If you're looking for more clarity in your life, clarity of purpose or how to activate that purpose, and you are someone who wants to operate from your highest self to be a force for good, you know this world craves, then this is the show for you. I'm Anita Adams, your host and guide to finding clarity and creating a life you love. Let's tap into our inner wisdom, access our highest self and unleash joy. As we do this, we raise our vibration and heightened the collective consciousness and that my friend, is the joyful journey. Let's dive in. Hey, joyful journey are Anita Adams here your host and today's episode is specifically for those among you who need to be reminded to slow down and chill out. Before we get into it though, I want to share another listeners review as I felt this one perfectly fit with today's episode. This review is titled The Power of listening by Laurie Kingdon. Lori says, I'm so thankful for this podcast, I need his words, not just to push past our own fears in order to access our own inner wisdom by paying attention to our inner voice our intuition through listening, simple advice and profound, providing us with clarity during a tumultuous, confusing time. Thank you for your review. Lori and yes, I absolutely believe in the power of listening, even when that inner voice of wisdom tells you to chill out. This is something I needed to be reminded of again, this weekend. On Sunday, I woke up feeling edgy, and in a bit of a funk. I had a list a mile long of the things I needed to do. And I didn't want to do any of it. All I wanted to do was read my book, maybe do some baking and go for a bike ride. I should be working on my book, I told myself or recording another podcast episode following up with my clients promoting my coaching program planning my social media. And what about all the chores around the house that need to be done? Doug didn't want to do any of it. That made me feel a tad guilty, a bit lesser than because for some reason, I've told myself that those who are truly passionate about what they are here to do have boundless energy and never want to stop. I do understand that's not true. And yet every once in a while, it seems I have to remind myself of what is true. As I often do, when I'm struggling with how I'm feeling about something or looking for more clarity, I turned to my automatic writing and ask for some guidance. Here's what flowed from another conversation with the divine within. I don't like feeling so unmotivated. I wind. Sometimes just taking a bit of time for yourself is the best thing you can do. The Spirit tells me Do you always need to be in motion towards your goals? What if sitting in contemplation or relaxing with a good book is what you need. So you can let go of anxiety and tap into your creative energy. Sometimes you just need to recharge and how you recharge is different for everyone. Yeah, but but if I didn't, if I did nothing that moves me forward today I would I would feel like a failure. Like I didn't try hard enough. This is foolishness. Spirit replies. I want some define inspiration. I plead to get it you have to be in the moment. Present, not pushing with your own agenda. Hmm, that's interesting. Tell me more about that. Honor your feelings. Check in with yourself constantly and ask, How do I feel about this thing? What do I really want to do right now. Sometimes you will need to add sometimes you will need to do things that you don't feel like doing. And sometimes you can take the foot off the gas and relax into the moment. Honor the thought I am tired and I want to just chill today. There is nothing wrong with that. And when you honor what your body wants, then you are able to access your creative energy again more easily. You need to recharge you need that
