Loral Langemeier:

Welcome to Real Money Talks, real strategies from the money makers and the world changers that you can use to make millions. Keep those millions, multiply your wealth, and build your team. Here's your host, author of five New York Times best sellers, money expert on Dr. Phil, CNN, CNBC, the street TV, Fox News, and the view Loral Langemeier. Hey, this is Laurel and welcome back to laurels real money talks a podcast where we talk about money and business, how to make it, how to keep it, how to invest it. And most of all, how and why you need a team. A lot of you are Lone Ranger's and you're suffering out there you don't need to be. So today I brought a friend, a partner, a client, and Kamal was probably one of the fastest moving guys that came into the community, joined our millionaire intensive made money in the marketplace made even more money than next time. And just moved right into being a coach facilitator. And probably because he and I have a lot of the same mentors name is Bob Proctor. And he's been trained in Bob's methodologies and mindset coach, award winning author, he's got a book out called thinking into results. I forwarded the book and which is super, super fun. He's also an expert in business leadership, coaching, sales consulting, again certified by Bob Proctor spent 24 years as a professional management, get an engineering run, lots of companies run lots of teams into hundreds of millions of dollars. That guy knows what he's talking about. And it's time for him to be on my podcast. So welcome. Come on.

Kamal El-Rassi:

Thank you so much. It's an honor to be here, Laurel. And it's just a pleasure. Yes, it's just been an amazing year and a half being in your space in your community. And just loving every minute of it, these the speed and it just keeps getting better and faster. So I'm just very excited to be here and share some goodness with the listeners and your audience so that they can speed up and shorten that gestation period that everybody wants to get to that next level.

Loral Langemeier:

Well, I think that's so interesting. And what I love about your background is that you're an engineer. And so I always say, you know that the challenge for most engineers, and again, this is general statement, not for everybody, but engineers and military make, especially military because they're so regimented, Lee trained with, that'd be like the like, they're being told what to do. Right, you know, free thinking and free opinion kind of gets really molded differently. And you are not only just an engineer, but also you know, moving in business consulting, and now on your own, and being a coach talk about that journey, because I think there's a lot of our folks that are around the world listening, going, how do I get to do what you did, because so many of them, they've attempted over and over and over, you watch it. And they don't make it?

Kamal El-Rassi:

Absolutely, it's been an incredible journey. And it was at a point where 20 years in manufacturing space leading large team very large position 300 people reporting. And I just wanted to do more, I wanted to give more, I wanted to be able to help more my community where I was living, and also help support more back home in Lebanon and few kids in Africa. But the the employee income was not enough, like you are actually branded in a certain position when you're in a manufacturing job. And there's only so much money. So the only way to go further is you had to do something different. So it happened that I met our common mentor, Bob Proctor, and he said come out, you can do it if you want to. You can do it by yourself inside out. Now, for real, like I've been doing it by myself, I got these five degrees. And it's fine. Please like if you only speed it up, I'm here to help you. And I think many would resonate that you've been trying for so long to do it by yourself, that the only way it sped up in the last three years is by getting this amazing mentor Bob Proctor and from him. That's how I met Laurel. And by shortening this period and getting the coaching and not just getting a mentor actually following direction law, like the one of the things that I learned early on from you and Bob is follow directions. And so I decided, You know what, I don't know what I'm doing. I know what I'm doing in the business side when I was manufacturing making steel. But when it comes to building a business system, when it comes to putting a process in place, I have to follow somebody that has gone before me. And Bob gave me the mindset and you gave me the business system that thinking the affiliates and how you grow your network. The network is your network, but how do you do it? So by following that simple, it's simple, but it's not easy. And things started speeding up. And now just how fast do I want to go? So that's going to be going from a left brain engineer side to the right side drinking, being able to listen to understand and then I wanted to help others so I figured if I can do it coming home back from LA Lebanon country with a backpack with nothing. And I look out there so many are frustrated, so many are in this 6070 $80,000 job or 150. They cannot break through. I want to help. And it's just been a lot of fun, a lot of fun to grow this coaching business will you have, obviously to this next level and the sky's the limit. I just love what's been happening with my clients and my life, my family, this has been an amazing journey.

Loral Langemeier:

Well, and talk a little bit about the, I'd say the biggest changes, because you're just over what a year in our community. And I mean, you really skyrocketed through it. And there's a lot of clients that want to know, like, what makes someone like you more successful than some that have been here maybe for two years and still struggling a little bit? What have you kind of noticed that you did different? And then I want to move to you know, you in the business and what you do for others.

Kamal El-Rassi:

Okay, quite good. Well, one of the things that I decided that I was okay with taking a risk, I was okay with putting a little bit money up there and losing it, I was okay with failing and let go of that criticism, right? Let go of that what others are going to say about me, and so many want to do it, they're wishing and hoping, but they don't follow and they are not willing to remove that ego, remove that, or I can do it. And I said no, I don't know how to do it, I just gotta follow. So I took that risk. And I put myself out there. And I just wanted to serve. So the more I scratch myself that way, the more people are showing up saying I'm resonating with you can you really help me. And now you know, there's so many private clients that want this help, because it's the business world out there. And the coaching is so messy, and it's so crowded, and people are trying to help people that they are lost themselves. And it's just sad, and just makes me more fuel to really do it. But I do want to say that I did follow directions very, very well. I'm a good student, Laurel, I like I follow direction. And that was one of the major lessons from Bob. Follow directions. It's it's simple. If you think it's simple, if you think it's complicated, it's complicated. Follow that. And so took some breaks, really showed up, do the work, I remember the session with you on Ask the last, like come out, you gotta sell something, like, have anything to sell. They get it out, you got 20 minutes, I was like, and now you know, eight months later, we have a book, right. And it started with the one chapter that I came up with on the TMI event. And it we sold and then I started selling more of it. And people liked the leadership article, I wrote a bulletproof attitude. So I because that's what I wanted to get. And then people were buying it who are buying now the book is on Amazon is on Kindle is going to be audible. So really get yourself out there, you know, get that burning desire, fall in love with what you want to do and get serious. And then the other part may be discipline, I learned to build that discipline to give myself a command and follow, which is a beautiful definition from Bob, give yourself a command of forward and we have to just stand up for ourselves and be enough is enough, like 80,000 is enough. I'm not gonna do 80,000 anymore, I want to do whatever that 200 or 301 million really mean it make that decision. So as I did those things, things start showing over them I believe through. That's the thing you believe so it's growing.

Loral Langemeier:

complementing your belief is your confidence. Like when you start producing evidence, people say how can we are so confident you have no filter, because I've helped so many people become millionaires and multimillionaires have reduced their taxes. So with evidence from the clients, you get more confidence, which then your belief rises. And you there's it elevates. So talk a little bit about how you help people because I think now that you have, you know the the money knowledge and that the structures and systems from us and the mindset work from Bob, I mean, you kind of have a unique skill set that you help people with.

Kamal El-Rassi:

Yes, thank you. Thank you for that question. So it's very simple. So we have a, we have a like a three thing that we do, the first thing we do is we what we call a systematic study. And that's what we call the mindset. Most people don't even understand what mindset is. So I get them to really get the mind to set the way they want to set it like how do you want to show up? Are you an executive or you're an entrepreneur or your real estate agent? Let's get your mind to be in that frame. We build a little foundation, we call it systematic study, the second part of the elite level mentorship. Now what does that mean? That means you're hanging out just hanging out with me and the people who are in my circle that are like themselves to you become like those people, people here that you know, we become what we think about we're the average of the five people we hang around. So systematic study, elite level mentorship, so they're coming into a mastermind like a place like a group that's moving in that direction. And the third is accountability. My client says Come on, I really want to make the phone calls. I really want to have too many appointments, say okay, let him show me the numbers and then by the next day, third day, if I don't hear from them, I call them up. I had a client when I had to call it Every morning at 5am, because that's what he wanted to do. He couldn't do it. So I get him that accountability, systematic study, elite level mentorship and accountability. And then the success starts building that's not having one win, to win. And they don't need to be big wins. And I use the material that Bob trained me on. And I use what I've learned and what my clients are, I'm learning I'm learning, I'm learning from every client. Because there's a challenge with each and every company out there each and every entrepreneur, they have a little block somewhere. And I want to find it as best as I can to help them on chain themselves. So that's how we do it. It's, it's magnificent. It works. It works for everybody, as long as they've committed, right, as long as they really, I think you have a slide on one of your presentations that I just acquired. Are you interested? Are you committed? When I bring somebody on? I asked him that question. They already sometimes send me the money. They don't send the money yet. Are you committed because you can't just buy the material and become somebody you have to be committed? Yeah, we move on. Then they move.

Loral Langemeier:

So with those commitments, talk about goals. I mean, you and I both been very trained in Bob Proctor's goal setting style, a goals beagles seagulls. So talk about goal setting around that commitment. Because I think so many people just want a number like that when they come to me they want I want to be a millionaire. Well, have you made 100,000? Are you accredited at 250? Like, where are you at that can get you from like, I can't you there if I don't know where you are at? So talk about some of the goal setting strategies that you and I both been, you know, I'd say lately trained in?

Kamal El-Rassi:

Yeah, absolutely. Thank you. It's a very good question. And you probably some of you are listening, you've probably heard the C type goal, which is a very, very large goal, something that you've never done before. Most people would say I want that big, big goal, I want that $10 million home or $2 million home, but they're still having, you know, so much debt in their first home. So we do need to have a goal that's resonating with themselves that they want, it has to be something they've never done before, has to be something they don't know how to do has to be something exciting, something that you wake up and you feel I want, I really want to get that vote, I really want to get that plane, I really want to get that estate building, whatever it is. So we work with them for two weeks, almost just on the one, what is it you really want has to be exciting, cannot be something for your parents or your kids or your grandma, I get it. I love my family. But I want What does go for me first. So I'm a little bit selfish when it comes to that. And I get my clients to really find that desire, once we have that big C type goal that they've never done before. Alright, let's say it's a million dollar. But they really don't have the sales skill to sell $10 where the good. So we start building these bridges, we say okay, in 30 days, where do you would would you want to be? And we work backwards. 30,000 is 20,000. Okay, that's $5,000 a week. Okay, that's $1,000 a day, what do you have that we can sell every day for $1,000. So you can actually do it. And then we put a little plan, organized, intelligent plan. And then they get into action. That's the bit the best thing I found success with my clients and move them into action. It's not just information to get them to action. So we have a little step, it's like a little ladder, step two get to that big level. And once they get to that 10,000, it's easy to get to 20 Easy to get to 50 There is no way that somebody can make a million dollars tomorrow, if they've never done 900,000 or 500,000. You don't speak the language, you don't have the tone, you don't know how to write the contract about it. So I take them through these steps. And can they go to a million other way? Absolutely. In the physical world and in the supernatural world, you can is just how much belief can you grow very quickly to get there. Most people would like the systematic because the school system got us used to it. Unfortunately, it's like when you're grade one to grade three grade levels.

Loral Langemeier:

Well, and I think it's so interesting because people do stair step their success versus leap. And, you know, I know under Bob's mentorship and I've just, you know, been mentored by so many greats. I mean, when you learn to leap, and you go from hundreds of 1000s to millions like that, and it literally can happen. I mean, my best day ever my best 37 minutes, I think it was Bob and I did $1.3 million together less like in 37 minutes. So that was my mind blowing day like, Oh, I get leaping now like that was a big leap. So I teach revenue producing days, right? What are the things that have to make the money today and I know you've taken some parts of that and create a successful day. So go through just that reverse engineering of 30 days now down to a day. So what creates that and I'm gonna add two questions on it. So what what creates that and also what sabotage is that so you can have it all laid out. And then again, that internal sabotage is is See is stronger than most people believe.

Kamal El-Rassi:

Yeah, so that self sabotage is very, very real. So let's say it is, it is that $30,000, you know, $6,000 a week that just goes in, you know, six by 420. Let's call it $7,000 A week, you have to work it backwards, right? Yeah, you have to say, let's make it easy. $1,000 a day, what is your product? If your product is $500? You know, you have to make two sales a day. Alright, two sales a day. That means you have to make how many phone calls? You look backwards at your ratio of closing to closing 20%. You know, you need to talk to 10 people a day. Now, where are these 10 people? Well, maybe you need to message 30 people to get 10 people to say back. So that's the the training that I had for you on the system, don't on the numbers, right? Message 20 People see how many reply back, book an appointment with them, and work the numbers now, the self sabotage comes in where you don't set your day, right? You bring up all kinds of excuses not to make the phone call or another excuse not to message people. Now I put it on my calendar, I have my time in the morning nine to 12, where I'm working my business, what I call income generating activities. This is not meeting this is not studying. This is not just social, this is income generating, that means I'm reaching out to close a deal, I'm reaching out to serve somebody to see if they need my assistance. And I have it on my calendar. And I time it if it's a small deal, it's a small number of minutes, if it's a big deal, and it takes 30 minutes. And I do that religiously five days a week. Now the self sabotage comes in where your kids will need to help your wife need to help your partner need your help your boyfriend. But you have to say no, this is my work time. Yeah, you have to build that discipline, you have to build that muscle. Now, it's easy to say, but doing it by yourself is the problem. So you have to start joining these groups, you have to join an accountability partner system, you have to come to a community that's doing it. And that's what the training brings training brings you all this when you when you start connecting with the community, you start feeling that others can do it, that means I can do it. And then somebody says, Hey, I made a sale, then you feel I should make a sale. So you get that engagement right. Now, the third aspect to it is the self image part, which we kind of touched on earlier. Do you see yourself? Can you see yourself earning that $30,000 I teach them how to see you the how to talk is of that negative thought that good positive thought we get to get the negative out and be in the positive side.

Loral Langemeier:

So pause real quick there. So people hear that? I said, you said it. We all said it in the secret 27 authors. How do they really do that? Like the way I taught it, and the secret is, you know, my money comes resilient easily, easily and frequently. So I remember, you know, saying that isn't Nebraska Farm Girl. And then the internal little voice comes up and says You liar, liar, liar, you know, and then. So like it is a it's like a muscle dance of conditioning yourself to just atrophy that and strengthen what you're thinking about. So easier said than done. dig into that a little bit. Because I think people give that as a quick throwaway comment. And there's some there's some work to that.

Kamal El-Rassi:

There is some work to that. Like, for example, I wrote the affirmation of my monthly goal every day, 90 times. I just shared that with my clients yesterday in the meeting. And I write it and I show him the book. And every every week, they have to show me the little book where they're affirming it. And I write I'm so happy and grateful now that I read my what I'm what I want to accomplish now. Now what am I doing this, this auto suggestion from self to self is very powerful. Huge. And I do it, and I do I do them in the morning, when as soon as I wake up, I put myself in a state of receiving, I kind of relax. I'm grateful. I'm thankful and grateful for what I have. But I'm also grateful for what's coming to me. So I train my clients of how to do that to be in that receiving state. And then some of my clients that need it, they could do some mirror work where you actually stand in front of the mirror and say, I'm selling that this number I am earning this much this month. And I gotta say it enough times until you feel it with your goodness, not just kind of nervous and tight. And even some of them will go for a walk and say I can do it. I can do it. I can do it. So these are formations. They might seem like this out there. But they are so needed at the beginning stage when somebody is moving from an employee to a business owner from not able to sell to sell, everybody wants to sell they're good, but they're too shy about it because they don't have that confidence. So building that self image up by affirmation, positive self talk, having somebody walk through it with you and teaching you two things is phenomenal. And I read and write my goal everyday. Everyday. This is a beautiful habit. So in the beginning when I said three ways systematic study, that's part of it. And that's part of it. And accountability. You have to my clients have to show me that they actually doing the work and actually showing up because I'm responsible at the end of the day, they're going to say yea or nay if they got a result, and I want to be the results, so they're committed. So that's

Loral Langemeier:

another part that I do. You know, is was really was the premise when I started the company called live out loud. And then obviously, we changed our brand new denigrated wealth systems. But live out loud was in that same context of living it out loud, your goals, not just with yourself in these affirmations with yourself, and it's telling those around you. And for women, I can tell you that they're scared to say, well, I want to lose 20 pounds, or I'm gonna make this money because then if you don't do it, it feels like yourself. So you know, you're self sabotaging. When you live it out loud. You know, I think people have a misconception of yeah, if you're in the wrong environment, you have the wrong people supporting you negative people, they're going to kind of say, oh, you can't do that, you can't do that. Which then you got to actually get the most people out of your life. You know, you and I work, everybody knows you're the you're the sum of the five people with you, then why haven't you changed them up atrophy those negative people out of your life, and you should be able to live out loud about your goals, and how people support you. Because the the true live out loud principle that I started the company with, is I want everyone to know, you know, I'm going to be a millionaire, you're going to come with me or not. Right. And I would just start saying that because I wasn't in 1996 when I took on the cashflow game with, you know, Robert and Sharon, and then one day I was, but it's about that environment is so powerful that you need to be supported. And the more people you tell, you're going to be amazed how many people truly want you to win. Versus I think a lot of you come from these negative environments where people tease you or harass you, those they you have to move from that environment. What so in that context, come on, what do you tell people do because you know, and I know that that's the the ultimate failure is people who will not move from their environment of negativity. They just, they're immersed in it. They don't feel like and they call them and they're the family and friends I said, get new family and friends. You don't have to be blood.

Kamal El-Rassi:

Yeah, and that's what I tell my clients, hey, listen, you're not going to get rid of your family. But you can do some distancing, you're not going to get rid of all your friends. But some of them the negative ones, you have to say I'm sorry, I cannot do this, you know, we're done like the that separation has to happen that the moment that my clients want to reach for more, they have to move to this new positive environment isn't new growth, you we are the average of the four or five people. And I do want to give credit to the big table. Because when I joined it, I saw people like myself on a lawless degree doing so much better. People don't do it and the degree to get to do a lot of good business in the world. So that that community sense that mastermind says really cool my believe that I could do it. And that's the thing. And you just have to say I'm going to do it and you you don't need to know who you don't need to know how the house is going to come. As soon as you step up into this, place the space say You know, I am going to be with somebody, I need somebody to help me that individual will show up, it doesn't need to be me at all, you just have to ask that you want more, and that thing would come so negative people have to go people that are not helping you have to go, you have to become that better person, you got to build that bullet proof positive attitude. You're not gonna do it by yourself. I think Bob Proctor said that nobody would do a huge, humongous leap in their career or an achievement by themselves. You need that coach, you need that mentor, you need that community, you need that mastermind that would hold you accountable. And that would support you along the way the journey people to cheer you up. That's the view that and is it lonely at the top? It is because there's so much space, there's only one or 2% that are doing this kind of income that are doing this kind of thing. So you are moving to a space where there's less people. Yeah, that's the idea is moving you there. Tough decision, but it's easy, and you're

Loral Langemeier:

gonna find a bigger crowd at the top. And well, I think what a lot of you are going to realize and how you are now come all that you've moved into this more like taking on one on one clients, and I take on companies and clients and I take a lot of medical practices on. But I am so immersed with people during the day. I mean, you do move to the top, and you're going to be surprised that you're going to find yourself now with a lot of other top leaders. So it is it's lonely from a perspective of who you're with today because you are gonna outgrow them. I have outgrown. I've outgrown my mentors. I mean, there were there were periods where I was making way more than my mentors were. And they were great for what that was for me. And it was time to move on. It was time to move on to find another one. And, you know, now I'm being mentored by billionaire world leaders and world economists and they keep pulling you forward. But I think one of the things that's common with you and I and I think anyone who's like lifetime successful is you said it earlier. You stay a learner, you stay learner, you stay engaged, you stay curious and And those are just great. Great. I want to go to a few other questions, though. So omit the million dollar habits that you train your clients, let's talk about a few of those million dollar habits.

Kamal El-Rassi:

So the first one is like we have to learn to meditate, we have to learn to kind of take this time and become aware of this world that we want to live in. Right? I didn't do to meditate I was an engineer, I was the you know, you know, on the, you know, the number sizes like meditator, you said to me look like you're doing lazy stuff, you're sitting around just sleeping on the couch. I didn't want to do that. Imagine right what your parents would, for meditation is big. There are many different ones out there to do, you got to do it, get into the habit. Second one got to exercise get to get fit. You mean your physical body puts you in motion, like you have to, you have to stop the negative stuff that you're eating. And now you want to have a drink or two habit but don't have time. If you want to have pizza, have a slice or two, but don't have a big pizza, like you have to get fit and you got to get to the gym, don't just get the membership actually go to the gym and get somebody to teach you how to do these weights and machines right? Service. Start spending time doing some service in your community and you'll feel that your business will grow. The more you give, the more you get. Bob Proctor told me willingly give graciously receive the beautiful thing. Now you're going to have to give everything a lot right away, give them back, give 20 bucks, buy a coffee, start donating some time. In the morning, that routine that you put yourself in soon as you wake up. Everybody has a different religion you pray, pray a little bit, you know, what are you grateful for? Write 10 things that you're grateful for every day. It sit there and relax. And when you sit down, relax in great gratitude mode. Right there, you can ask for guidance and spirit, whatever you believe in will give you the answers what you want to do, right. And then right after that, you already have the task of what you're going to do for that day, because the night before you had a routine of how to set your night. So you just get up and you get into action. So these are habits that you have to build positive habits have to replace negative habits, we cannot just replace negative habits, you can just say I'm going to stop going to the casino. Now you have to have some of the Xena was from my time at the library when I stopped. You know drinking, I'm going to spend time with a mastermind business partners that are building businesses, real estate, whatever is your interest. So you replace a negative habit with a positive one. And the last thing I say is study, systematic study. Bob Proctor was religious about it. I didn't understand it. I'm like I'm done with school. What's this study all about? While you study some mindset material, some people have figured out some things. You look at this, for example, Think and Grow Rich, or whether they've read it, what did you study it? You know, look at Laura's books, you know, I haven't been here and I keep reading them. And I have notes in them. And I have things for us when we meet right? How many in our community have not even read the book, like you get to read the books, study like this. It's not hours, 20 minutes a day, make some notes. When you write things, thoughts, move, right? Take the start and you wipe.

Loral Langemeier:

And I want to make a big note about that is because we're in the age of this tippy, tippy top right? That get the typing is not kinetically connected to your brain Han nation, you have to write it. And I mean, I remember meeting Bob and he's always like writing, writing, and actually whatever you would always carry around like a piece of his jacket. And he always be writing notes. But there is there is I mean, so much scientific research, when you write it, you will remember it it changes your memory techniques. So don't just type. Right?

Kamal El-Rassi:

Right, it actually was proven to Dr. Porter, that's the other day from brain tap. And when you type it's only about 600 electrons or things moving in your mind, right. But when you write it's 10,000. So when I'm writing my goal, I'm expecting 10,000 new networks, in my mind, to really move it into reality was thoughts feelings and action, I want to think about it, I want to know what it feels like. And then my body's going to go into the vibration that takes the action to deliver the goods that I desire. So writing is phenomenal, like 10,000 times more than typing.

Loral Langemeier:

So all right, so we are Believe it or not, we have to wrap we'll have to come back and do like around two. So come on, I know you have a gift for everyone. It's going to be in the link below but what is it? What are they going to get when they have some time with you?
