Jeff Kikel:Hello, and welcome back my freedom seekers. Today, I'm going to be sharing with you 10 actionable ways that you can start making an extra $1,000 In the next month, you know, and this could be what boosts you to get you started on your journey towards freedom day, it can be what you use to fund some of your bucket list items, it can be what you use to purchase an asset down the road that will generate passive income. I don't care what it is, but it's going to start to retrain your brain. And this is one of our great steps within the Freedom Day method is retraining your brain to keep you from thinking, I can't afford this, or I'm going to put it on a credit card. So I can have it today and start retraining your brain to say how can I have this? What can I do to get this thing that I want, or this whatever it is. So retrain your brain. This is what we're going to teach you today. So let's dive right in. So let's look at the first way is freelance work, there are a ton of opportunities in today's world to do some freelance work on the side. Now, I will tell you, when we go through this, I'm going to tell you some stories about what I did my own personal world when I was first starting my businesses off to be able to survive, quite frankly, it wasn't about making extra 1000 It was about survival. And I used this freelance work as one of the greatest ways where I ended up making a lot of money on the side, to be able to keep us afloat while our businesses were starting up and starting to generate money, you can go to websites like upwork.com fiverr.com freelancer.com. And you can sell your skills, whatever you've got, whether it's writing, graphic design, web development marketing, what I used to do was I have a special talent for writing business plans that will sell or business plans that can be used to get finance from a bank. So that's what I did, I did this for a relatively low amount of money, but I was selling them for about $1,000 a pop, I could do anywhere from four to five of those per month working with, you know, a small business owner that didn't really have the skills, but they were willing to pay me 1000 bucks to do it. So this is a some Yeah, this is something that if you've got any kind of special skill, go out there, put it on Upwork and then start applying for jobs on there and see if you can get in and get yourself you know, moving along those lines and making some extra money on the side can't tell you any better way to do it. Second, online tutoring. So you can go to places like chegg.com VIP kid tutor.com. And that will allow you to monetize your knowledge and expertise. So if you've got special skills that you can help tutor or you've just got a special talent for math, or English or whatever, these are great ways for you. To make some extra money on the side, you get to kind of control your schedule somewhat. If you don't want to take that active approach, you can rent out a spare room in your house. You could Airbnb that so if you live someplace where people might want to come into, I live in Austin. So there's a lot of people that are coming to Austin, a lot of people that you know, are looking for a place to stay for maybe a week's time or something like that. You could rent out that spare room in your house that you're not using. I know we have a four bedroom house and it's just the two of us and a cat. So we have three bedrooms. Two of which I'm not really using I use this for my studio is another one. So I can easily rent this out. I can even rent out my studio if I wanted to. For people that needed to come in and do recording like I'm doing today. gig economy jobs. This is a great way and I know a lot of people are already doing this, just to make a little extra money and make ends meet. But Uber Lyft TaskRabbit. These are all places you could go to and either deliver food, do grocery shopping for people, take them cargo around, you know, go do small things for them, go fix things, all those kinds of things can be done in the gig economy. And there are wonderful things you get to control your schedule. That's the best part about it. Sell unwanted items. I know when we were starting our businesses, we had a bunch of crap that was just laying around the house, I have a library with probably 3000 books in it. And when we were really tight for money at the beginning of starting our businesses, literally we went through this exercise because before we had owned a business, where we sold things on Amazon, so I was very familiar with Amazon and eBay. So what we did was literally we looked through the house, I looked through all my books, especially books that were in demand type books, you know, books that were business books and things like that. I went ahead sold them on Amazon, we made money, and that was bringing enough money to keep us afloat. When we were getting our businesses startup. Participating in market research, this is another great way that we are a an economy of people that want to know what's going on, they want market research, they want to understand companies want to understand what people like, you can go to swag bucks or vindale research, they'll get you connected with, with companies that are looking to hire people to do market research for them. You can create an online course, today, if you've got any kind of specialized knowledge that's in demand, whether it's marketing, whether it's internet based stuff, whether it's how to write a book, whatever that is, you can easily turn that into a course and you can sell it online. And you don't have to create the whole website yourself or do all the marketing you can use sites like Udemy, you d m wide.com, or coursera.com. Those are both places where you can put your information out there, and then start to get people buying that. And they're responsible for bringing those people in to you. So once again, when you have those kinds of special skills like that great place to be able to sell your course online and earn money while you're sleeping. You can start a side business, selling hand crafts on Etsy, you can do pet sitting, you can do dog walking, all these type of things can be done very easily. You could clean houses, if you want it to go to care.com. There are places for babysitters and people that clean houses and everything else. opportunity for you to market yourself out there. Once again, these are active things, but it's a way that you could make 1000 bucks pretty easily. And the next month, right in ebook, if you've got specialized knowledge, write an ebook. Now people get scared about that, oh, it's gonna take me years to write a book. Well, here's a cool little trick that I will tell you today, you can do what's called Private Label Rights. So you can go to a couple different sites. One is the PLR store.com or plr.me.me. You can go to those places, or you can just Google, you know, Private Label Rights PLR. And then you know, whatever topic you're looking for, it will take you to the sites that have private label rights stuff. These are things that are already pre written, you can go on to them, you can buy the rights to them, typically very low less than $20. And in those cases, you can take that information. Most times the book is written already, you can go in there, it's in a Word format, or it's in a PLF or PDF format. You can go in there, you can edit the book, add your personal take on it, run it through Grammarly. You can take that book, then upload it to Amazon, Amazon has a thing called Amazon direct Kindle Direct Publishing, where you can actually upload that book formatted for Kindle, that also can be printed out as a book. It can be sold on Amazon as a book, which print on demand, or it can be sold via Kindle. It can also be part of the Kindle subscription service, which is where I've earned honestly more money from my books, because it doesn't cost anybody anything to do the Kindle subscription, you just pay for the monthly subscription. But every time somebody downloads your book, you make a little bit of money off of that. It's not a ton. But it's something that if you have a book that you can make popular enough, you can get it out in front of enough people that buy it, it's going to start to add up and it starts to add up where Amazon helps to to market it for you. Last one is affiliate marketing, and this is one that what I would do is just Google affiliate marketing on YouTube. And there are a ton of people talking about affiliate marketing. But basically the thing is with affiliate marketing, you're effectively selling someone else's product. So you're going out there you're doing the marketing part, they have the product, they have the store set up, you get an affiliate link that you can use and then you go on line, you do video, you do articles, whatever, and talk about that, and then that everything that's bought through the length Do you have that specialized link, you're gonna get credit for and purchase.
Jeff Kikel:The easiest one of these is Amazon, Amazon's got a, you know, it's got an affiliate store, you can go in there, you can get an affiliate set up and then basically sell any product that's on Amazon and get a commission for that by redirecting people to it. Now, it's not going to start fast, and it's going to take hard, it's going to take a little bit more effort to get to $1,000 in a month. But it is one of those things that you can get to and have a consistent flow of money coming in. And many people have made hundreds of 1000s and millions of dollars being an affiliate sellers never having to create a product themselves, all they had to do was get on camera, or write an article or write a series of articles that direct people to a product that people buy. So those are all ways that you can get started and get yourself to $1,000. In the next couple months, the object of the game is to get there. And then use that money to be you know, either do some bucket list items that keeps you excited about this, or take that money and use it to build up some assets that can generate some passive income and get you to your freedom day.
