In this episode, Tara breaks down why your sales strategy should NOT be focused on selling based on volume and an 'everyone can use it' philosophy. The more specific you are about who you are selling to, the more sales you will receive (even if you have a small niche size).

Speaker:fastest path to results. This podcast will give you practical
Speaker:real life tips that you can use today to build your online
Speaker:experiences that get results and create raving fans. Why? So you
Speaker:can monetize your expertise and serve more people without adding
Speaker:more time for team to your business. If you're looking to
Speaker:uncover your million dollar framework, package it and use it
Speaker:to scale, you're in the right place. Let's dive in.
Speaker:Hey, everybody, welcome to the episode. In this episode, I want
Speaker:to talk about your audience. Okay, so I'm going to just say
Speaker:this, because this is maybe my rant for the day. But if there's
Speaker:a topic that people need to hear over, and over and over and over
Speaker:and over again, it is building your course for one audience,
Speaker:the more you can build for one audience, the more specific you
Speaker:can be around your messaging, your
Speaker:ads, your sales process, and you can help that one type of person
Speaker:go from where they are to where they want to be right, so you
Speaker:can put them on one path that that sends them through to your,
Speaker:the fastest path to to how you're getting results, right.
Speaker:So really, really think about that, when you're reflecting on
Speaker:who you want to serve and how to get your expertise out there is,
Speaker:the more specific you can be about one avatar, the more
Speaker:successful you're going to be in getting the whole process dialed
Speaker:in, the more you send it out to everyone or to anyone or all of
Speaker:those other, you know, like avatars, right? The less they're
Speaker:less specific it is, the harder it is to sell. So so often
Speaker:people are under the Miss misguidance, that if you build
Speaker:something that's for everyone that it will actually allow you
Speaker:to serve more people. The problem is, is that if people
Speaker:can't identify with who it is you're selling to, and what the
Speaker:problem is, is that that you're solving, they will not buy. And
Speaker:so that's why dialing in one avatar is very important because
Speaker:it helps to just direct focus. It's like a laser pointer, right
Speaker:directs focus at specifically at the right person, and solves
Speaker:their specific problem. Now, once you have all of that dialed
Speaker:in, then you may want to go to some other audiences in the
Speaker:future. And that's great. But don't start with everyone.
Speaker:Because what happens is that no one buys, right. Because if it's
Speaker:for everyone, it's actually for no one. And if you are like me
Speaker:and you have a family,
Speaker:then what happens is when you say Can somebody take care of
Speaker:this, then guess who volunteers? Yep, that person called nobody,
Speaker:right? And so you have to be targeted, you have to be
Speaker:specific, you have to be clear in your messaging as to who it
Speaker:is that you want to be into your in your program, and how you can
Speaker:provide them results. So I really, this is gonna be a short
Speaker:episode. But I really want to be clear about how that process
Speaker:works, because that is your special sauce. It's not how much
Speaker:stuff you put in. It's not, you know, the bells and whistles,
Speaker:and the gamification and all of the things, all of that enhances
Speaker:the experience once they're in the door, which is wonderful and
Speaker:fabulous. And I talk about that all day long. But the problem
Speaker:is, is that if you want to attract the right people, and
Speaker:get a lot of people into your program, you have to be specific
Speaker:in terms of who it is that you serve. So fight the urge to be
Speaker:out there for everyone, right? All business owners, all people
Speaker:who do this all people who are interested in this, fight that
Speaker:urge and be laser focused and specific. Once you do that, the
Speaker:game changes you get the right people who raised their hand and
Speaker:so yes, that's me, I resonate with that, then you can send
Speaker:them in to your path and be very specific about how you help
Speaker:them. Alright, there you go. Think about that. Look at that
Speaker:within your own program and verify that you are being
Speaker:specific than all your marketing, all your branding,
Speaker:all of your messaging should be just for that person. Right?
Speaker:Imagine that they're sitting next to you at your desk and
Speaker:you're too
Speaker:Talking to them what do they need what are they feeling how
Speaker:do you want to help them solve their problem and make it
Speaker:personal to them alright there you go there is your course
