Alan Carroll:

thank

Alan Carroll:

Dr. Cody Golman: you for having me. It's really my pleasure. I

Alan Carroll:

appreciate that the time and space in your life.

Alan Carroll:

Well, you're you have an interesting story to

Alan Carroll:

tell and an interesting background to share with us,

Alan Carroll:

which leads you into this space we call mindfulness. So just

Alan Carroll:

likes to have you share a little bit of your background and and

Alan Carroll:

your journey so far until today.

Unknown:

Sure, sure. I'll I'll condense because I'd probably

Unknown:

like many of you in the listeners have had a lot of life

Unknown:

experience in a very short period of time. But to summarize

Unknown:

this, I was at 17, I joined the military. And that was before

Unknown:

you could join before you could actually you can't actually go

Unknown:

to the military at 17. I was still in high school back then

Unknown:

you could. So I joined. And by the age of 19. I was a tank

Unknown:

commander. And I was very eager at you know 17 1819. And I found

Unknown:

you know, that was my first real experience with people. There

Unknown:

was a lot of different races, religions, cultures. And so I

Unknown:

got a lot of people skills right off the bat very early. And my I

Unknown:

was in a in a big howitzer tank, the bullets are about 100 pounds

Unknown:

apiece. And the bullet hole is not the technical term, but it

Unknown:

was above my head for about a foot above my head. You can

Unknown:

shoot three bullets a minute. So I was the bullet kid throwing

Unknown:

these bullets over my head and long story short, I started

Unknown:

having numbness and tingling and headaches and all kinds of

Unknown:

stuff, right? And I knew nothing about how I like everyone else.

Unknown:

I went to the doctor and when I was headed in runny nose, I got

Unknown:

a pill and I got the flu shot and got all these things. And so

Unknown:

I started going to a neurologist who checked me out and he said

Unknown:

nothing's wrong with you, but my hand was numb. And so I went to

Unknown:

the cardiovascular specialist and did the treadmill stress

Unknown:

test and that was fine, nothing wrong. Meanwhile, over the

Unknown:

course of 3456 months, I'm starting to lose strength in my

Unknown:

hand, and I can't lift these bullets anymore. And so it's

Unknown:

becoming quite a big problem. I also start having major

Unknown:

headaches and you know had had As much since I was 12, that

Unknown:

just started getting worse. So I go to multiple specialists, and

Unknown:

they couldn't find they basically all said, nothing's

Unknown:

wrong with you and we go on, that doesn't make any sense. Now

Unknown:

a few of them gave me some prescriptions, which was my

Unknown:

first kind of inkling to like, you know, where I'm going with

Unknown:

this. And I thought, well, that's weird. Why, if you don't

Unknown:

know what's going on, why would you get a prescription? You

Unknown:

know, just again, I was a little stupid when it comes to health.

Unknown:

So I didn't know what was going on. Sure. So eventually go to

Unknown:

the specialist, my mom said, Hey, your grandfather was a

Unknown:

world war two pilot, and he went to see a chiropractor. And I

Unknown:

said, I want to see a real doctor. I'm not sure what to say

Unknown:

when I was quacks. And but after you see enough real doctors who

Unknown:

really don't help you, you decide to go do some other

Unknown:

stuff. So I went to finally reluctantly see a chiropractor.

Unknown:

And the guy said, Hey, I've done some X rays. And he showed me

Unknown:

you got a pinched nerve in your neck. And I said, Well, that's

Unknown:

that can't be the case. I saw a neurologist. And he said, well,

Unknown:

a neurologist wasn't looking for this. And I said, I don't

Unknown:

understand. He said, Well, you're, you're the specialist.

Unknown:

You saw, were checking your body parts. They weren't checking the

Unknown:

connection to the body parts. And they said, well, that are

Unknown:

you kidding me right now? It's that same must be joking. So he

Unknown:

said, Well, let me do an adjustment with you did

Unknown:

adjustment which removed pressure off the nerve in my

Unknown:

neck? In literally one second? At a lightning bolt?

Unknown:

Electricity, energy shoot down my hand and feeling came back?

Unknown:

In? Right. Yeah, there you go. Right. So so there you go. So

Unknown:

that's, that's what I experienced. Now. I'm, I'm 19 at

Unknown:

the time, and I go, What in the hell just happened, I was

Unknown:

shocked feeling came back. And he started explaining the

Unknown:

principles to me. Now I say this story, because this is where

Unknown:

this is the initiation of of understanding universal

Unknown:

principles, and the application to the mind and body. And, you

Unknown:

know, he said, let's work with you a few more times, he

Unknown:

explained to me that my brain has an intelligence inside. And

Unknown:

it's running from my brain to the through my spinal cord out

Unknown:

to my organs. And there was pressure on those nerves, so the

Unknown:

intelligence wasn't getting through to my hand. And little

Unknown:

did I find I found out later, about three months later, after

Unknown:

working with this guy, my heart palpitations, and asthma

Unknown:

completely cleared up. Since I was 12. completely cleared up.

Unknown:

Now, at the time, I was also going to the University of New

Unknown:

Orleans, and it opened up an anatomy book. And if you guys

Unknown:

look this up, there's something called the marriage chart. It

Unknown:

was it was created back in the 70s. It's a medical chart that

Unknown:

shows the connection between your brain and your spine, your

Unknown:

spinal nerves, and your organs. And lo and behold, I found that

Unknown:

the nerve that controls our hand, also controls our hearts.

Unknown:

But you don't have pain fibers in your heart. So this is

Unknown:

something that's really important. 80 to 90% of our

Unknown:

body, and 80 to 90% of our body, we don't feel you will never

Unknown:

feel ever. Thank God. Can you imagine? Right? Can you imagine

Unknown:

if you felt 60,000 miles of arteries and veins of

Unknown:

circulating blood and oxygen to your tissues?

Alan Carroll:

You can't imagine that right? I got enough things

Alan Carroll:

to think about. I mean, think about me,

Unknown:

too. Me too. Exactly. So I point to these things.

Unknown:

Because listen, I've spent the last 20 years, passionately

Unknown:

educating people on the power of the mind and body, and not from

Unknown:

a a big grandiose idea, but from an actual scientific

Unknown:

perspective. And I found when people truly understand how

Unknown:

their body works, it equals freedom, freedom from what I am

Unknown:

calling the enslavement of our healthcare system. Now, it's not

Unknown:

all bad. So maybe it's a strong word. But when we understand

Unknown:

that you've got an intelligence that's circulating 60,000 miles

Unknown:

of arteries and veins, it's turning your food into your

Unknown:

cells and tissues. It's, it's rebuilding your skeletal

Unknown:

structure, every seven years, you have a brand new skeletal

Unknown:

system, every 24 to 48 hours, you have a brand new stomach

Unknown:

lining, every 120 days, your red blood cells rebuild, so I can go

Unknown:

on with this. But the point being is, that's pretty damn

Unknown:

cool. And whatever he's doing that knows way more than I do.

Unknown:

So that whole journey at that moment, I realized when that

Unknown:

that electric shock came down, and all of a sudden I started

Unknown:

looking up in this in these textbooks. I said, You know

Unknown:

what, I'm gonna become a chiropractor. I want to help

Unknown:

people truly heal. I also said, what if I would have listened to

Unknown:

the doctors who gave me a pill? Right without a prescription?

Unknown:

Right? Yeah, it's just, and then I started, yeah, had these

Unknown:

cognitive flashes that showed me at 40 years old and 50 and 60

Unknown:

and 70, the result of suppressing symptoms with some

Unknown:

kind of pill or whatever. What would that do in the long run?

Unknown:

And that's when I started realizing, oh my gosh, we're not

Unknown:

looking for causes. So there's a principle of course of cause and

Unknown:

effect. But what I found was that symptoms are mainly affects

Unknown:

your body is not a cause. The body has never been a cause the

Unknown:

body is an effect. It's a loudspeaker of you and the

Unknown:

interaction of you and whatever intelligence you believe in. So

Unknown:

well, kind of weaving all that together. When I, the first day

Unknown:

in chiropractic school, the very first day in chiropractic

Unknown:

school, I think it was 22 or 23. At the time, we had to do an

Unknown:

introduction of ourselves, I stood up, and everyone kind of

Unknown:

introduced themselves and I stood up and I was kind of a, I

Unknown:

would say, I was cocky, big ego. And I loved to entertain, you

Unknown:

know, I was pretty full of myself at the time. And so I

Unknown:

started to tell this funny story about how I'm drinking and

Unknown:

trying to entertain everyone. And I heard a voice pop in my in

Unknown:

my head, it literally popped in. And it's shut me up. And it

Unknown:

said, Your purpose is to ignite and inspire people to their

Unknown:

highest potential. And I literally stopped talking,

Unknown:

looked around, and it was, I mean, I'm in front of 400

Unknown:

people. And I'm like, I couldn't say Did anyone hear that? But I

Unknown:

heard it. But I could tell no one else heard it. So it threw

Unknown:

me off.

Alan Carroll:

That's cute. That's cute. Cody, it threw you

Alan Carroll:

off every voice of God in the middle of a 400 person seminar

Alan Carroll:

threw you off? Well, I, I can understand wobbled a bit but

Unknown:

no, right now get me back on my egoic trip, like I

Unknown:

know what I'm doing here. So you know, source Exactly. So. So I

Unknown:

say that because that was the initiation of kind of going,

Unknown:

Okay, wait a minute, there's something greater here. And

Unknown:

here's my purpose. So that kind of is a rundown of, of the

Unknown:

initial part of my story. Well,

Alan Carroll:

that's a Mount Everest kind of experience where

Alan Carroll:

you hear hear a voice inside your head and have a physical

Alan Carroll:

experience of a flow of energy going down your body a spark of

Alan Carroll:

energy. It's like a wake up call, like, you wake up from a

Alan Carroll:

dream, like, wait a minute, what's going on? It's like shock

Alan Carroll:

therapy, where you're, you're shocked into awakeness. And so I

Alan Carroll:

can understand that that is, that's rare. In my experience,

Alan Carroll:

it's rare. And yet, you don't have to have too many of them to

Alan Carroll:

get you on the track. And so those kinds of experiences,

Alan Carroll:

especially being being told, of what your purpose is, the

Alan Carroll:

younger age, yes, then then the decision making process becomes,

Alan Carroll:

oh, if you're aligned with your purpose, then of course, I would

Alan Carroll:

do that. But if you don't have a purpose, then, you know, try

Alan Carroll:

this, try that, try this. Try that. So boy, what a what, what

Alan Carroll:

a gift. What a gift. Well, let's continue down the you talked

Alan Carroll:

about the, the body is the effect, it's not the cause, the

Alan Carroll:

effect is somewhere else. And, and to me, when I think about

Alan Carroll:

the effect of the body, I think about the thoughts that I think

Alan Carroll:

and how the thoughts that I think influenced the condition

Alan Carroll:

of my mental, physical and emotional body. Is that similar

Alan Carroll:

to where you go with your, what's, what's the cause of the

Alan Carroll:

effects?

Unknown:

Well, we're gonna go there, and we're also gonna go

Unknown:

beyond because what we're at right now 23. So I basically

Unknown:

spend the next 17 years you know, become a chiropractor. In

Unknown:

chiropractic school, I discovered a a work a course a

Unknown:

program that was a part of, from a man who developed this in

Unknown:

1931. It was called concept therapy. So in 1931, he had a

Unknown:

cognition and enlightenment, his name was Dr. Thurman fleet. And

Unknown:

so in 1931, he basically had that cognitive load of these

Unknown:

courses and classes to basically describe what awareness is he

Unknown:

had during those than the seven day enlightenment. So I studied

Unknown:

those four years, I started teaching them. So when I went to

Unknown:

chiropractic school for was a four or five years got out of my

Unknown:

practice. And I studied this guy's work. And I also started

Unknown:

teaching as I was a youngest teacher. And most of the people

Unknown:

in this class in this in the teachers were 60 was young.

Unknown:

They're mostly in their 70s and 80s. Teaching, because the, you

Unknown:

know, the guy taught people back in the 30s and 40s. So, so it

Unknown:

was like, I was one of the youngest kids, there are guys.

Unknown:

And so this work was what really opened up my consciousness. And

Unknown:

here's why I say this. We discussed about the body and in

Unknown:

chiropractic, we go, okay, the cause of disease is a pinched

Unknown:

nerve. So when you block lifeforce, from the brain to the

Unknown:

new organs, it doesn't get through. And yes, that's, that's

Unknown:

a truth. That's a truth. It's not the whole truth, though.

Unknown:

It's a truth. Because you as you just mentioned about thoughts.

Unknown:

If we start weaving this together, One of the one of the

Unknown:

interesting piece of this is was his work was based on why if you

Unknown:

if you, when you adjust someone, I had just you you guys know

Unknown:

this, I had in my office people heal from breast cancers,

Unknown:

digestive cancers, sickle cell anemia, AIDS, fibromyalgia,

Unknown:

multiple sclerosis. I wasn't doing anything except

Unknown:

chiropractic. But the question is, why would I just someone,

Unknown:

why would why would their multiple sclerosis get better.

Unknown:

But most chiropractors aren't getting, you know, those kinds

Unknown:

of things better. I mean, the average chiropractor fixes

Unknown:

someone back in headaches, that which is great, that's awesome.

Unknown:

But what I learned from this gentleman was the effects of

Unknown:

consciousness upon consciousness. So just to

Unknown:

explain this, he had a model that described when when more

Unknown:

than one human get together, there's a way of their

Unknown:

unconscious minds interacting. And there's a way to connect,

Unknown:

it's called rapport. So when two people have rapport, you can

Unknown:

influence each other's unconscious mind or the

Unknown:

subconscious brain, okay, just to keep it simple. So he had

Unknown:

trained us to build an image of health, in our mind. So I had

Unknown:

six clear images, let's say of perfect gestion. And in order to

Unknown:

under really understand this is you right now and you and your

Unknown:

listeners, you're digesting food, you're circulating blood,

Unknown:

which means you have a program for normal digestion, and normal

Unknown:

circulation in your unconscious mind. That's there. Now, matter

Unknown:

of fact, none of us know how it works. Yeah, none of us know how

Unknown:

it works. There's not one doctor in this planet, they can tell

Unknown:

you how circulation really works to just really feel into this.

Unknown:

If you and I read every medical textbook, every anatomy

Unknown:

textbooks, every physiology textbook on the planet, we

Unknown:

understand 3% about how the body works. I think that's important.

Unknown:

Understood, you go to the doctor, yeah, you go to the

Unknown:

doctor, it's important people hear this, you're going to

Unknown:

someone who's understands a very small percentage of the body.

Unknown:

But there's someone else in there who understands the whole

Unknown:

thing. And that's whatever power resides in the subconscious

Unknown:

mind. Now, chiropractors say that God is resides in there, I

Unknown:

think that's probably a good assessment. Because who else is

Unknown:

going to know how to do these amazing things? Right? I don't

Unknown:

know. I don't know how to do it. So in chiropractic, we say, you

Unknown:

know, that, when you when you feel into this, if the doctor

Unknown:

can put attention on on health, it'll amplify a patient's

Unknown:

subconscious brain cells. So if I focus on perfect digestion,

Unknown:

it'll amplify the program that's already there. Now that's,

Unknown:

that's outside of chiropractic. So removing pressure off a nerve

Unknown:

is fantastic. That's amazing. It's a physical treatment. But

Unknown:

the doctor can amplify subconscious brain cells, you

Unknown:

have an added effect of implementing the the program

Unknown:

that's in there for perfect digestion. Okay, so I say that,

Unknown:

because that's an addition on top of chiropractic. That's what

Unknown:

I was doing with people. That's what I learned. And that's what

Unknown:

I was trained in that is the influence of thought upon

Unknown:

amongst our, you know, our own body, but thoughts and energy

Unknown:

were how it impacts other people's bodies. Does that make

Unknown:

sense?

Alan Carroll:

You know, I'm, I'm a believer of the there's a form

Alan Carroll:

of yoga called Raja Yoga. And Raja Yoga is the king yoga. And

Alan Carroll:

when you look at what does Raja Yoga mean, it has to do with the

Alan Carroll:

exploration of the inner world, through meditation. And when you

Alan Carroll:

start to explore the inner world through meditation, the inner

Alan Carroll:

world is composed of thoughts, and no thought. And so you begin

Alan Carroll:

to observe the thoughts, which begins to build the muscle of

Alan Carroll:

the observer and the witness that allows you to create the

Alan Carroll:

space between you in the event which allows you to respond

Alan Carroll:

rather than react. And stay still while other people are

Alan Carroll:

going bonkers. So I understand the power of the mind and and

Alan Carroll:

that book talked about the the body mind soul. Now soul to me,

Alan Carroll:

is metaphysical. Body. Yes, body is definitely the physical mind

Alan Carroll:

is an operation of the physical, you cannot think no one can tell

Alan Carroll:

you where it is. So it's beyond the physical but it's not

Alan Carroll:

metaphysical. It's not to beyond the physical or metaphysical is,

Alan Carroll:

is beyond the mind, which is composed of the thoughts. So

Alan Carroll:

it's that space on either side of the thoughts. So, so go ahead

Alan Carroll:

and weave in your understanding of let's go

Unknown:

there. Yeah, and especially with your level of

Unknown:

consciousness in the your program and your listeners

Unknown:

there, but we're able to go there. So I love that I can do

Unknown:

this. So now if we take this step, you're gonna love this

Unknown:

story, because this is the next this is the next big moment

Unknown:

every moment. Okay, let's fast forward. So I've got these

Unknown:

amazing healing results. I mean, we're getting I have hospitals

Unknown:

calling me asking me what we're doing because patients are

Unknown:

healing from sickle cell anemia. The UN AIDS and right. And it's

Unknown:

incredible. So I'm pretty I still got my ego by the way, I

Unknown:

didn't get rid of that. So I'm pretty, pretty big on myself

Unknown:

with what I'm doing here. We got a huge Wellness Center. Well, I

Unknown:

started hearing you know the little bit of the voice saying,

Unknown:

hey, it's time for you to get get out of this and go none and

Unknown:

then right, right, exactly right. So I thought she only got

Unknown:

one gift in this life. You see, Alan i That was the thing I was

Unknown:

confused on. So anyway, I'm pretty good. What I'm doing now

Unknown:

I so I listened for five years go through some pain. I ended up

Unknown:

getting to sell my chiropractic office, it was awesome to do

Unknown:

this, okay. And it pushed me into a whole new kind of

Unknown:

business. I opened a product business on Amazon, which most

Unknown:

would say isn't really that mindful. It doesn't have any

Unknown:

spiritual aspects. It does. It didn't. It really didn't.

Unknown:

There's things in there, but I couldn't figure out why it's

Unknown:

telling me to do this. So I do I do this. And then I'm making

Unknown:

great money. Here's where it gets interesting. This is in

Unknown:

2019. I start getting pretty tired. I'm pretty worn out. I

Unknown:

started taking some naps throughout the day. And I'm

Unknown:

getting more and more tired. I'm going man, I'm I'm in November,

Unknown:

I know the power of my mind. So I can override my body. Okay, so

Unknown:

I do I override my body. I'm not listening to it anymore. I'm

Unknown:

overriding going Nope, I have perfect energy. Let me just

Unknown:

focus on positive things. And I'm pretty positive. You also I

Unknown:

was not someone that you could you could complain to as well at

Unknown:

the time. So I get I get more more tired. Now what starts

Unknown:

happening is I'm getting so tired that I'm sleeping eight

Unknown:

hours at night and two hours in a day, three hours in a day,

Unknown:

four hours in a day. I'm starting to get pretty worried.

Unknown:

Yeah, yeah. And I had made multiple trips to China because

Unknown:

you source products from China to build these to build these

Unknown:

products. Okay. So this is the story. I start going to doctors,

Unknown:

you know, I don't even believe in doctors, right? I judge

Unknown:

medical doctors I judge the whole system. This is a big

Unknown:

principle. I've noticed whatever we criticize, we eventually

Unknown:

become a big principal here go

Alan Carroll:

ahead and say that again. Say that again? Dr. Cody

Alan Carroll:

because that's a really a pretty sound

Unknown:

Yeah. Yeah, yeah, let me say it fully Yeah, whatever

Unknown:

we criticize we eventually attract in our life becoming

Unknown:

ourself or breed it in our kids.

Alan Carroll:

Like like you throw the ball out but it

Alan Carroll:

bounces back and hit you in the face

Unknown:

yeah, because energy where people people going oh,

Unknown:

we're concentration goes energy flows and manifests in physical

Unknown:

form. But what I didn't realize was if you shove down fear your

Unknown:

whatever you repress get expressed. Now it may express in

Unknown:

a way you don't like but I'll get into that principle that's a

Unknown:

pretty big one. So you bet so here's what happens right? So

Unknown:

I'm starting to get more and more sick I start going to

Unknown:

doctors because i There's no all my natural healers can't do

Unknown:

anything my patent may chiropractors my you know all of

Unknown:

them. And so long story short, I started doing some stool tests

Unknown:

and the samples and $35,000 of blood tests. I mean, I'm

Unknown:

starting to get pretty sick. Now I'm in bed eight hours at night

Unknown:

and eight hours in a day. Okay. My energy is so bad. I'm

Unknown:

starting to be poisoned from the inside. I didn't know what was

Unknown:

going on. But I basically got a parasite in China which by the

Unknown:

way, I didn't believe in parasites I thought it was all

Unknown:

in your head so just to hear it here that I created what I

Unknown:

decided to started becoming Okay. Bacteria, I thought

Unknown:

bacteria is bullshit. I judge that I said that's on your mind

Unknown:

that's on your mind. So I get a parasite in China that starts

Unknown:

eating away at my my nutrients and start becoming malnourished

Unknown:

from the inside. Okay. Now, I was bit by a tick when I was 17.

Unknown:

Okay, so limes bacteria Lyme bacteria was released into my

Unknown:

system now the Lyme bacteria is actually circulating through my

Unknown:

blood brain barrier in through my circulation and it is

Unknown:

poisoning my brain. So now I can't think straight like you

Unknown:

asked me to spell my name. I can't spell my name. But it's

Unknown:

pretty scary to experience that it's a bit like exploring

Unknown:

Alzheimer's I would think so. I'm now in bed. I'm it's easier

Unknown:

to see when I'm not in bed. I'm basically up an hour to two

Unknown:

hours a day to try to take supplements and eat something

Unknown:

and this happens I'm in bed for six months. I don't walk for six

Unknown:

months. I've got a new brand brand new baby she's six months

Unknown:

old. I don't hold her my mom and dad who are in their in their

Unknown:

70s Come out and they get to watch me they gotta they gotta

Unknown:

stay with me so they can so I can take care of my you know my

Unknown:

family. My dad stays with me Mom saves me which by the way, I

Unknown:

didn't have a lot of affinity for family that was one of my

Unknown:

high priorities. I always judged family said families just there

Unknown:

for blood. It's just not right. Whatever you criticize, you

Unknown:

eventually attract breeder become so now I've got to rely

Unknown:

on my family. This goes on for a year and a half, six months

Unknown:

embed me fast forward to you can't imagine the physical and

Unknown:

mental pain of the breaking down of your body. When you feel your

Unknown:

body breaking down. You Feel your organs breaking down. All

Unknown:

the patients who came in who had problems. I really never had

Unknown:

problems like this. I started having sympathy. Right? Right. I

Unknown:

started understanding oh my god, I see what you guys were

Unknown:

experiencing. But it was on a whole level for me not walking

Unknown:

for six months when you're an athlete, I was a bodybuilder.

Unknown:

I'm a public speaker, I'm you know, I'm designed to help other

Unknown:

people. So here's what happens is the start, I can't go to my

Unknown:

body anymore. My body's just destroying. So I go into my

Unknown:

mind, I go, You know what, I got control over my mind. But

Unknown:

because the bacteria poison my mind, what happens when you lose

Unknown:

your mind? literally lost my mind? Where do you go? When your

Unknown:

body doesn't work anymore? And your mind isn't working anymore?

Unknown:

That's an interesting question. Well, I moved outside of it. And

Unknown:

I literally watched myself above my body for months, I just sat

Unknown:

over it. Well, I don't know how that even happened. I just

Unknown:

watched it. And of course, I'm having conversations with

Unknown:

whatever entity will talk to me. Jesus Buddha, Allah, I didn't I

Unknown:

didn't believe in religion, but I talked to anybody at that

Unknown:

point. All right. And I went through all the metaphysical

Unknown:

principles, all the rays of the dawn, the concept therapy, the

Unknown:

Joe Dispenza, the Bruce Lipton, the all of them, the Tony

Unknown:

Robbins, I went through all the principles I knew, to try to

Unknown:

figure out what was going on. None of it worked. None of it

Unknown:

worked. And I can't describe to you the mental pain and the

Unknown:

emotional pain. The psychological pain is the best

Unknown:

way to put the spiritual pain of, of thinking that you know

Unknown:

how to help people. But How funny is it to be the guy that

Unknown:

can help everyone, but can't help himself. That level of that

Unknown:

level of hypocrisy, and self condemnation was pretty big.

Unknown:

Okay. So I feel myself dying. I don't want anyone around.

Unknown:

Because I was always Mr. Positive, and I wanted people to

Unknown:

see me as strong. I never showed weak parts of myself, which is a

Unknown:

little hint to this story. And I didn't want to no one around.

Unknown:

And I just I didn't, I said, all my friends wouldn't come over to

Unknown:

need help. And like, I couldn't talk on the phone and get my

Unknown:

computer. Now interesting enough, I had Amazon business,

Unknown:

which didn't require my presence. I had one employee who

Unknown:

ran the whole thing. Had I kept my chiropractic office, I would

Unknown:

have lost everything. But source or spirit guided me to build a

Unknown:

business, which I thought was very unspiritual. Right. And

Unknown:

they right had no purpose. Well, here's the purpose, to go

Unknown:

through this event, and still provide income for my family. I

Unknown:

couldn't have I couldn't have thought of that. Right? You see,

Unknown:

I'm saying right. So right. So this is the moment I think is

Unknown:

important for you and want you to get the story. I'm I am

Unknown:

saying things like this, I just want to die. Just let me die.

Unknown:

It's not about suicide. It was about what's the point of living

Unknown:

like this. You can't walk? What's the point? I mean, I

Unknown:

could hear people playing outside I could, I could feel

Unknown:

that the sun was nice. I could feel people enjoying their

Unknown:

lives. What's the point of living? These are things I would

Unknown:

have never said before. I would never said before, because I was

Unknown:

blocking out dark, negative, I was blocking the other side of

Unknown:

life. So I finally like, listen, I tried ways to kill myself. I'm

Unknown:

gonna just be honest. And I started most people could hear

Unknown:

my verbiage. And they were worried about me. And so people

Unknown:

started coming over and watching me. And I finally said, Okay,

Unknown:

well, that's, you know, I remember trying to figure out

Unknown:

how to jump out of the window, and land on my head. So I break

Unknown:

my neck, because I just I know how the body works. Right? So

Unknown:

but then I realized, is it really going to relieve me from

Unknown:

my spiritual pain by removing my body? And I said, that's, that's

Unknown:

quite an interesting question there in itself, right? So so I

Unknown:

go in, and I realized I'm so afraid of death all the things

Unknown:

the dark energies that I called dark all the things I was afraid

Unknown:

of were starting to happen. And I finally after there's a

Unknown:

there's about two weeks in this, but I said, Screw it. I'm gonna

Unknown:

go in let me just go into these energies. Let me start I felt I

Unknown:

was resisting all this. Let me just go into the darkness, the

Unknown:

death the dying the illness, let me go in to the things that I've

Unknown:

been avoiding. Let me just go in because what else is gonna

Unknown:

happen if I die, die?

Unknown:

I don't know how I did this. But if people can resonate with

Unknown:

resisting something, and you just stop and you allow it in,

Unknown:

however you do, however, you can translate that in your own

Unknown:

being. I let this in and I dove in imagine a pool of darkness, a

Unknown:

pool of dark tar that think you're gonna die and you just

Unknown:

dive into that son of a gun. Right? When I died in, I moved

Unknown:

in to what felt like death and dying. I started feeling

Unknown:

electricity. I started feeling life. When I dove into darkness.

Unknown:

I started feeling life. All the treatments, all the stuff. I was

Unknown:

doing multiple IVs oxygen therapy. I mean, I'm not going

Unknown:

to go through the whole list, a whole 25 to 30 prescriptions and

Unknown:

medication. None of that stuff did anything. None of it

Unknown:

anything but When I dove into this darkness, I started filling

Unknown:

life. I don't know how that how even describe this after six

Unknown:

months of being in bed to dive in, and you feel life and now my

Unknown:

I'm very confused. I'm confused because I thought that you

Unknown:

needed to be positive in life, I thought positivity was a way to

Unknown:

have a good life. I'm starting to be shown something else. So

Unknown:

things that sort of flashed through my mind this moment was,

Unknown:

I had judged so many things in my life for being bad or

Unknown:

negative. And I started I had to become all these things like I

Unknown:

mentioned. Well, I wasn't a guy that you could talk to when if

Unknown:

you want to kill yourself, don't come talk to me. If you were you

Unknown:

feeling bad about your day, don't come talk to me. Well, now

Unknown:

I'm the guy that suddenly realize, oh, my gosh, positivity

Unknown:

is a fantasy. Negativity is a fantasy. Both are illusions.

Unknown:

Both are illusions. There's a law of polarity, which I

Unknown:

understood, but I understood it intellectually. Now I'm starting

Unknown:

to grasp it. Universal Law of Polarity, which I know you're

Unknown:

familiar with, Allen says that the tides go in, the tides go

Unknown:

out, the sun comes up, the sun goes down. Human equilibrium

Unknown:

goes through polarity, there's nothing that doesn't have

Unknown:

polarity. But what I was doing was trying to be a one sided

Unknown:

being, right, one sided positive person, right, and cutting out

Unknown:

the negative. This is what our self development world, much of

Unknown:

the self development world has been teaching. Well, guess what

Unknown:

happens when you hold the positive polarity to feel into

Unknown:

this. I'm Dr. Goldman, and the ultimate image of health. Let me

Unknown:

help you. Let me help you achieve success, achieve health

Unknown:

achieve, you know, happiness. So I'm holding the positive poll,

Unknown:

the longer and harder you hold that poll, the harsher the swing

Unknown:

to the side, boom. That's where the illness came in. That's why

Unknown:

it was so harsh. When I allowed this energy, all of it to dive

Unknown:

in. But I say life started coming back in I don't mean

Unknown:

positivity, I mean, the energy of life, which is what's in

Unknown:

between polarities. So if we have positive negative

Unknown:

illusions, when you collapse the positive, negative and realize

Unknown:

their illusions, that's when true energy starts coming in.

Unknown:

And that's when power started coming in. And that's when my

Unknown:

body started healing again, I was able to, within two weeks,

Unknown:

notice my first walk or walk to half block. And then that half

Unknown:

block of stumbling, my feet just kind of shuffling, just very

Unknown:

slowly. This little old lady with a walker passes me up. And

Unknown:

I started having this cognition, oh my god, you were judgmental

Unknown:

of slow people. Now you became a slow person. They see all these

Unknown:

things that we we judged in our lives. I wanted to say this in a

Unknown:

strong way. We know that you'll eventually become them. But if

Unknown:

you can go in and see and the things that you have judged, and

Unknown:

see how it all has both benefits and drawbacks. Even the you know

Unknown:

what I mean? Yeah, when you feel oh, yeah, so this moment, this

Unknown:

Yeah, this moment was a psychedelic moment. Yep. I had

Unknown:

never done psychedelics. I've never done any drugs in my life.

Unknown:

But when you take this moment, and I slowly started healing,

Unknown:

you started coming back and trying to figure out okay, what

Unknown:

do I do with this now? Right? What do I do with this? I of

Unknown:

course, my Amazon business is not needed anymore. So that

Unknown:

slowly started going away. Right? And I so started going,

Unknown:

Well, what do you want me to do now? And this is where the path

Unknown:

started taking me was, was starting to coach people. And

Unknown:

and you know, you probably have seen I have a, it's interesting,

Unknown:

because you know how I judge the Amazon company. Well, it told me

Unknown:

the next thing was build a weight loss company and go a

Unknown:

weight loss. That's so physical. Why would you do that? That's

Unknown:

just as not spiritual. And then I realized, Oh, my God, when you

Unknown:

don't have your body, you're not seeking for God. While you're

Unknown:

seeking for it is fucking relief. Sorry for the cursing,

Unknown:

but some relief. Right, right. Yeah. And so I realized that

Unknown:

that's the first step to spirituality is do you have your

Unknown:

health? It doesn't, I wouldn't ever said that before. But now I

Unknown:

can say with certainty, say that with certainty, I can say that.

Unknown:

And so over those years, what's very cool, I'm gonna want to

Unknown:

want to just first of all, I want to see see if there's

Unknown:

anything that's coming in your in your in your mind from that

Unknown:

story, because I want to just give some space and time to

Unknown:

talk. You're

Alan Carroll:

the I'm looking down on the earth from the

Alan Carroll:

International Space Station. And all the lights are off in the

Alan Carroll:

United States. And when you were talking about it, the flicker of

Alan Carroll:

light began to appear. And then more and more light began to

Alan Carroll:

appear. And I look at that light Holy Spirit, kind of like divine

Alan Carroll:

energy kind of light, which is available when you're able to

Alan Carroll:

have mental stability and not get polarized by anything.

Alan Carroll:

Because you don't identify with anything. If you identify with

Alan Carroll:

something, then you're deep trouble because something's

Alan Carroll:

going to change. But if you identify with nothing, then you

Alan Carroll:

are calm in the middle of the chaos. And but most people can't

Alan Carroll:

give up the some things in order to get to the nothings. And so

Alan Carroll:

you had the physical razzmatazz of divine energy shaking you up.

Alan Carroll:

And that's really a gift. Because that just accelerates

Alan Carroll:

the light that you are, that allows you to shine light,

Alan Carroll:

brighter into the world, to create these wonderful

Alan Carroll:

architects of spirituality. Beautiful, beautiful. It's also

Alan Carroll:

it's time to get get complete here. It's very, very moving

Alan Carroll:

story, but I want to give you a chance to complete and then

Alan Carroll:

we'll tell the audience how they can get a hold of you.

Unknown:

Well, Alan, I want to say thank you, I can feel energy

Unknown:

speaking inside you. And I feel tears inside as you're talking.

Unknown:

Because, you know, I feel now what's opened up in media, I can

Unknown:

feel people so deeply. It doesn't matter if they're across

Unknown:

the world or right in front of me. And so I can feel you as

Unknown:

you're talking in your and you understand what I'm saying. And

Unknown:

that means so much to me. And I want to Yeah, so I just love

Unknown:

having the conversation. Something that you know, just

Unknown:

right now as you're talking, I feel tears coming through. And

Unknown:

this is something that I used to block especially as a as a male.

Unknown:

But I start I allow this through now. And here's why. In the

Unknown:

right before I was wanting to kill myself, I found a book

Unknown:

called The Five Regrets of Dying. Oh, what a horrible

Unknown:

title. Oh my god, that's so negative. I gotta tell you, this

Unknown:

book was life changing. I would have never read that before

Unknown:

until I actually wanted to kill myself. In this book this lady

Unknown:

describes she spends 30 years in hospice. And she's basically

Unknown:

with people on their on their deathbed. In their last few

Unknown:

minutes of what they're what they say and their and their

Unknown:

regrets in their life. Okay. And if you ever have you read that

Unknown:

book,

Alan Carroll:

not say they say the title again, the five, the

Alan Carroll:

the

Unknown:

Top Five Regrets of Dying. Yeah. And here's what

Unknown:

here's what when I this book came to me as I was right before

Unknown:

and to kill myself. And let me just share just a few ladies.

Unknown:

This is what started. Yeah, this was started changing me because

Unknown:

I was someone that was just to reiterate, I was entrepreneur

Unknown:

focused, I still love business. But I was focused on my

Unknown:

business. I was focused on my money, my car's my house. But

Unknown:

what I didn't realize was the things that these people said

Unknown:

before their deathbed. And I think if people read this, you

Unknown:

just even read the five things they say, it'll move you the

Unknown:

first thing. I wish I had the courage to live a life true to

Unknown:

myself. Not the life others expected of me. There's many

Unknown:

things in that. There's many things but that's what people

Unknown:

that's the number one people think people said, I wish I

Unknown:

lived the life that was true to me. Now what others expected yet

Unknown:

was social construct said of me, not what not what my mom, my

Unknown:

dad, not what my husband, but what I wanted, I wish a little

Unknown:

had the life that lived the life that I wanted. When you have an

Unknown:

experience of almost dying. I had, I feel like I've got the

Unknown:

perspective of what it's what it's like to be 9099 102,

Unknown:

whatever, whatever it is, and you're about to die, and you

Unknown:

know it. And and you go and you you have perspective, it's

Unknown:

perspective. So at 4041, I had perspective on the first 41

Unknown:

years going, you view, we're not tuned in to what was really

Unknown:

magical in this lifetime. You were tuned into the things that

Unknown:

were transient. And I started realizing I didn't share love

Unknown:

with people. Every time I would talk to like I'm talking to you

Unknown:

and I'm tearing up. But I would shut that down before and I

Unknown:

wouldn't say what was coming through we stopped the throat

Unknown:

chakra from communicating what what spirit in me wants to say

Unknown:

to the Spirit and you that's what came through. The second

Unknown:

thing is people said I wish I hadn't worked so hard. They go

Unknown:

that's that's a funny one. That makes sense. I wish and work so

Unknown:

hard this this simple things. The third thing was I wish I had

Unknown:

the courage to express my feelings. So like right now in

Unknown:

this moment, I can tell you with certainty, Alan, I can feel you.

Unknown:

I can feel your being. I don't feel a difference in age. I

Unknown:

don't feel a difference in in in who we are as as men. I feel the

Unknown:

resonance of of what is in me within you. And I have a love

Unknown:

for you and what you do, and I can say that now with certainty

Unknown:

but before I couldn't have said that to another man The fourth

Unknown:

one was, I wish I'd stay in touch with my friends. The

Unknown:

simplicity of that, the simplicity of that when you feel

Unknown:

into at 99 or 102, and you're about to leave, to feel the

Unknown:

simplicity that in whatever age and current time space reality

Unknown:

someone is to feel the simplicity of that. And then

Unknown:

number five, I wish I let myself be happier. That was it. None of

Unknown:

Nobody said I wish I made more money. Nobody said, I wish I had

Unknown:

more achievements. Nobody said, I wish I got the Range Rover,

Unknown:

not one person said any of these things. And then I started

Unknown:

realizing, Oh, the gift to really know what's important.

Unknown:

And this is what I you know, you mentioned mentioned about how to

Unknown:

transmit to people. I think in this moment, if people can feel

Unknown:

and listen what I'm saying, you start telling the people in your

Unknown:

life, who have been there for you that you love them and tell

Unknown:

them how you really feel. You don't know the things that you

Unknown:

say, they may be coming from from source, and the impact we

Unknown:

have on each other. These are the things we remember, you

Unknown:

know, the love that we share amongst amongst beings. No one,

Unknown:

no one really, no one really cared how big your house was.

Unknown:

So. So that was a defining moment that I think feeling that

Unknown:

and then moving forward, I now get to coach people. I now have

Unknown:

people who are going through his experiences who have no one to

Unknown:

talk to. And I go hey, man, I've been there they go. You've been

Unknown:

here? Yes. And they go, Yeah, I know what it's like 20 Kill

Unknown:

yourself. I noticed like, and they go, how could you talk with

Unknown:

me right now know this? And I go because I am you. Because I've

Unknown:

been because I let myself dive into it. Because the things

Unknown:

you're resisting, it's really this incredible source that's

Unknown:

pushing you towards being something so much more than you

Unknown:

can imagine. So that first thing you you mentioned just about

Unknown:

thoughts. I know with certainty now that I'm not a body. I have

Unknown:

a body. Yes, I know. It's certainly now, right? That I'm

Unknown:

not a mind yet. But I have a mind You bet. And now, yes, but

Unknown:

I also know that I am a a timeless spaceless massless

Unknown:

being that I've had cognitions now, doing this several 1000s of

Unknown:

times when I say this, coming here, being in this and doing

Unknown:

this, I can now feel outside of this time and space. And so when

Unknown:

you talked about coming from the space station and looking down I

Unknown:

thought man space station like when you go into the in and out

Unknown:

of time and space, the space station and the earth and planet

Unknown:

all go away. And you start realizing that this thing is so

Unknown:

much bigger than our than our finite mind can ever imagine. So

Unknown:

there's a few things for you Alan.

Alan Carroll:

I tell you it's a lot of meat on that bone you

Alan Carroll:

designate you gave us I appreciate I appreciate Cody I

Alan Carroll:

appreciate your your sharing, sharing sharing the light

Alan Carroll:

sharing the light with us today. Thank you very very much for

Alan Carroll:

being on the mindful you podcast. It was a very rich rich

Alan Carroll:

venture into the the gold mind of love. Very nice. Thank you.

Alan Carroll:

Still brings tears to my eyes.

Unknown:

Yes, I hope so.
