Speaker:

Hello, everybody, and welcome back to the creative collaboration

Speaker:

show with Chuck Anderson. I'm so glad that you're here. And as a fellow

Speaker:

entrepreneur and business owner, you know, there are

Speaker:

times in our business where things are going great.

Speaker:

and things really couldn't be better. And then there's times in our

Speaker:

business where it's like, why did I even start this business? One of

Speaker:

my actually doing here, and sometimes all of that can

Speaker:

be in the course of one day. And so there's all sorts

Speaker:

of different things that we thank and feel and

Speaker:

experience in our business. And

Speaker:

and I would I always say this and you've heard me say this

Speaker:

before that your business will only grow to the extent that you do.

Speaker:

And that's why I wanted to have our guest on here today to

Speaker:

talk a little bit about, you know, how do we you know,

Speaker:

it's it's mindset, but it's more than that

Speaker:

It's our businesses and ourselves are really interconnected.

Speaker:

So I wanna introduce you to doctor

Speaker:

Noah Saint John, who is known as the

Speaker:

father of affirmations. We're gonna get him to explain that.

Speaker:

And the mental health coach to the stars. He's the author of

Speaker:

20 books, including his new book, the 7 figure expert, the

Speaker:

ultimate playbook for building a high ticket expert business.

Speaker:

And I just happen to know know that we have a lot of

Speaker:

people building high ticket businesses in this audience.

Speaker:

So Noah. Welcome to the show. Thank you. It's

Speaker:

great to meet her, Chuck. You know, and it was

Speaker:

I remember our first conversation. I mean, it would just flowed so

Speaker:

well. I mean, we just, you know, energetically, we just kinda, like, hit it

Speaker:

off. And here we are a couple weeks later, doing a podcast

Speaker:

episode. We're already talking about what we can do beyond this. I mean,

Speaker:

that's just the life of an entrepreneur. That's -- Yeah. -- that that is

Speaker:

it. So So we talked a little bit

Speaker:

about in my intro about where we're gonna go, but we'll

Speaker:

go wherever wherever this conversation leads. But You

Speaker:

know, I I read your bio, which is the white introduction.

Speaker:

Yeah. I think nobody tells it best other than themselves. So,

Speaker:

Noah, what's your story? Well, you know, I'm known for

Speaker:

helping entrepreneurs make more in just 12 weeks than they made in the

Speaker:

previous 12 months while winning their lives back.

Speaker:

meaning literally winning back 1 to 3 hours per day 4 to

Speaker:

8 weeks per year. So we are all familiar at

Speaker:

this point with the hustling grinders out there, the hustling grind crowd,

Speaker:

the crowd the lambros, I call them, you know, because it's all about

Speaker:

the hustle and, you know, work 18 hours a day. And if you're not working

Speaker:

on Christmas Eve, then you're a loser, and I'm going, are you nuts I mean,

Speaker:

give me a break. I want a life You know?

Speaker:

My business exists to serve me, not the other way

Speaker:

around. And yet, millions of entrepreneurs aren't living that way. They are

Speaker:

living you know, their their existence is to serve

Speaker:

their business, and that is not really how it should be, in my opinion.

Speaker:

So the point is that We all want more

Speaker:

money. No kidding. But if it's at the expense of our

Speaker:

life, what is the point? So Anyway, that's why what I do

Speaker:

is different, really, than what a lot of people do, what most coaches do out

Speaker:

there. And so it's really about, yes, of course, making a lot more money

Speaker:

in frankly, a very short amount of time. That's what we like to call hockey

Speaker:

stick growth. Right? The the entrepreneur is going along like this, and,

Speaker:

you know, even though they're working really hard, they just keep hitting as I call

Speaker:

it that income ceiling. They're they're hitting that income ceiling no matter how hard

Speaker:

or how long they work. And the main reason for that is because

Speaker:

they don't have these systems place. So I I give them these systems whether

Speaker:

it's with one on one coaching or group coaching or even my keynote speeches,

Speaker:

you know, around the country around the world for you know, companies, teams,

Speaker:

organizations. We put these systems in place, and then, you know, it's just a

Speaker:

hockey stick growth, meaning, you know, it goes up very, very quickly in a very

Speaker:

short the time. So so that's what I do. And, yeah, it's a lot of

Speaker:

fun. Well, speaking of hockey stick growth, many

Speaker:

entrepreneurs that I talk to are are working towards that very

Speaker:

intentionally. Sure. Others are are hoping and praying

Speaker:

that that happens really, really soon. And I know, you

Speaker:

know, with your work and you're actually known for working with

Speaker:

some Hollywood celebrities and 8 figure CEOs and

Speaker:

entrepreneurs of all of of all

Speaker:

types. So I wanted to if you could speak

Speaker:

to a little bit first of all, how did you get into

Speaker:

doing this? What's what's the origin story? And then, you know, we'll talk a little

Speaker:

bit about how we can help. Yeah. Absolutely. Well, I'll I'll give you the Reader's

Speaker:

Digest condensed version. Yeah. mean, very quickly, I I grew up

Speaker:

poor in a rich neighborhood. I know that's a total cliche, but it's totally

Speaker:

true. I grew up in a little town called Kennebunkport, Maine, which is one of

Speaker:

the wealthiest community in New England, but my family was dirt poor. And I mean

Speaker:

that literally because we lived at the bottom of a dirt road and a drafty

Speaker:

unfinished house that my parents end up losing a foreclosure. when I was just fifteen

Speaker:

years old. So from a very young age, I was painfully exposed to the gap,

Speaker:

the chasm between the haves and the have not. to haves, was everyone else in

Speaker:

the community to have nots, was my family. And I hated that life of

Speaker:

poverty, fear, lack, not enoughness. That's what I grew up with, but

Speaker:

I saw that right down the street, there's great wealth in abundance. So I literally

Speaker:

said, how the heck do I get from here to there? And, of course, there

Speaker:

was no one to help me. There was no Internet back then. You know? So

Speaker:

all I could do was go to the library and read books. That's all I

Speaker:

did. I read every book that I could on self help, personal growth, all the

Speaker:

classics, Dale Carnegie, Napoleon, Napoleon, Steven Cuddy. You know? I read all

Speaker:

those books, and I really, really worked hard. I really tried to get him to

Speaker:

work, but as hard as I worked, as hard as I tried, I just couldn't

Speaker:

get him to work. So At the age of twenty five, I actually decided

Speaker:

to commit suicide because I was so depressed, so frustrated, and I

Speaker:

decided to take my own life. Now at the very last moment, my life was

Speaker:

spared. I didn't know why at the time, but I realized, well, I'm here,

Speaker:

but I don't know why I'm here. I don't know why I'm here on the

Speaker:

earth. So I went on another journey a long journey to find my purpose.

Speaker:

And I went back to the library and read books on spiritual growth. You know,

Speaker:

Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Ernest Home, Neil down the wall, saw

Speaker:

the spiritual thinkers of our time. And then fast forward 5 years later

Speaker:

in 1997, I had 2 epiphanies that changed my life when I realized

Speaker:

what was missing in all those books that I've been reading for all years, and

Speaker:

it was a very powerful and very profound awareness

Speaker:

that could really lead to I knew it would lead to transformation

Speaker:

for not only myself, but for, you know, potentially millions of people. So I rep

Speaker:

I wrote my first book, which is called permission to succeed because I realized

Speaker:

we don't need anymore how to succeed. We need to give ourselves permission to succeed.

Speaker:

This was years before anyone else was talking about this. you know, not lots of

Speaker:

people talk about it, but I I was the first one to talk about it.

Speaker:

published that book called permission to succeed, which was eventually published by

Speaker:

the chicken soup for the sole publisher, And now, you know, 20 one books later,

Speaker:

you know, we've helped clients in over a 140 countries. We've

Speaker:

helped our clients add over $2,000,000,000, meaning six 7

Speaker:

and 8 figure increases in record time and, you know, working with

Speaker:

entrepreneurs, athletes, celebrities, you know, just people all

Speaker:

walks of life, health professionals, chiropractors. You know? And so it's really

Speaker:

amazing when people put these systems in place. But it really took, for

Speaker:

me, you know, 30 years more than 3 years, really. I've I've

Speaker:

studied and and pain and and torment and agony and having to

Speaker:

get all the arrows in my back. You know, you've heard the phrase pioneers get

Speaker:

all the arrows I've got all the errors in my back to prove it. And,

Speaker:

you know but what I'm able to do now, whether it's with one on one

Speaker:

coaching or group coaching or keynote speaking, has really helped my clients to get

Speaker:

there a heck of a lot faster than I did that, you know, really get

Speaker:

that hockey stick growth. You know, Noah, one one of the things I

Speaker:

always find fascinating in doing this

Speaker:

work is that the people I tend to talk

Speaker:

to in the 10 that tend to be in my world are

Speaker:

ones that have been on a journey of

Speaker:

overcoming some sort of a pain or healing and

Speaker:

their own transformation. And I think what I find even more

Speaker:

fascinating is that on the tail end of that healing

Speaker:

and that transformation, The very first thought is how

Speaker:

do I help others? How do I help others with

Speaker:

their healing and their transformation and

Speaker:

their their growth. And I

Speaker:

just you know, I I'm one of those people, almost everyone in my

Speaker:

circles are those kinds of people. So what was it for you? What

Speaker:

what really inspired you to

Speaker:

to go down this path. I mean, we know the the story of, you know,

Speaker:

the your healing and the transformation. But what was it? Where where did you

Speaker:

go? Hi. You know what? My calling is that.

Speaker:

I'm I'm gonna help others. It it happened on I can tell you exactly the

Speaker:

day. It was October 20 1997 over 25 years ago

Speaker:

now. And I realized when when I realized

Speaker:

exactly what was missing in all the success literate

Speaker:

share all the self help literature that was out there because I'd read it all,

Speaker:

and it was it was just not there. And I said, oh my gosh. This

Speaker:

is in fact the missing piece. And then I remembered a quote from

Speaker:

Emerson, and he said one time that what is most personal is most

Speaker:

universal. So I knew that because this was going to affect

Speaker:

me. It had been affecting me my whole life very deeply without

Speaker:

my conscious awareness. Well, I knew that I wasn't alone in because

Speaker:

what is most personal is most universal. I knew that there must be millions of

Speaker:

people like me who are suffering from this, struggling with this, but I didn't even

Speaker:

know the words to talk about it. You know? And so what I also realized

Speaker:

is that everybody else out there is talking about the symptoms.

Speaker:

Right? So when we look at as I called it earlier, you know, and as

Speaker:

I with, you know, with my coaching clients, whether one on 1 or group coaching

Speaker:

or keynote speeches, I call it the income ceiling syndrome. Right? You just keep getting

Speaker:

that income ceiling no matter how hard you work. What's interesting about that is even

Speaker:

if you get above your income ceiling, if you haven't fixed these inner

Speaker:

game, as I call it, now the inner game, you know, these mastery,

Speaker:

and fix these inner game issues, you're gonna go right back down. Right? So you

Speaker:

maybe you get above the ceiling, but you're like, oops. You know? Oh, wait a

Speaker:

minute. And then you go back down and you're like, how come I can't break

Speaker:

through? And so I solved this 25 years ago, and I solved the

Speaker:

whole thing. And that's why I've written all these books about it, you know, and

Speaker:

do all this coaching and and online courses and so forth. But the point is

Speaker:

that I realized that I wasn't alone. I mean, I couldn't be. I couldn't be

Speaker:

the only one, you know, suffering from this. So I knew there were millions of

Speaker:

people just like me, but they didn't have the words, and

Speaker:

nobody else was helping them. There was just nobody else that was

Speaker:

helping them. And what's also interesting about that is that I

Speaker:

so as a result of that, I've been teaching mental health and mental

Speaker:

health strategies for over 25 years now. But what's fascinating

Speaker:

is 5 years ago, you couldn't say mental health. Right? Before the pandemic,

Speaker:

people don't remember this, but you couldn't say mental health before the

Speaker:

pandemic. They they you know, and cut you off to the lumen. Mental health, what

Speaker:

are you nuts? You know? That's that was literally the the the response. So it's

Speaker:

like, you can't sign rental health. You know? They'll think you're a crazy person, which

Speaker:

is stupid, but that's what it was. And and so

Speaker:

now what happened And as frankly, mostly as a result of

Speaker:

pandemic, all these celebrities and athletes start talking about mental health, mental

Speaker:

health. And then I was like, oh, yeah. Mental health. I'm like, thanks for coming

Speaker:

to the party, guys. I've been here 25 years. You know, nice to have you.

Speaker:

Glad you finally showed up. You know,

Speaker:

that's it's it's so true. And, you know, I, you know, I

Speaker:

grew up in a small farming community where, you know, we didn't

Speaker:

share what we were feeling. Like, we didn't share our

Speaker:

problems. It was all in fact, the opposite. It was

Speaker:

to create this

Speaker:

illusion that everything is okay and that

Speaker:

we're doing fine. And and even in entrepreneurship, I mean,

Speaker:

the you know, almost 30 years as a business owner.

Speaker:

And same thing when I get around other business owners and

Speaker:

entrepreneurs. We're always talking about the new amazing thing that

Speaker:

we're doing and how well it's

Speaker:

going, but then secretly suffering. Right? And I think

Speaker:

today it's a lot more honest than it used to be, especially in the

Speaker:

nineties than you know? Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker:

No question. Yeah. So what are you noticing?

Speaker:

Are some of the mistakes that you think maybe business owners or

Speaker:

or entrepreneurs are making as they're

Speaker:

approaching this in their business. I mean, we get so caught up in the to

Speaker:

do's. and the tactics and the things that we're doing that's gonna

Speaker:

take our business to the next level. And and, you know, what

Speaker:

we're really talking about is is not just taking the

Speaker:

business to the next level, but in order to do that, taking ourselves to the

Speaker:

next level. That's right. Well, you know, there there are many

Speaker:

problems, but what I talk about all the time is that

Speaker:

any problem or pain that you have in your life or your business

Speaker:

is a symptom. And the problem is that everybody's talking at the

Speaker:

symptom level, but very few people are looking

Speaker:

at the cause of the pain. Alright? Now Thomas Jefferson

Speaker:

said that for every 99 who is

Speaker:

hacking away at the leaves of truth, there's one

Speaker:

striking at the root. And that's what I am. I'm you know, I've been

Speaker:

that one for 25 years now saying, hey, guys. We might wanna

Speaker:

fix what's actually causing the problem. I'll give you a perfect example. You know?

Speaker:

Everybody else is talking about self sabotage. Right? Self sabotage. Well, you

Speaker:

know, you're you're holding yourself back and, you know, you gotta get out of your

Speaker:

own way that everybody talks about. Right? And, again, people weren't talking about

Speaker:

this very much before. Now everybody talks about it. I've I've written 20 books about

Speaker:

this whole point. But the point is, you know, you know, you gotta

Speaker:

gotta get out of your own way. Okay? And so so here's

Speaker:

what they say. They say, well, you know, if you want to stop self

Speaker:

sabotaging, Stop self sanitizing. Really?

Speaker:

That's brilliant. Wow. I never would have thought of that. Thanks so much. That's so

Speaker:

helpful. You know? You you didn't say anything. You know what I mean? It's

Speaker:

like, if if you wanna not sabotage, don't do it.

Speaker:

Hello? What? Early in But that really is it. That's what they

Speaker:

say. Hey. If you wanna get out of your way, go ahead. And, really, I

Speaker:

never thought of that, man. And so that's like saying to an anorexic,

Speaker:

Somebody who, you know, has anorexia, somebody who's starving with us, say,

Speaker:

hey. What do you just eat? Really? Thank you. I never would have thought of

Speaker:

that. You know? So that's how stupid that it is out

Speaker:

there. And so I'm like, dude, you know, guys, there there's reasons

Speaker:

why people are doing these behaviors because that's the point. They're behaviors.

Speaker:

That's not a cause. Right? You don't just behave.

Speaker:

There's always a cause of your behavior. So why don't we look at the causal

Speaker:

level? But no one's doing it. So I'm like, hey. You know what? I've been

Speaker:

fixing the let me I'll give you a quick example of this from one of

Speaker:

my coaching clients. So I was talking with one of my clients, and his name

Speaker:

is Charles. And I said, Charles, you know, he actually read one of my Brooks,

Speaker:

and he he found one he found one of my books in Barnes and Noble.

Speaker:

He told me the story. He said he he was in Barnes, and I'll be

Speaker:

walked by. my book, which is called Power Abbotts, which is right there.

Speaker:

Anyway, so he walked by the book three times, and he said

Speaker:

something about it just grew me to it. And he said, I had to buy

Speaker:

it. I was like, okay. And and he said, I I read, like, half of

Speaker:

it, and it was so powerful that I just had to contact you,

Speaker:

Noah. This contacting on my website. I said, okay. Great. Well, that's

Speaker:

awesome. And then and then so we're talking about, you know, this income ceiling

Speaker:

syndrome, and as I call it driving down the road of life with one foot

Speaker:

on the brake. And I said, yeah, Charles, if if we don't get this problem

Speaker:

fixed, how much do you think that's gonna cost you this year? Like, how much

Speaker:

do you think you're gonna lose out on you know, we don't fix this problem.

Speaker:

Without batting and I, he said a $1,000,000. I'm easily gonna lose a $1,000,000

Speaker:

this year if we don't fix this problem. So I said, okay. Well, first of

Speaker:

all, number 1, I hear that all Right? I I mean, when I'm talking to

Speaker:

clients whether one I want or group coaching, they're always saying, you know, I'm easily

Speaker:

losing $10,000 a month, 50,000, a $100,000 a month. Well,

Speaker:

that's anywhere from 6 seven figures a year. Right? So that's a lot of money

Speaker:

that you're losing on out on because, you know, you haven't fixed the problem. So

Speaker:

that's not one. Number 2, I tell you what. Just give me 10 percent of

Speaker:

that $1,000,000. Okay? And I will find you that $1,000,000

Speaker:

in the next 12 months. In other give me $1, I give you $10 back.

Speaker:

Is that a good deal? He goes, yeah, that's a great deal. Okay? So I

Speaker:

said, let's do it. Now one one of the things I love about people that

Speaker:

I work with whether in one on one or do coaching, they're they're high achievers

Speaker:

and and they want results. Right? Meaning, they don't

Speaker:

dillydally. Right? They they make decisions quickly. Napoleon Hill said the

Speaker:

leaders in all walks of life make decisions quickly and firmly. So that's who

Speaker:

I love to work. So he said, yep. Let's do it. So he paid me

Speaker:

a 100 k on the spot. I mean, that's a 100 a $100,000. It's 10%

Speaker:

of a1000000. Right? So I coached him 101 for 12 months. I

Speaker:

didn't find him a $1,000,000 in that 12 months. I found him

Speaker:

$1,800,000 in 10 months. So

Speaker:

he gave me a dollar. I gave him $18 back. Is that a good deal?

Speaker:

No. That's a great deal. Right? And then he actually sent me an email. He

Speaker:

said, no. Guess what? Not only am I making more money, but I just

Speaker:

bought a new RV, and my wife and I were taking the 7 week vacation

Speaker:

we're driving around the southeast in our new RV. And he said, not only am

Speaker:

I making more money, but I have more time than ever before. So I said,

Speaker:

you're welcome. So, anyway, dad's what you know, the results that can

Speaker:

happen when you when you stop stopping yourself from success, but you do it at

Speaker:

the causal level, not the symptom level. Wow.

Speaker:

I I absolutely love that. And, first

Speaker:

of all, and just really leaning into our audience here, notice

Speaker:

that Noah, you're not talking about a tactic.

Speaker:

You're not talking about a business plan or a

Speaker:

strategy or a software or an app

Speaker:

or a hack. Hacking is I mean, that word

Speaker:

taken on a whole new meeting, and everyone's talking about the new hack

Speaker:

biohacking. And -- Right. That's right. You know,

Speaker:

you know, cloning other people's business models and all that kind of

Speaker:

stuff. But you know what? We're always bringing to it. We're

Speaker:

always bringing to it ourselves. That's right. I've seen this in

Speaker:

in in almost 30 years of mentoring people on

Speaker:

how to build businesses is I can take two people

Speaker:

I can give them the exact same recipe. That's right. One will

Speaker:

succeed amazingly with it, and the

Speaker:

other one will struggle in spin and

Speaker:

not really good. And and blame. The blame

Speaker:

usually comes out on that one. And And

Speaker:

but they were both given the same opportunity. They were both given the same

Speaker:

recipe. They were both given all the same steps. 1 succeeds, 1

Speaker:

doesn't. What's the difference? Right? Yep. Well, what I've been

Speaker:

teaching for 25 years is the difference. Yes. Yes. And and the nice thing is

Speaker:

is that I fixed it. So because I was that second person. I

Speaker:

was the guy that said, how come it's not working? You know, I'm trying everything,

Speaker:

man. I did what you said. It didn't work. You know? And I didn't

Speaker:

realize that I was holding myself back for all of these, you know,

Speaker:

unconscious reasons that now I get to teach people, and they go, we're

Speaker:

hockey stick. You know? And it's It really is amazing. I'll give you another quick

Speaker:

example. I was working with another client named Adam, and

Speaker:

he his company is the CEO, and his company had been

Speaker:

stagnant had been literally just plateaued at the same

Speaker:

level for the previous 4 years, and he had spent 100 of 1000 of

Speaker:

dollars because, you know, he's the company was about 4,000,000. Right? So

Speaker:

that's good money. Right? But they couldn't grow, and he'd spent so much money

Speaker:

throwing so much money at the problem. All the getting dudes and all the gurus,

Speaker:

whatever, and nothing just wasn't working. And he actually heard me speak in a

Speaker:

conference. He hired me on the spot. Like I said, you know, that these high

Speaker:

achievers, they they make decisions quickly and firmly. So he hired me around the spot.

Speaker:

I coached Adam for about 18 months, one on 1.

Speaker:

And in that in that 18 months, we took his company from being

Speaker:

stuck at 4,000,000 for previous 4 years to over

Speaker:

20,000,000 in revenues, 20,000,000. I mean, that's a 600%

Speaker:

increase. And what was amazing is we never talked about marketing. All we talked

Speaker:

about was what was going on in here, what was going on in his inner

Speaker:

game, and just removing these causes the or the

Speaker:

things that were causing him to hold self back that he, of course, didn't know

Speaker:

about. I mean, nobody holds themselves back on purpose. Right? Nobody gets up in the

Speaker:

morning and says, wow. You know, this looks like a great day. You know what?

Speaker:

think I'm gonna hold myself back from success today. Right? I mean,

Speaker:

that would be idiotic. No one will ever do that, but that's the point. It's

Speaker:

a conscious thought. But see, all of these things that are keeping people

Speaker:

stuck, millions of entrepreneurs, literally, again, without their

Speaker:

knowledge, they're all on the subconscious level. So it's

Speaker:

like the iceberg principle. Right? You know, it's about 5% of our thoughts, behaviors, and

Speaker:

actions as human beings are above the surface like the iceberg. Right? You only see

Speaker:

about 5% guess what? The vast 95% is below the surface. That's

Speaker:

the subconscious mind. Well, as I always like to tell my clients, guess

Speaker:

what? It wasn't the part of the iceberg that they see that sunk the Titanic.

Speaker:

It's the part they didn't see that sunk the Titanic, and that's what's thinking

Speaker:

most of us too. Yeah. And I think one of the big clues,

Speaker:

especially for those of you listening in right now is when you've

Speaker:

when when you notice patterns repeating, the like, it's like you said

Speaker:

Noah earlier. Like, you may achieve success beyond

Speaker:

previous levels of success. But unless

Speaker:

something changes, you're gonna find yourself back where you were

Speaker:

-- Mhmm. before long or

Speaker:

noticing the pattern of the same thing, the same

Speaker:

thing happening over and over and over again. So One of the

Speaker:

reasons that I invited you here, Noah, is that, you know, we're we're trying

Speaker:

to inspire people to reach out beyond themselves. and look for

Speaker:

someone to collaborate with. And I think that you're a a great person to to

Speaker:

to do that with. We're gonna talk a little bit more about collaboration here in

Speaker:

a moment. But first of all, like, what is the

Speaker:

what's the what should our

Speaker:

listeners notice about what is going on? Like, we're

Speaker:

always looking we we talked a lot about the tactics and the business plans and

Speaker:

the marketing and thing, and we're always looking for that silver bullet that's gonna take

Speaker:

our business to the next level. But What is it about what they're experiencing

Speaker:

right now that they should notice? It's like, you know what? No. Another

Speaker:

tactic is not what I need. What I need is I need I need to

Speaker:

spend some time with me. Well, that's the difference between what

Speaker:

I have been teaching for 25 years, which is inner game and outer Alright? So

Speaker:

your inner game is everything that happens between your ears that you can't see

Speaker:

directly, but it affects everything that you do. As an

Speaker:

example, you know, as a keynote speaker, I get to speak to companies, teams,

Speaker:

organizations around the world, whether virtually arrived. And I you know, one of the

Speaker:

things I say to my audience members is What is one area of your life

Speaker:

where your beliefs don't affect you? And here's what people do. They

Speaker:

go, I go, exactly. There's no place

Speaker:

your beliefs don't affect you. Right? Your beliefs affect your health. Right? Your

Speaker:

your mental state, your mental health, you know, your level of stress. They your

Speaker:

wealth, your finances, your business, also fix your relationships. Right? Your

Speaker:

personal, your intimate relationships, your friendships, and your social life, everything.

Speaker:

there's no place your beliefs don't affect you, but here's the thing. You can't see

Speaker:

a belief. You only see the effects of a belief. Right?

Speaker:

And so Not only that, you can be doing really well in one area of

Speaker:

your life, but maybe in another area, you're stuck or struggling. For example, maybe your

Speaker:

business is going well, but maybe your health is suffering or your relationships you

Speaker:

know, are not where they wanna be or vice versa. Maybe, you know, you're doing

Speaker:

great in your relations, but, you know, you're not making the money you wanna make

Speaker:

or whatever. So it's not cookie cutter one size fits all. That's why with our

Speaker:

coaching, whether it's 1 on 1 or group coaching, you know, it's very customized and

Speaker:

personalized for each individual person. And that's your inner

Speaker:

game. but then you also have your auto game. And, see, that's where everybody's

Speaker:

focused on. Most people are just focused on the outer game. You know, the sales,

Speaker:

the marketing, the tactics, everything you talked about, And just like Adam, that

Speaker:

client I talked about earlier, he'd spent 100 of 1000 of dollars on all the

Speaker:

outer game stuff that no one had come along and said, you know, did you

Speaker:

realize that you are unconsciously holding yourself back from the level of success you're capable

Speaker:

of? And, of course, you didn't know that. You know? Not only that. It's how

Speaker:

to fix that problem at the causal level, not the symptom

Speaker:

level, but at the causal level. Like I said, that's what I've been doing for

Speaker:

25 years. So when when you're looking at your inner game and outer game, That's

Speaker:

the distinction, but it's only when you master your inner game and your outer

Speaker:

game that you have the phenomenon called success.

Speaker:

Mhmm. And then, you know, if you're noticing these kind of patterns

Speaker:

happening, it might be time to have a a a

Speaker:

look. at what's not just the symptoms.

Speaker:

Like, you're saying, like, what's really causing this and then address that

Speaker:

because it's not the tax It's not the software. It's not someone's

Speaker:

amazing package that they're selling at a seminar.

Speaker:

It's it's it's it's like you said, it's it's it's it's what's

Speaker:

in here. And so it took me a long time

Speaker:

to to learn that. in the beginning of my career. And

Speaker:

whenever I notice a pattern repeating, it's like, okay. Stop.

Speaker:

Right. This isn't about the business anymore. This is about me.

Speaker:

And, you know, you mentioned something at the beginning of this as

Speaker:

well. It's like that whole idea of you gotta work every day

Speaker:

around the clock and all of that. And How many conversations I've had with

Speaker:

business owners that when I asked them to say, why did you start your business?

Speaker:

And almost always, it was

Speaker:

to create a better life for some someone

Speaker:

else in their life, like, relationships, such as their spouse or their

Speaker:

family or whatever. And, ironically, the

Speaker:

business takes them so far away from that that

Speaker:

it no longer really serves the purpose. Correct. Well

Speaker:

yeah. And that's exactly one of the things that I've I've been fixing for 25

Speaker:

years for for my clients. And, yeah, I mean, most

Speaker:

entrepreneurs start their business to to for one reason,

Speaker:

to solve problems. That's that's where or solve one problem. You know?

Speaker:

And many, many times, like, in my case, as a perfect example, I was

Speaker:

so frustrated with everything that was out there that didn't help

Speaker:

me. I'm like, well, I gotta write these books myself. You know, I gotta I

Speaker:

gotta create all these coaching programs. for me because,

Speaker:

you know, I wish someone would have taught me this 40 years ago. I'd be,

Speaker:

you know, a trillionaire by now. So, you know, nobody was there. So,

Speaker:

shoot. You know? But at least now, you know, people hire me, and

Speaker:

I'm able to help them to to to shrink, you

Speaker:

know, time, literally, to shrink time. And, certainly, the that's, you know,

Speaker:

what causes that hockey stick growth because if the if you just keep doing the

Speaker:

same thing, there's one thing I can guarantee. You're gonna get the same results. You

Speaker:

know? That that's it. I mean, Ben Franklin said there are only 2 guarantees in

Speaker:

life. Death and taxes. With all due respect to all Ben, there's actually 3

Speaker:

guarantees. That is third one is if you keep doing the same thing, I guarantee

Speaker:

you'll get the same results. You know? So that's why and and that's why, you

Speaker:

know, we need to have a a trusted coach or mentor come in there and

Speaker:

look at our problems from an objective third party and say,

Speaker:

did you realize you're doing this? And you're like, what? No. I didn't even know

Speaker:

I was doing that. Okay. Well, that's what I'm here for. Mhmm. Well

Speaker:

and then that's one of the reasons we do this show is that

Speaker:

we're looking for those opportunities to collaborate.

Speaker:

And a lot of times that is working with a coach

Speaker:

or finding someone to work with that helps you

Speaker:

to see things in a new way. That's right. And it's

Speaker:

made a big difference in my business. I'm a huge believer in it

Speaker:

because I know that it does help people a lot. How has collaborations

Speaker:

played a role in your business?

Speaker:

It's been absolutely huge. my most important collaboration is,

Speaker:

you know, with my wife, my business partner, and she is very

Speaker:

smart. She's very beautiful and very smart. too, which is

Speaker:

hard to find. And so, you know, she's a

Speaker:

very I'm like a book smart person, and she's a people

Speaker:

smart person. And so what I've noticed is that

Speaker:

bookmarks are sort of useful, but in many

Speaker:

cases, not so useful. Whereas people smarts, I think,

Speaker:

are are very valuable and useful all across the board. So

Speaker:

I've learned so much from being with her about just people

Speaker:

skills. You know? because I I was I was, you know, the the nerdiest

Speaker:

nerd that you've ever seen, the nerdiest nerd in the industry, And

Speaker:

I I wasn't very comfortable with people as a result of that because I'm like,

Speaker:

you know, just give me the facts. Just give me the the spreadsheets. just give

Speaker:

me the data. I I don't care about, you know, anything

Speaker:

but but data numbers. You know? And and I really meant that. And I was

Speaker:

like, That was actually very short sighted of me because, you

Speaker:

know, people drive the numbers, not the other way around.

Speaker:

And so I didn't realize that. So it was a field, you know,

Speaker:

took me a while to figure that out. But, you know, seeing how she is

Speaker:

with people and just people just fall in love with her. You know, men, women,

Speaker:

dogs, children, I mean, anything. And and I'm like, wow. That

Speaker:

is amazing how she does that. So that's been my most important collaboration. But, also,

Speaker:

when you look at for example, you know, with my affiliates. You know, we pay

Speaker:

tens of 1000 of dollars in affiliate, you know, commissions every

Speaker:

month, and I'm happily do that because And anybody's

Speaker:

ever run paid traffic noises. Right? If you run paid traffic, you know and,

Speaker:

of course, what's happening? You know, costs are going up, and results are

Speaker:

going down. Right? And that will never stop. That will never ever stop. If the

Speaker:

calls are gonna keep going up and results are gonna keep going down. Why? Because

Speaker:

there's just too much noise out there. And yet, when you have somebody that

Speaker:

says, hey. Have you heard about Noah? You know? Did did you

Speaker:

know that he gets these incredible results for his clients? And they're like, what? No.

Speaker:

Who's Noah? Oh, well, he's, and you're like, okay. Check him out.

Speaker:

See, that's never gonna not work. You know? And

Speaker:

it's, you know, 10, 50, a hundred times more effective than any

Speaker:

paid paid advertising could ever be. So I I mean, we we

Speaker:

treat our affiliates very, very well for that precise reason because we

Speaker:

want to make sure that people know that when somebody refers people

Speaker:

to us, we're gonna give that person the the white glove

Speaker:

VIP treatment that they deserve. You know, even when I I

Speaker:

started my business success clinic.com in a 300 Square Foot

Speaker:

Apartment in 1997 with $800 and a book on HTML.

Speaker:

That's all I had. I had no money, no business experience, no marketing, no

Speaker:

sales. No no business acumen. You know? There's no list. You know, the

Speaker:

only funnels back then was funnel cake. So, I mean, you know, that didn't even

Speaker:

exist. There's no social media blah blah blah blah. I mean, it was, like, trying

Speaker:

to build a house with you know, it's thickening some rocks. You know what I

Speaker:

mean? It was crazy. But, you know, the what I

Speaker:

determined even way back then was we're going to focus

Speaker:

you know, have a laser focus on customer service, on treating our

Speaker:

customers right. Now there's a very interesting caveat that I wanna say there.

Speaker:

Everybody's heard the phrase the customer's always right. Well, what we say at our

Speaker:

company is the customer is frequently wrong, and I don't mean that

Speaker:

mainly. But what I mean is that sometimes the customer comes in with a thing

Speaker:

that they really believe is true, and you know, it's my job as the coach

Speaker:

as the mentor to say, that's not actually true. And

Speaker:

one of the biggest things about that is, you know, people think, well, I can't

Speaker:

do it. That's actually the literally, the the bedrock belief

Speaker:

that most people have. That's like the default human belief is, well, I can't do

Speaker:

it. Well, guess what? If I if I agree with you, I say, oh, you're

Speaker:

right. You can't do it. What good did I just do? Right? Yeah.

Speaker:

No. You can't do it. Okay. Just pull up your tent. Let's go home. Wait.

Speaker:

What? No. Wait. My job you know, a big part of my

Speaker:

job as the coach mentors to say, What do you mean you can't do it?

Speaker:

What is that supposed to mean? Who told you that? And then then you start

Speaker:

to question it, well, wait. You're right. Wait. What do you mean I can't do

Speaker:

it? and see just right there, just that simple little example of, well, the customer

Speaker:

is frequently wrong, but I mean that in a loving way.

Speaker:

Yeah. And, you know, so

Speaker:

it really speaks a lot about again,

Speaker:

this this whole journey of we none of us really accomplishes

Speaker:

anything alone. That's right. And, you know,

Speaker:

like, when you were saying your you know,

Speaker:

how you really connect with numbers. As a former engineer, I also

Speaker:

connect with data and numbers. And it's like, how do we

Speaker:

manufacture a result? And it took a long time

Speaker:

to realize, well, the way you do that is you develop and nurture

Speaker:

relationships. Right? Exactly. Which is

Speaker:

not all that measurable. It's it's it's very

Speaker:

intangible, and it's It might be that

Speaker:

direct relationship or it might be who you know that they know. It might be

Speaker:

who you know that they know that they know, and you just never really know.

Speaker:

So cultivating the relationships is really

Speaker:

what I have found to be that that bedrock of the

Speaker:

business. Yes. The numbers. I still love the numbers. Don't get me wrong. I

Speaker:

love the numbers. The numbers are an indicator of how well I'm

Speaker:

doing at developing and nurturing my

Speaker:

relationships, which ultimately drive the business. So -- That's a great way

Speaker:

to look at it. I'm so glad that you said that because I

Speaker:

can so relate to it. So look. We've covered a lot of

Speaker:

ground, and I could tell that we could definitely do this all day. I wanna

Speaker:

talk a little bit about your upcoming book or your

Speaker:

new book. Yep. And I know everyone can get a free copy of it. And

Speaker:

by the way, You're watching this on video, there's gonna be a link just beneath

Speaker:

this video. Or if you're listening to this on podcasts, just go check out those

Speaker:

show notes. I've got the the link to this book and a number of other

Speaker:

things that Noah and I have talked about here today right there

Speaker:

in the show notes. So tell us a little bit about your book, and I

Speaker:

know they can get it for free. They just need to cover the shipping and

Speaker:

-- Correct. -- and then -- Yeah. It's called the sep it's called the 7

Speaker:

figure expert and the subtitle is your ultimate

Speaker:

guide to a life of more impact, influence, and financial

Speaker:

freedom. Those are the three things that most people hire me, you know, pay me

Speaker:

to have. I want no. I want more impact. I want more influence. And, yeah,

Speaker:

I want financial freedom. And so, you know, I really still my

Speaker:

25 years of experience helping my clients make $2,000,000,000, you know,

Speaker:

adding 6, 7, 8 figures and more in record time

Speaker:

I distilled it down to what I call my 7 figure expert formula. So that's

Speaker:

what I literally give you in the book, the 7 figure expert. And, yeah, the

Speaker:

book is free. We just ask you to cover the shipping. So wherever you are

Speaker:

in planet Earth, you know, through the United States. If you're in Canada, wherever you

Speaker:

are, we'll just ship you a copy there. And And, also, we

Speaker:

got some cool bonuses for you. But, yeah, it's all right there on the page.

Speaker:

Wonderful. Again, check out the links just beneath this video. And if

Speaker:

you're listening on podcasts right there in that player, you're gonna see the

Speaker:

show notes. All of Noah's links are right

Speaker:

there Just gotta click on them. And not only

Speaker:

go get the book, but you're gonna be able to check out some other amazing

Speaker:

things from Noah as well. Now speaking of books,

Speaker:

k. I asked this of all my guests, and it's it it

Speaker:

fascinates me still because everyone kinda has their own

Speaker:

recommendation, but Yeah. If if you were

Speaker:

to recommend one must read book. We've recommended yours,

Speaker:

but But what's a must read book for you that wasn't written by

Speaker:

yourself? The book that really changed my life was the 7 habits of how to

Speaker:

effective people by Doctor. Stephen Covey. That really was the the

Speaker:

book and the audio, ironically, that I that

Speaker:

really inspired me to get into this industry, you know, over 25 years

Speaker:

ago. In fact, I had the opportunity to interview doctor

Speaker:

Covey before he sadly passed away a few years ago, but I I never

Speaker:

forgot it. This was actually 1996 before I even wrote first book. And I

Speaker:

was wanting to be an author, and I asked him a

Speaker:

question that I was really, really wanting to hear what he And he was just

Speaker:

so wonderful. He took 20 minutes with me, uninterrupted on the phone. You know?

Speaker:

I was just a college kid at that time, so I was, you know, nobody.

Speaker:

and he was so sweet and and so giving. And I asked him, so doctor

Speaker:

Covey, how do you handle that how do you handle it when people just, like,

Speaker:

worship you and say you're, you know, the greatest thing in the world? I mean,

Speaker:

how do you how do you have not have, like, such a big how do

Speaker:

you not have a big ego? And he said something I never forgot. He said,

Speaker:

Noah, I want people to leave my seminars,

Speaker:

my coaching, my books, I want to leave any experience with

Speaker:

me. I want them to leave more impressed with themselves than with me.

Speaker:

And I was like, wow. Okay. I got it. I mean, I hear that. And

Speaker:

isn't that amazing how I diametrically

Speaker:

opposed that as to what we have today, with social media and look at me

Speaker:

and look how cool I am and look at all my cool stuff and my

Speaker:

helicopter, my car, and my blah blah blah. It's all look how cool I

Speaker:

am. And doctor Covey was just the perfect

Speaker:

example of the opposite of that is wait a minute. It's isn't about me. It's

Speaker:

about all of us. It's about raising the consciousness of the earth. And so that

Speaker:

that that book and and he himself was really my

Speaker:

inspiration and and remains so to this day. Wow.

Speaker:

Mind blowing. And I love that quote

Speaker:

so much. It's more about them being impressed with themselves than

Speaker:

being impressed with you on the stage, and Yeah. You know, I

Speaker:

remember when I was on stage for the first time and you get that rush

Speaker:

of, you know, people coming to stage or wanna shake your head. it's intoxicating.

Speaker:

It's really, really amazing. But at the end of the day, why are we doing

Speaker:

it? Is it to be famous, or is it to serve? Is it to help

Speaker:

people transform? And, well, there are people who do

Speaker:

it for the for the glory. Indeed. But, you know, the the ones

Speaker:

that I tend to to work with and collaborate with in

Speaker:

terms of the coaching and the the the whatever else we

Speaker:

come up with together where all the types of people who want to see other

Speaker:

people grow. Right. You look at our social media accounts. You're not gonna see pictures

Speaker:

of ourselves. You're gonna see pictures of the people that we help or the people

Speaker:

that we're giving a push to, and that's the difference. So I

Speaker:

love that you mentioned that, Noah. Amazing recommendation. Thank

Speaker:

you so much for everything that you've shared here today. I think this has

Speaker:

been just fantastic. And for anyone listening in

Speaker:

that you're still listening for a reason. Okay? So

Speaker:

because if it didn't connect, you would have turned this off long ago.

Speaker:

there's something speaking to you here about what

Speaker:

we are talking about. And that just tells

Speaker:

me that you're ready to take on that next step.

Speaker:

Go get Noah's book. Reach out to Noah. Get

Speaker:

into his world. There are

Speaker:

events and things that are going on throughout the year, which we have

Speaker:

linked here. Again, just beneath the video or in the podcast show notes,

Speaker:

that we would like you to go and check out,

Speaker:

and it's gonna be really, really time all spent.

Speaker:

Noah, thank you so much. And I I hopefully, we've done

Speaker:

our job, which is to inspire our audience. I mean, I you just heard me

Speaker:

lean in here a little bit and say, hey, guys. Don't let this be for

Speaker:

nothing. Right? You gotta take the next step. If you were to leave

Speaker:

our audience with just one final tip or words of a words

Speaker:

of wisdom, what would you leave them with here today? If you're feeling

Speaker:

stuck, if you're feeling frustrated, if you're feeling, like, you're working way too hard

Speaker:

for not enough, results, money, you know, you're spending too much time

Speaker:

away from your family and and, you know, really not getting the results you want

Speaker:

from, you know, your business or your life. There is help available. You know, that's

Speaker:

why we do have the book. It's it is free. We just ask you to

Speaker:

cover the shipping. We got lots of other resources on our website. You could check

Speaker:

out all the links that we have, but You know? I wish someone would have

Speaker:

helped me a long, long time ago. I I'd be a lot further on than

Speaker:

I am now if someone would have helped me with this. you know, these

Speaker:

strategies, these secrets, these resources. So, you know, that is my job now as long

Speaker:

as a good lord decides to keep me here on the earth. I'll I'll keep

Speaker:

doing it, and it really is very rewarding. A lot on and, you know, love

Speaker:

to see yeah. And oh, by the way, let's just let let us know that

Speaker:

you heard us on on the show here, and we'll we'll be sure to take

Speaker:

great care. Mhmm. And likewise, let me know that you've

Speaker:

connected with Noah, that you got his book, and send us an

Speaker:

email back And let us know you've done that. We'll send you a

Speaker:

free gift as well. I'm not gonna tell you what it is. It's a good

Speaker:

one, and it's a secret. So We don't want you to do it for the

Speaker:

gift. We want you to do it for what it can do for you. But

Speaker:

hey. A little incentive doesn't hurt also. So let

Speaker:

us know about that. So, Noah, thank you

Speaker:

so much. This has been amazing to our audience. If

Speaker:

you are listening to this right now and you are inspired, now is the

Speaker:

time to take an action. I would like you to choose one

Speaker:

thing that you learned here today might be

Speaker:

to go get the book, might be to do take some other action. Whatever

Speaker:

it is, take that action today. and

Speaker:

then notice the ripple effect that that happen that happens when

Speaker:

you start to take that action. And so with that,

Speaker:

I encourage you to keep moving forward. Never ever give up

Speaker:

on your big dream in that pursuit of the reason why you

Speaker:

built your business in the first place. And if you

Speaker:

need a little help, reach out to Noah. Reach out to me. There's help

Speaker:

available, and we are here in your corner. Until then, this has been
