Have you ever felt like you're doing everything for everyone and still not getting ahead? You're stuck juggling the one on one work with no time to grow your business, yet you can't imagine giving up that personalized approach that you take that makes your services so impactful. What if I told you you didn't actually have to choose? Today we're going to explore the five essential steps to productize your service so you can scale your business without sacrificing those connections that you value most. And I'll share stories of real people who've done it, so you can see exactly what's possible. Welcome to The Scalable Expert, the podcast where we unlock the secrets to building a business that grows with you, not around you. I'm your host, Tara Bryan, business strategist, mentor, and creator of the INFINITE SCALE Method. If you're a coach, consultant, or service provider who's maxed out with one on one work, overwhelmed by the grind, and ready to scale your expertise into a business that works for you, then you're in the right place. Each week I'll share actionable tips, inspiring success stories, and proven strategies to help you reclaim your time, grow your income, and create a business that delivers results without sacrificing quality. Let's dive in and make your business INFINITELY SCALABLE. Alright, before we dive into the steps, let's talk about mindset. Scaling doesn't mean abandoning your clients or what you love about your business. It's about creating repeatable systems and experiences that enhance how you deliver results. Take Sarah for example. She is a life coach who loved working with her clients, but she felt burnt out repeating the same advice over and over and over again. By shifting her mindset from trading time for money to leveraging her expertise, she discovered a way to package her coaching into an online experience. Now she serves more clients, and has also reclaimed at least 15 hours, all while deeply connecting with her clients through live calls. So here's the shift that Sarah made. She went from trading time for money, to leveraging her expertise. Your value isn't in the hours that you work, it's in the transformation that you deliver. She went from being overwhelmed to having streamlined systems. She started with small tools and processes to simplify her workload. She went from a fear to losing that one on one personal connection to creating deeper meaningful connections in an online experience. So take a moment to reflect. Where in your business are you repeating the same steps over and over and over again? How can you package that into a streamlined solution? So now let's get tactical with the five steps to productize your services. Step one is to identify your authority strategy. That's your unique model and framework that sets you apart from others doing the same thing. In other words, it's how you help deliver the consistent results to your clients. So think of Alex. Alex runs a boutique PR agency. She used to customize every service for every single client, which left her overwhelmed and her clients confused because there was always something a little bit different. She was able to identify a common theme in her work and create the PR Launchpad, which is an online experience that helps her clients have the consistency, and frees her up to grow her business. How about you? Do you have a common thread in how you deliver results? What could become your authority framework? All right, step two. Design a signature online experience. We have a blueprint for what we recommend for this in what we call the INFINITE SCALE Method™, which is all about creating a strategic online experience that's scalable. But let's just revisit Sara for a minute. She started with a simple online program that addressed the most common challenges her clients were facing. It became her signature offer and the foundation for her scalable online coaching business. So whether you start with one training experience or a curriculum that mixes live connection with on demand training, the key is to start small and focus on delivering value with your current customers. Step 3 is to leverage tools that you already know. Don't let the tech overwhelm you. Use an all in one platform like Kajabi along with simple familiar tools that you probably already use like Zoom or Canva or Google Drive to get started. That's exactly what Brad did. Brad is a fitness coach and wanted to reach his clients beyond the local gym. So he created a hybrid experience called Beyond the Gym. He used Kajabi and Zoom and created a private community. He started with the basic tools instead of getting bogged down with all of the tech and all of the crazy. So what tools are you already comfortable with that can help you deliver that first online experience that you're going to do for your customers? Alright, step four is to pre sell your offer as a beta experience. Before creating all of the things, validate your idea with your audience. Alex pre sold the PR Launchpad to five clients before she built a single template. This generated revenue up front and gave her the confidence to know she was creating something valuable. Okay, so for you, who in your audience already could you reach out to today? Who would be interested in helping you test your new idea? Finally, step five is to deliver and refine. Start with that small group, gather feedback, and improve the experience. Brad's first group in Beyond the Gym loved the flexibility and personal touches he included. Their feedback helped him refine the program, and in less than a year, he grew his client base from 20 to 100. So how could you use feedback from a small group to improve the program before scaling it further? What would that look like for you? Here's why product testing your services is 100 percent worth it. Scalability. Serve more clients without adding more hours to your day. Increased revenue. Diversify your income streams. Time freedom. Automate repeatable tasks and reclaim your time. Global reach. Attract clients outside of your local area or time zone. Client retention. Keep clients engaged longer by creating a clear journey. An online experience doesn't have to mean giving up what you love. It's just about amplifying it. If Sarah, Alex, and Brad can do it, so can you. Productizing your services is the key to scaling your business, diversifying your income, and reclaiming your time.
