Are you feeling wired-tired? Stressed out because of the election, the worsening pandemic and the uncertainty of the future? At the same time, are you feeling exhausted because there is just too much to be worried about right now?
As we go through this period of challenges, it is tempting to search for comfort and reassurance in the newest poll numbers, messages on social media, or conversations with others that share our views. Yet, at some point, we realize that no matter how much time we spend watching the news or scrolling through the web, we still feel uneasy and off-balance. The reason is that with all the distracting chaos and noise that surrounds us, we have lost connection with ourselves. Yet, to traverse these turbulent times with clarity, peace, and positivity, we can t let our mind get tossed around like a feather in the wind. Instead, we need to become like a tree that weathers the storm: rooted in serenity and integrity, flexible in how we approach every day, and open to let the light of truth, kindness and love reach our hearts.
Take a break from the election and other news, and join me this Thursday, November 5th on Empowerment Radio to learn how you can weather these stormy times with greater calmness and versatility.
