Habit stacking to reduce stress and build confidence
Mark Twain says if you have to eat a frog, eat the big one first! Logically we want to be successful. But some days are harder than others.
But each day as our feet hit the floor we have a sequence or pattern of habits that are stacked and triggered. Whether it is morning coffee or a morning bathroom routine, we naturally habit stack!
But what if we could add one little item to our already steadfast routine. Science tells us this can create a huge win for us over time. Massive change, one single habit action at a time.
Habit stacking is known to reduce stress while building confidence and resilience. If we have a steadfast routine, then adding one little addition is no big deal for our mind. These little wins are huge incentives for our mind.
Because psychology states that when we win in one area of our lives applies to other areas of our life.
