's what I
get to do I get to take the intake, find out what's going on
with the person, how are you experiencing your body, are
there physical things in the way and 100% of the time, the body's
not mineralized properly. So we'll get that going. So that
you can process emotionally figured out your boundaries
better improve your relationships with others, and
it seems to be a waterfall effect. You know, it's it's a
catalyst, we start at one place the physical body and then move
through because the body needs energy in order to process
emotion. And from there, we look at also the spiritual side, as a
medium, and psychic and every other label you can put on me. I
have so many gifts, I feel like I've gone through the Walmart
spiritual store before I became human, and said add store to
cart, because I keep developing new gifts and things like Soul
retrievals, ancestral wounds and healings. auric field clearings
I mean, you name it, all of these things become needed, as a
person develops more energy in their body, and now they're
needing to process wounds. Sometimes the wounds are not
from this lifetime. I know. So we can, we can develop things
that get in the way of our life, unconsciously, completely
unaware of them and try so hard a whole lot to try to reconcile
them for our experience and can't. There's a lot of anxiety
that goes with that. There's also a lot of anxiety that goes
with having too much copper in the body. So there's a bunch of
different things that can all lead to the same symptom. And
that's why symptoms are not your problem. So where do they start?
Start with the body, but it's a full intake, I listened to a
person for you know, we sit down for about 20 minutes, and I just
want to hear what's going on with you. And then I come up
with a, I call it a prescription, but I'm not a
doctor. So a plan forward.
I think it's fascinating. Because it takes
all sorts of, you know, Mind, Body Soul, and you just while
you got me thinking about past life, again, I didn't ever occur
to me. So I would call you a healer. But you're also much
more than that. We really are I mean the Walmart of of healing,
love that analogy. Load up the whole cart, right? But it's
really important, and you're helping people and that's that's
what I love is that you actually have real results that people
are actually feeling better living better. living healthier.
Right. And so give some success stories anonymous success
stories, of course. Yeah,
absolutely. I so the most recent one, I was heard
on a on a paranormal podcast about ghosts and haunted houses.
And one of the houses that had appeared on like a ghost hunters
type show. The owner called me up and she's like, I'm done with
all of this experience. Can you please clear my house and so we
spent an hour on the phone and went through and cleared up the
house. So she had someone had called himself in the house
years ago and created basically a hellhole type environment in
her garage to the point where she was fearful every time she
went and she just felt this fear and dread and sorrow like it was
affecting her. And she didn't know what happened. But I was
able to psychically tune into the space and that's just one of
them. We were able to clear that heal him and move him on. I'm a
fairy person to the other side of the veil so I can send people
off to heaven. There's all kinds of things that we had to do it
was layered one after another and we finally cleared it and
when we were done so let me let me put it this way when we
started the call has it how you feeling? I want to tune in to
you. She goes, I'm so scared. And I says why is that? And she
says because I'm home alone. You imagine always being so scared
just fearful when you're in your own home. So when we were done
has this How are you feeling now? And she's like, I've never
felt so I don't even have the words and it was really at
peace. She's never felt so at peace at home. She didn't even
have access to the words.
Wow, uh, Powerful. That's
one example. That's a spiritual healing, I do that
remotely. And that's very gratifying because it's instant
results. And then I have other folks that have been with me on
just the mineral balancing programme, I had a gentleman who
came to me could not eat, he was five, eight and weighed 125
pounds is way too thin, he wasn't able to eat food in so
his body wasn't able to process anything and he wasn't able to
work obviously can't work, you can't sleep he couldn't, he had
five children still does, that he could not take care of them,
couldn't make them lunches for school is really abysmal is like
the life was stopped. And he was panicked. And we started him
slowly on the programme, within a couple of weeks, he was
stable, and his body was now retaining food. And he was able
to eat more and just progressed until, you know, at some point,
he didn't necessarily care so much about, you know, the
minerals on his test, he wanted to know how he could now build a
better relationship with his wife because he felt better. And
he went from not being able to have that relationship with his
wife and all intimate relationships want to now being
able to and there there was a, you know, energy exchange
between them and now had to occur, she was used to taking on
the full load of the household and taking care of him too. And
so they're having to re trust rebuild. So this is where we
learned about boundaries, and how to, you know, empower
yourself. And so to get back out there, and I had to go through
the same thing for myself, like, at one point, I started to have
a greater sense of social interactions. And I, it doesn't
take me four days to overcome a glass of wine anymore. It's
like, you know, 30 minutes or whatever it is for your liver to
metabolise it's normal now, so the healings, whatever you've
had in your past, you can recover, the time it takes to do
it, when your body decides to do it, that's up to your body, it's
not up to us here. And that's what we need to get over need to
stop getting in the way of our feelings, but that's how it
works. I
will tell you that what's been really enlightening
for me coming through cancer once at age 23. And now, you
know, a 58 Is that actually recognising the totality of what
I've been through these seven years, and I'm giving it its
space, and I'm trying to, you know, emotionally, you know, you
know, really recognise what I've been through, the appreciation
is there, the gratitude is there, but the magnitude of a
near death experience of being told, you know, you have six
months to live get your affairs in order, again, in my life,
but, and I've just powered through, you know, physically,
and I'm repairing, you know, financially and also in
relationship, because, although there was lots of things ebbing
and flowing, there were some so strong relationships, there are
other relationships that actually had to either end due
to either negativity or for lots of reasons, so have to decide
and have the choice now whether to rebuild them. So I call my
process, Humpty Dumpty version three Dotto, and I'm putting the
Dumpty back together again, the old nursery rhyme. And so it
just shows we're all a work in progress, and it is all
interconnected. Well, I again, and now I've opened myself up to
learning, I have to tell you, you and I before probably
cancer, do we we probably wouldn't ever cross paths. And
now I'm learning from you and trying to understand maybe that
I have to let some of this stuff in. And it could change my life
for the better. And you have now proof cases that it does. And so
I should be open to that and I am and hopefully others are as
well. Tell me about your book and your both your books and
because it's really interesting that you're published and you're
teaching people Yeah,
it's it's interesting. A lot of people
want to come to the end of the of their healing story. And when
can I be off suppleness? When can I stop taking the test. And
then when they read this book, they realise, oh, this is a
lifelong journey. I love my clients, and I don't want to
have them to depend on me, but I want them to understand how to
care for themselves. And that's really what the story of owning
your beauty is all about. So owning your beauty is my two
step two prong approach to help with how I tried to attack it.
My version of I want to look better. So I'm going to go to
med spas and find out you know, what can I do to get rid of
these age spots at in my 20s Read rediculous Why do I have
grey hair in my 20s like these things are reflective of what's
going on inside and so this book ties the dots are connects the
dots between what's what shows on your body as premature ageing
and completely interprets it and shows you here's where the crux
of the problem is and how to fix it. So that's that book. Then in
healing medicine, healing, sorry, energy healing and so
medicine that book, I go into the miracles so talking about
the my awakening journey, the exorcism that had it take place
for me, and how I was trained by angels how to vary people over
from being a lost soul here and 3d into heaven. So those are,
those are the two books that I currently have published. Now I
will include your Amazon link, of course. And it's
there's fascinating because I've only just started taking a look
at those, but people will dig into that and see where it
applies to them, of course, so Well, I this is only a short
show, and I want to actually shine brightly on you. So get
your sunglasses, we're going to shine and put the shining
brightly spotlight on you now, because I want you to tell
people how to get a hold of you. And then you have a free gift.
So tell us about that.

listen to what's going on and see how I can help if I can help
sign up for that free 20 minutes is going to be at the very
bottom of the homepage. Start here on my calendar.
Yeah, let him know shining brightly sent you as
well. All right, this show always ends with inspiration,
give us a quote, give us a story and then kick it back over to
me.
Yeah. So I love the quote by Carl Jung until we make
the unconscious conscious, we will they will rule us and we
will call it fate. And I believe that that is the journey is that
we are to not only have the right and responsibility, but
the ability to find out what is in our unconscious mind so that
we can bring it forward and live the contract that we have with
God and bring our gifts into this world. Because if we're
not, then we're denying the rest of us.
I love it. And you got to start at home, lift up
yourself before you can lift up others and share that light. I
love that. So I remarkable, I said that part of the show is
selfish, I'm learning and you helping me learn things that I
don't normally know about associate with. And I'm open to
that now. And thank you, thank you for doing that for me. And
I'm so glad that that we've met and now sharing together as
