New week, new episode! I am coming to you this week from our family's spring break in Florida!
Continuing our highly requested conversation around self-sabotage, today, I am focusing on one area in particular that I have recently found myself trying to navigate: conflict avoidance.
Keeping the peace to avoid conflict is a survival strategy we learned in order to create a connection with others. We fear 'rocking the boat' will increase our chance of potential rejection and abandonment, but all we're really doing is increasing the inevitable conflict down the road and abandoning ourselves from forming true connections.
This week, I dive into different ways conflict avoidance could be showing up in your life and give you tips on how to recognize your triggers so that you can slow down and begin to explore the conflict-avoidant part of you from within.
As you tune in, reflect on this question: What does your conflict-avoidant part want you to know?
That's it for today's episode! If you like what you've been hearing today, I encourage you to go to wherever you're listening to this podcast and leave me a review.
