AI is here to stay | DFS 280

Welcome to destined for success. I'm your

out. Leah Aaron. Welcome to destined for success. I'm your

host Jennifer Takagi and today I want to continue the

conversation surrounding A I. At last episode Eva tach was

talking to us about AI and how it was helping hospitals so that

they could actually improve the care for the patients and

compliance. So what does that mean for you? And what does that

mean for me? And what does that mean for our lives and our

businesses and what we're doing? Well, I can tell you, I started

out by taking a class I didn't even know that's what it was, I

signed up for it online. And it was called How to create three

months worth of email content quickly and easily or something

like that. And I signed up for it, they can Oh, great. They

have some brilliant ideas to help me get emails out to my

list. No, it ended up being using AI to help generate and

create whichever way you want to look at it or use it. The emails

using AI. So some people get really freaked out about that,

because they think it's going to cost a lot of people their jobs.

Guess what? It will? In the end? It will. I was at an event

recently with Brendon Burchard Ultra group. It's a an amazing

mastermind group that I'm fortunate enough to be in. And I

was stunned when Brendan was onstage and said, Are people

worried that their jobs are going to be taken by AI? And I

thought, oh, Surely he's going to try to soft shoe this and

back it up a little bit? No. He said, Yes. Yes, your job is

going to be taken by AI. So what are you going to do about it?

What are you going to do about it? Are you going to learn AI

and learn more and get better and become an expert at

something else, or incorporate it into what you're doing now?

And that really gave me pause it made me think and I was like,

wow, I don't, I don't really know how this is going to impact

hundreds of 1000s if not millions of people. But I know

how it's helped me. You go into AI, I have chat GPT. And you go

in and you feed it information. And people have heard the

phrase, a feed the baby, you just feed the baby and you feed

the baby and the baby grows. But then again, every now and then

the baby spits up. So every now and then AI comes up with

something and I'm like, what? Like, I didn't do that? That's

not my that's not my thing. I never did that. Oh, wait, no,

I'm not an expert in that area of expertise. So you have to go

in and tweak it. You can't just take it at face value. But oh my

gosh, can it give you great ideas. I was at an event

recently, and a gentleman gave us all templates. In order to

use AI to build sales funnel funnels sales pages, it puts it

all together. garbage in garbage out. They've been saying that

for 3040 years with computers you put that information in,

you're gonna get bad information out. It's the same thing with

AI. So the question becomes, how are you going to use it? Are you

going to use it to build your business? Build your life come

up with great ideas? Or are you going to fight it? You know, on

that bell curve. You've got the early adopters. And then at the

very end, you got the laggards the people who are screaming No

to the bitter end. You know, that person who still has a flip

phone? They're out there. People still have flip phones. They

don't want to step into it. They don't want to get a smartphone.

It drives me nuts. When I can't use my smartphone and Google

every single thing that happens in a show. Who are the actors.

When did this come out? What does it mean? It's the same

thing with AI. AI is going to be used for some really great

things. Are there some struggles with it? Yes. Are there some

glitches? Yes. Do I have the paid version? And every now and

then it's just like, Oops, we can't work. Please log in again.

Yep, it happens. But that's what happens with any new technology.

It's growing. It's building it's learning. And my perspective is

in the end is going to be really good and it's going to help us

do our jobs and show up the way we want to show up in the world

in a better Way, and get our messages out there clearly and

concisely. I'm a fairly decent writer, but oh my gosh, I put a

book I wrote into AI and said, Hey, give me a summary of this.

It gave an excellent summary. The entire book was written 100%

by me me typing on my computer. No, I needed, but some of those

little pieces that make it all better. Wow, it has been

amazing. So instead of fighting change, instead of resisting

with every fiber of your being, you might take a pause and

consider how can I make my life better? Look for the positive.
