Courtland Tyler, Founder of UEP Studios, grew up rough. Hard enough that I’m sure many others gave him little chance of success. They were wildly wrong.
Despite not meeting his father until his late 20s and spending 10+ years in group homes and foster care because his mother was very ill before eventually passing way, Courtland has never given up. In fact, encouraged by his professor, he’s become an entrepreneur who has developed teams that design video games and produce impactful anime content.

Courtland Tyler, Founder of Unfocused Entertainment and Production Studios (UEP) is a former boxer and amateur MMA Fighter from Oakland, CA who chooses every day to overcome the difficult circumstances of his childhood to create content and build engaging games that inspire new generations.
Courtland studied law before completing degrees in Communication and Behavior Science and has plans for further studies in business and economics.
Courtland and his development team are currently working on their first Indie game titled The Oracle while his anime team nears the finish line of the first season of their series, TK.
