Susan welcomes Mike Overlie back to the show to talk about his new nonprofit SaveTwo.org that brings dogs and men together. Mike’s mission is “to save the lives of dogs and men, help them connect deeply to heal their wounds, and teach them skills to navigate this world and live better lives”. Mike has his own story of being saved by his dogs as he navigated various life challenges. He also will match men with dogs if they don’t already have one and has partnered with local shelters to completed the circle of saving dogs as well. Mike is an incredible person who understands that most men haven’t been given the emotional skills to handle the messiness that life throws at them. He works individually as well as in group form to help other men harness real confidence to live a happy life. In his book, Let Your Dog Lead, Mike shares his own emotional awakening and how that was a massive life changer. Check out our conversation and his linktree site for great nuggets of wisdom!
