After teasing this for weeks, on today's show Jeff shares his new Freedom Engine (tm) to the audience.
What another business?
Always wanting to lead from the front, Jeff believes that if he tells you that you need to start a side hustle to reach your Freedom Day, he should also do the same. The new business is in the Solar industry, CPTX Renewable Energy (powered by Apricot Solar).
Why the Solar Industry?
Jeff has an investment theme right now in the renewable energy space. There were not very good options in the Solar space in the public markets, so as he was looking for an alternative he met his friend Sam Wakefield who had been with Apricot Solar. After investigating the company Jeff decided to join Apricot and build another Freedom Engine (tm).
CPTX Renewable Energy is focused on sales of residential Solar systems and has one simple mission "Do Good". With that one mission, we break that down to:
As we continue to build the company we will share with the audience what we are doing to meet each of these goals of our mission.
On the show, Jeff announced that the company will give 10% of profits initially to the Leander Excellence in Education Foundation with some of that money benefitting the IncubatorEDU program at Vista Ridge High School in Cedar Park Texas.
Jeff also made a commitment to the audience that he would do an income report each month on the show sharing the results of the company as it grows.
